I am missing a package of 5 items from this order and also received the wrong color of a halter jumpsuit. Yes, the order was in July 2024, but they never gave me a refund or replacement for the jumpsuit. I asked if I was able to return the wrong one and they refused. They also refused to do anything about the missing package. They will also be taking some late fees and and interest fees off since they don't want to do anything about this. Businesses wouldn't go out of bankrupt and out of business if they'd stop losing customers due to their greediness.Business Response

I am writing regarding The Retail Equation denying my return at Kohls. I did write a dispute but have not yet received a response. I cannot tell you how humiliating this is and how much anxiety this has given me. I have been a Kohls charge customer for about forty years. I only use my Kohls charge when I shop at the store. Kohls is able to look any receipt. I purchase merchandise for myself, my husband, children and grandchildren and parents when they were alive. Am petite and short waisted and it can be hard to find clothes. I need to take clothes home and see how it works with my clothes that I own. I have bunions and flat feet so shoes have to be taken home with different sizes to see what feels the best. Also I am a breast cancer survivor and bras can be a real challenge also. My husband hates to shop so I have always bought clothes and shoes for him to try on at home. This has been going on for years. Of course I buy for my grandchildren the are two and four. Sometimes the sizes fit and sometimes I need to exaggerate or return. Kohls has improved the decor area and I have been redecorating and have been purchasing. Some decor items I had to return because they didnt work. I have been purchasing from kohls Sephora because of the it being so convenient . The had the ******* sale and bought for my girls and myself for Easter. Also I do repurchase items so I can get a better deal because either the sale is better or a coupon. I hardly use my Kohls cash. As I said again I am not committing fraud. I am just a 66 year old women trying to help family and save money. I have items to return from Kohls and Sephora. I was looking on the BBB website for Kohl’s and on May 28th two people complained about their return rejections from Kohl’s. Both disputes were resolved. It sounds as if Kohl’s has temporarily suspended using the TRE. Can you please look into this and let me know what is going on. Am I reading this wrong?

However I would like clarification regarding the pause of the third party vendor. Is Kohl’s pausing the third party vendor for just my situation of Kohl’s company as a whole. How long is the pause for? Will we I be notified if the pause is not on any longer? This whole situation has caused me a lot of anxiety. I would appreciate clarification.

The TRE system is still paused for everyone.
The new policy in place regarding return activity. If a customer receives a receipt with a return warning or return decline, they may use the contact information listed on the bottom of the receipt to file a dispute with The Retail Equation (TRE), and the dispute will be reviewed. Customers may also obtain a free copy of their Return Activity Report (RAR) at https://rar.theretailequation.com.

As Kohl’s MVC customer for 35 years I am truly disappointed. I use my charge card for every transaction at Kohls and customer service was always able to look up my receipts. How do we know when the TRE is back on? When is back on can I return. This is totally unfair to me and many other Kohl’s customers. Kohl’s was one a great place to shop but it is no longer and you can see thru the reviews and news information!!! TRE is also horrible place to conduct business with. Unprofessional, rude and not informative!

I would like to file a complaint again this happen to me last month my Kohls account is hacked and ********************** has not done anything to protect my data. I informed the fraud team last month and was told to change my password which i did again same date and same everything my kohls cash of $78.some change was taken again by this person. This has to be inside job as to how does this person know i have kohls cash and I have the actual kohls cash. It happen this past week and I have proof I was in ******* ******* since Thursday for my Cousin Engagement ceremony and return Sunday. My data was not protected yet now i am told my kohls cash is gone too when i want to use now someone is stealing my money and kohls has does nothing prevent I will be filing police report as to I don't know what other data of my are stolen by this person or being used. strange part is last week i check i had the $78 and this weekend on may 10th someone used exact same pattern as last month so i have feeling someone from inside is looking at my account using it. If know my account is hacked why would you tell me to change password you would close it and tell me to create a new phone number account or email account. so ********************** is fault for all of this. not my family member or friend knew i had kohls cash in my account and they would not use it. so it has be inside job and same store and same pattern something fishy. look at the camera and if they spend exact kohls cash then how did they know how much i had to spend when my husband did not even know this. so pleas e review and give me my kohls cash back or merchandise credit ... i just got this on 4/27/2025 kohls cash how does it happen after two week on same day someone use exact same amount of my cash.Business Response

