    Communication leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered in Late January and heard nothing after that until early May. After no word for months, I finally contacted them directly, asking if I should request a refund, and was told that my order would be sent right away. When the order arrived - very soon, to their credit - it turned out that more than half of the order wasn't available. Stressing this: They waited 3 months to tell me that the majority of my order wasn't available. So, now I can't get the bulbs I wanted for this year because it's too late to order elsewhere. A simple email *any time in the last three months* would have been a basic courtesy. Yes, I understand that they may respond saying that, as a small business, etc, they can't guarantee stock, but there is really no excuse for zero communication for months. I only learned of the unfulfilled order when I received the package today. This is not professional-quality service. Again, to their credit, they refunded the costs of the missing items from the original order, but as landscaping is an annual project with limited timelines, they failed me due to their unacceptable communications.I cannot recommend HBF.

    Thank you for your feedback and we do sincerely apologize for the frustration. Your order was placed as a spring pre-order to be shipped based on zone per the schedule on our website. We did begin shipping to your zone in late ***** processing orders in the order received. When the order is placed we do reserve the inventory, unfortunately, the item was no longer in viable condition at the time of shipment, we did issue a refund for this promptly after being notified by our warehouse. Again, we do apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this may have caused.

    I ordered and received in autumn about 200 bulbs. Prepared the soil with amendments and fertilizer and water. Waited until spring for a glorious display and was sorely disappointed. Approximately 10 bulbs sprouted and none bloomed. Daffodils bought from ******* and planted in a slightly different area sprouted and bloomed profusely. Very disappointed in the Holland Bulb Farms product, and not able to get a refund ********* Not Buy.

    I have been a multiple order customer for several years. Amazing service, bulbs never disappoint, shipping my orders is great. I also order bulbs for the elementary school I work at in ******, **. Daffodils are one of the favorite blooms at school every spring. I find the company to be easy to work with.

    Bulbs are beautiful! Great quality, purchased my story daffodils and some grilled tulips and they all came up and bloomed beautifully! 100% recommend

    I ordered 8 astilbe starts 2 months ago and when they arrived all of them were in good condition. I planted them and shortly thereafter all 8 leafed out and now 4 of them have flowers. By comparison, shortly before these arrived, I had just planted astilbe from another company and while they are growing none of these have flowered. The astilbe from Holland Bulb farms are a much better product.

    Very satisfied with our order of mixed Unwin Dwarf Dahlias. although one of the 15 did not germinate, all the others came up strong, and healthy. The bulbs were of good size and great quality. My question about ship date was answered promptly, and they gave it priority treatment as we wanted to start the bulbs inside. Customer service is excellent. Thank you Holland Bulbs !

    I have yet to know if the product is good as I have not way of knowing when they will ship my one small order of Canna bulbs. Getting any info from their chat is impossible. All I need to know is the window (actual dates) of arrival so I don't miss the planting season. Very frustrating.

    I will never order from Holland bulb again. This is my second time ordering from them. I thought that my first experience was a one off but this must be their standard. I placed an order on March 2nd 2025 and it is now 4/14/2025 and I have not received the order. I should have planted those items already but I have not received a thing. I reached out 4 different times and last week I was told that it will ship by the end of that week and I should receive my order end of this week. Today I checked again and my order still says pending shipping. I reached out again and I was given a generic response to their process and shipping.The rep did not take into consideration that their staff already told me that it would be ship last week. I cant get a proper answer and no one seems to want to look at my actual order and give me a response tailored to the items in my order. I asked for a manager and I was told that someone has to call me back. they take your money with ease but they find it hard to be honest when providing an update. I do not want to be string along. when I expressed my frustration and I feel like I was lied to, the rep said sorry YOU feel That way!!! i feel that way because each rep tells me something different and no one is owning that problem and taking responsibility. if every time I call/ chat, they were understanding and apologetic, I would also be more understanding but to be rude when you took my money and did not provide the product is crazy!!!  order #*******

    Had an order last December that went fairly well, mostly daffodil and tulip bulbs that arrived in a timely fashion and all but a couple came up and bloomed.Decided to do another order in early March for planting mid-March. After four weeks, still no bulbs and no communication. That's when I noticed a shipping schedule on their website that projected a mid-March to early May shipping date for my zone (I live in central *****). Tried to call to get an estimated shipping date but couldn't get a live person. Gave it another ten days and this time I kept calling until I reached someone. Was told that not all the bulbs for my order had arrived and that they were waiting for the complete order to be available before shipping. They could not give me an approximate date for when that would be. Given the total lack of communication on their part during the entire process, I asked that they cancel my order and provide me a full refund. To their credit, that is what happended, and I recieved notice of my refund within 30 minutes of my call. Grateful for the quick refund. Wish they could do better on supply and communication.
