      Manager ***** assaulted me got in my face and yelling at me while trying to use the tanning machine. Very unprofessional. Needs anger checked before coming into work. Advise others to stay away from this gym. Equipment is run down and stuff falling off of walls. Disinfectant spray to wipe down equipment is just water. Manager should put his anger into cleaning the place up a bit.

      Purchased a one year at experience fitness and when it was transfered over to planet and when i submitted a complaint planet did not follow up and refund my money.

      I have been receiving multiple automated calls claiming that my account is past due and asking me to call...However, I have been ignoring these voicemails as my bank has been notifying me about the monthly fees being withdrawn by Planet Fitness. On 08/03/2023, I called ....and spoke with Nayeli regarding my account. At first, she informed me that I was past due and needed to make a payment. When I told her that I see auto payments being taken out every month, she informed me that I owed $90 for the monthly fees for December and June and the annual fee for December. I informed her that I already paid the $39 annual fee and asked why I didn't receive any notification about the past due amounts. She advised me because I am not an active member, I wouldn't get a call or a letter. She also mentioned that I am past due for December monthly, annual, and June monthly fees. When I expressed my concerns, she told me to go online and find the customer service number if I had any further problems. This call left me feeling upset as I have been a member of Planet Fitness since before Covid, and even though I have not been able to visit the gym since the pandemic, I have been paying my monthly fees. My bank returned the withdrawals for June and December, but the December annual fee was paid. Nayeli did not provide me with any information on who else to contact, not even a manager. She was very rude, careless, and hung up on me.I would like to resolve the issue of my total owed being removed. The representative advised that I haven't been an active member, which led to an incorrect balance. However, she refused to assist me.

      Be aware!! If you cancel your membership get written confirmation that its cancelled. I cancelled and they continued to tell me they had no proof that it was cancelled. I had to go through my bank to get my charges back. After my bank refunded the charges, Planet Fitness then proceeded to update my debit card info without my permission and charged me for an odd amount. it doesnt even add up correctly..I have now requested a print out of those charges which I haven't received. Im sure she will say it went to my junk email even though we have emailed each other a couple of times. I called them requesting a refund and the manager ***** refused. She told me she emailed and called several times to discuss. I did not get any calls from her and I am requesting a print off from my cell provider to prove she never called me. She also told me she emailed me and to check my spam. I checked my spam and junk emails. There was nothing there! She then proceeded to cancel the memberships but only sent me info that my daughters was cancelled. I had to email a couple more times requesting documentation that mine was cancelled as well. It was very odd! Its very sad how the Oshkosh Planet Fitness conducts business.

      I'd like to know why I can setup an account online, but can't cancel the same way I setup the account? I haft to cancel in person, and even though I work 13 hr shifts at the local hospital, they expect me to come in to cancel, when they've already overdrafted my bank account 2 payments of $25..... and I'm working the next 3 overnights.....Terrible customer service

      Planet Fitness **** ************. *********, **, Manager and some employees are much to sensitive about a weight dropping or if a person grunts. I totally understand the alarm, if this behavior is consistent. But when its "every time" a weight makes the slightest noise or person grunts. It becomes a bit irritating. After all this is a "gym". Today 6/8/2023 12:47 pm I called corporate to discuss this issue. But found out, that they are independently owned and I had to contact the owner. And I had to call that location obtain the information. At 12:51 I called the Good Hope location and spoke with the manger, who would not give me her boss's email address, unless I first told her my issue. I did just that, and after a short debate she gave me the email address. I did not get the opportunity to email her boss, before my shift ended and did as usual went directly to the gym. I arrived at about 2:50 pm the manger and another employee greeted me by telling me, that hey had attempted to have me barred from that location, (smiling) but it was upgraded to my membership being canceled. I asked why, and the employee stated, because I had cursed him out a few weeks prior, because he had confronted me about banging weights. (which never happened) He never approached me nor have I ever cursed at him or had a reason to curse at him. I then asked the manger, so the same day I call corporate, and then call you and ask for your boss's information you cancel my membership? She said, Yes, with a slight smile on her face and I left. For me, this is a clear class of "Retaliation" for me attempting to file a complaint against them.

      Have complained about the Champaign, IL location which is ran by Black Duck Partners c/o this PF. No one gets back to you about complaints probably why it's not accredited by the BBB. Kids run the PF in Champaign and none care about anything but sure make fun of the Corp that there not making any money in Champaign. It's a billion dollar business but they can't get wifi working in Champaign. You know a wifi hotspot would work,....the new location is the same as the last, no paper towel's, mostly old used equipment and kid workers don't leave the desk to do anything. Like i've said the only bonus to PF rather then Crunch next door is no one goes to PF, this store is why.

      I went to the Planet fitness located on
      1163 E Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60563
      As soon as I walked in the lady at the desk told me I cannot come here because my account is linked to only the location in Aurora
      4306 E New York St, Aurora, IL 60504
      I asked why and they said Aurora store should have told me before hand.
      I have came to this store many times in the past and nobody said anything. Until now
      But the lady at the desk didn't care and said sorry.
      I am writing a review hoping it would hurt Planet fitness business or if BBB can do something about it
      This is ridiculous I should be able to go to any planet fitness business if I choose to and it was the only reason why I chose to workout here no one should be kicking customers out
      It's bad for your business think about it.
      I might just leave and go to give my money to another place where I can workout.

      Beyond livid for so many reasons. First after researching I saw it would only be a $39 annual fee. Was charged $49. Second as a black card member I expect, at least people behind the desk to know what they are dong when a customer asks for something as simple as a tan. Not for the customer to stand naked in a room wondering why there is no time on the machine only to redress to get funny looks at what you are talking about. Next when I go to another club and ask about a service I don't appreciate being looked down on and dismissed. I want my $49 back plus since I'm stuck paying for another month I want that refunded as well. I'm not paying almost $26 a month to be treated like that. Oh and when you try to complain and do a live chat. Don't ask your customers for $5 to continue.

      I signed up for an annual membership at the ********* Planet Fitness and two days later the News-Gazetter reported that they were relocating east of the mall. That is a congested area and the additional distance makes it too far from my home. If they would have said something, I may not have signed up or, at most, signed up for the monthly plan. They refuse to give me any credit.