The amount was rounded up to $75 and a Kohls Cash coupon for $75 was emailed to the customer on May 22, 2025, as a replacement for the ****** Cash used on May 10, 2025. The ****** Cash was used at the store where the customer shops. Usually this indicates the customer's family may have used the ****** Cash. We have no further information to provide at this time. On May 5th, 2025 I placed Order #********** for ************ Braided Round Jute Placemat Color: Tan, Size: PLACEMAT, Qty: 6 SKU: #******** at ********* for $44.75. The items were scheduled to be delivered May 9-may ******* to my home address but the items never were delivered. When the *** tracking number is clicked, it has no information about the package after May 9th. 2025. I called ********* 2 times on 2 different days to explain the problem and request a refund. I clearly indicated that the order was never received and I DO NOT want a replacement of the orderI want a refund. Each representatives I spoke with on 2 separate days refused to issue a refund. On the 2nd day I spoke with a representative named ****** and I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told the supervisor was busy and would return my phone call within 2 hours on 5/14/25 but a supervisor never called me. I also tried to get help at an actual Khols department store and the asked two said they did not handle ********* issues. In addition I tried calling khols corporate office and no live person is available to speak with. If 0 is pushed for an operator. the phone systems continually looped me back to the beginning of the messages This is terrible customer service from khols. I am sorely disappointed in such a big corporation ti have such poor service. May ******* Purchased an outdoor table for a party. I got it and since it was too heavy I ripped apart the box to open and carry the pieces to the backyard and easier to throw away and then unwrapped the inside to find out they sent the wrong color. So I called them and they said I wouldnt be getting the right color because it was a third party vendor! Im like why doesnt it tell you that when ordering something. I was so excited to receive the table and then when I actually removed the protective layer to find the wrong color I was so disappointed. They also told me they would do me the favor and cover the shopping and have it picked up. Im like do me a favor?? You guys messed up not me. I said I had no intentions of needed to return this and to make it easier to throw away the box I tore it apart so when they send someone to pick up Ill just need a new box please. They said they cant do that n will not be doing anything to help me. This is very upsetting I was so excited to get the table and now all I got was a headache. They have horrible customer service and dont seem to understand that they were in the wrong and they told me to dispute the charge w kohls credit card and then hung up on me. [I kept trying to get kohls to resolve this and they wouldnt and I ended up ordering another table because I needed it for a party and the table came yesterday and again is the wrong color and I contacted kohls again and they gave me the run around and said they must have the info wrong on their system and they have to correct that and I need to return this one which I cant get this in my vehicle(the box is too big and too heavy and I have a one year old that will be with me and didnt say they could send anyone here to pick it up) and then wait two weeks or so and try to order again and hopefully Ill get the right one!. Definitely unhappy with all of this and Im out $550.00 and still dont have the table I ordered.] for kohls being such a big company and not caring about making this right and getting me the right color table I ordered is beyond upsetting.

I placed an order for Culigan ZeroWater 52 oz water filteration system (OriginalOrder on 04/19/25 *********** ($29.19 pulsetaxes after coupon.) When I received the order on April 24, 2025, I noticed it's broken and ****** customer service took care of the issue by replacing the order (Replacement Order on 04/25/25 ***********) which was shipped subsequently to my home address in ** (my new temporary address due to my work!).Unfortunately we were travelling out of Country from 05/02/25 to 05/08/25 to attend a wedding in ****, MX so I had request ***** to reroute the package to the pick point near by. To my much of my dismay when I went to the pickup point on May 12, they stated they returned the product. Now when I call Kohls today and spoke to **************** agent ***************** ID: ***** to resend the package to mty daughters address (This was the present we are giving our daughter - My wife flew yesterday from ** to KC - which she was suppose to carry this filter for my daugher who lives in **, **. But **************** refused to honor the request to resend this product but only stating they will refund the money paid once they receive the item. They didn't even give me correct refund. I paid $29.13 including taxes after 40% off. But they only credited $18.** which is reidculous. I don't even have the time to deal anuymore on this issue. We were loyal as we avoided cheaper online option and brought most of the items especially clothing/kitchen/bedroom in the local ****** store. That will stop immediately for my family. May 3rd, 2025 I placed an online order at Kohls. A hold to my debit card for the order total was immediately placed on my card by Kohls. Some of my items shipped and some were put out for pick up. Every time part of my order shipped, or was put out for pick up Kohls CHARGED my card, even though they already put a hold on my card for my entire order, so they DOUBLE charged me. It's now 10 days later and they still have the large amount holding on my card, even though it's been 2 weeks since all my stuff was shipped, picked up, received and CHARGED in full for the entire order from them double charging me! I've contacted Kohls customer service probably about 10 different times now about this and they either hang up on me or tell me they can't discuss anything with me because it's, "Sensitive information, that can't be discussed" What a joke! Or they will say, we can't do anything contact your bank. My bank releases holds immediately! It's Kohls that refuses to release the hold, in which the entire amount of the hold should be released as they already charged me for my whole order. I have never had this issue with them before and I will never shop with again. THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!!!! My order total was actually *****, which they charged me ***** but then on top of that put a ***** hold on my card and it's been 10 days now and they will not release it!Business Response

Upon submitting an order through ************************** customers may see an authorization hold or multiple pending charges. These temporary holds are to ensure the card being used is valid and/or ensure that funds are available for order processing. Once merchandise ships, the holds are removed and the actual charge will post to the credit or debit card. Pending authorizations may take up to seven (7) business days to be released. The customers financial institution determines the length of the hold. Customers may consult their financial institution for assistance with release of funds.
Multiple authorizations may occur when an order is shipped in more than one package and/or if orders are combined with different fulfillment channels: Buy Online, Free Store Pickup or Buy Online, Ship to Store. The customers order had items for Free ********************** Pickup and also items were shipped to the customer.Please note the hold of $98.71 was initially the total for the order when placed on May ******. The item Boys 8-20 Minecraft Naive Heads Graphic Tee (SKU ********) was cancelled and this brought the order total to $88.63.

Last fall, I ordered online from Kohls. Upon delivery, 3 of the candles broke and were placed on top of picture frames along with my daughters comforter. I shared this with corporation, noting that I did not need compensated, rather to receive an order of the broken candles and picture frames set. Kohls offered a gift card in addition to a replacement of items. Additionally, I mentioned how those putting the items together should be more careful with packaging. I received my order today with 4 broken candles and have a minor cut due to the broken shards. There are chips in 2 candles and the other 2 distorted. I just closed the box so my dog and daughter dont access the shards. Why is this a continuous issue? I actively purchase from kohls-my account would reflect thousands purchased each year. Im a gold card member. Im an assistant principal, am taking doctoral classes, and have a 3-year old involved in activities. I dont have time to run out to have this replaced. Kohls cant seem to get packaging candles right. Things happen, but I have yet to receive an order that comes correct. It makes buying from kohls tough to do.Business Response
