      I have had many insurance companies in the past but Acuity is the best of all of them. Easy to deal with and when you need them, they are there fore you. Most insurance companies do not respect the client and are usually looking for the exclusions so they do not have to pay a claim. I have had only one 2 claims in my years with acuity and they were better than perfect. I feel like they have always been on my side and just plain easy to deal with. I highly recommend Acuity.

      I found a place to get cheaper insurance and I canceled acuity and they sent me a bill for a $539 saying a recent audit show that I owed this amount and then threaten me that it would go on my credit report if I did not pay immediately. I highly recommend everybody steer clear of this company.

      I'm a satisfied Acuity customer since 1996. Auto-Home-Rec Vehicles-Umbrella. Unfortunately I had deer hits in November 2022 $3600 and October 2023 $4100. Both were settled fairly and promptly with the body shop I preferred. We had hail/wind storm damage $25,500 June 2023. Again Acuity claims took care of us fairly and promptly. My premium went up about $250 a year, but it was still less than other companies I checked. I like having all my coverages in one policy due once a year.

      We have an insurance agent who is always looking out for us every time we need to renew for the least expensive, and most comprehensive company, so we changed numerous times over the years. He has always mentioned that Acuity is his favorite but has changed for us because we wanted a less expensive plan. Two years ago, we switched back to Acuity, and I don't think we'll ever change again. They are super easy to deal with and appear to be more interested in getting things processed and completed in a timely manner. We needed a new roof after hail damage which included stains from water through our ceilings on our 2nd floor. It was completed quickly because the money was dispersed to us as soon as the contractor gave a quote. I"m very happy with the ease of it all.. Thanks...and I'm very happy we're insured!!

      I was forced to reshingle my house before they would insure me. My shingles looked way better than any other shingles in my neighborhood, except for one set of neighbors who got new ones the previous years. Then, they jacked up my prices a lot for this new year, as well.

      We have been very pleased with our experience with Acuity. Communication and claims service has been excellent. There may be slightly more economical options, but they are worth the difference. I recommend them to all.

      Acuity is the most deceptive company I have ever worked with. I was honest and stated I had a woodburning stove. They said they needed to check the stove. They sent a very unprofessional expert to check on the stove. He searched my entire property and asked a lot of questions. I also told him the stove is a backup heat source a d only used if the power goes out. The wall and floor around the stove is brick, non combustible. When I asked why he was looking at everything not just the stove, he got sort of snippy with me. But as he was leaving, he said everything looked good . About a week letter we got the threat letter about being dropped, due to measurements in and around the wood stove. I thought this was odd, because the "expert" didn't even measure anything. If they don't want to insure me, they should have said that upfront. I have a credit rating over 800, don't need some shady company pushing me around. I am filing a complaint withe commission of insurance. As for home safety, as a first responder I teach fire safety and know my home is safe .
