      Buyer beware! The actuator they install in their power recliners is hazardous. My new kitten was under our power recliner, husband reclined not knowing she was underneath. Her tail got caught in the actuator and ripped it off. Ashley claims they hold no liability. Im asking for the veterinary bill and the price I paid for the kitten to be reimbursed to me. Ashley says no not their fault. Dont buy their junk Get a *********. The actuator they use is completely enclosed, Ashleys is open exposing the gear.

      Negative numbers don't count unfortunately! We have been in person -back and forth- several times, even though we live 80 miles away, round trip. The reason for that is, NO ONE ANSWERS the phone; and after a month worth the phone calls, you might get a human voice that has all the wrong information. Our sales rep, Vic *******, kept upselling us not only on the extended warranty but on the higher price models. We went so far as to go out of our budget and put it on credit for additional "savings and rebates" that never arrived. In under two years, we have attempted to get minor repairs handled with no success, months later the problem became bigger and our front load washer flooded our basement. We have over $20 something thousand dollars worth of MJ collectibles, sneakers, and rare football and classic car memorabilia...oh wait, almost forgot...Kodak moments that cannot be replaced! Store manager, Alex *****, could not go without being mentioned because it was him that after over a month of no success and damaged property, said he would personally "male it right". Well, making it right means you have two different third party warranty companies confused about who is supposed to process the claim. We finally got somebody from Madison to come "assess the problem" but that would be an additional 10 days. To be continued...

      I bought a chest style freezer, had the freezer installed and plug in by delivery drivers who were also to setup and instal. Product placed plugged in and left in our care and we were told to let it cool for a day then to go ahead and use it. Freezer was placed on it own circuit with a GFIC(ground fault circuit interup) in place. Nine (9) months later breaker popped, causing us to loose all freezer items est. $1500-$2000. Furniture and Appliancemart service manger to explain freezer should not have been placed on GFIC. Appliance mart and manufacture both refuse to warranty item or replace detective item. Several phone calls and visit to appliance mart and nothing but a run around to be told " nothing we can do,"

      If I could rate them a 0, I would!! We bought a sofa, loveseat and recliner. Our salesperson really pushed the extended warranty by "Furniture Care Protection" company. It cost $300 but sounded like a good thing as it covered pretty much everything and at the end of 5 years if you did not have a claim they refund half the warranty cost. WHAT A LIE!!! We called about a couple issues for the recliner. The repairman they sent came to the door ( 10 minutes after my 4 hour appointment window expired) with no tools and hands in his pockets. He barely looked at the recliner and said there was nothing he could do as it is normal wear and tear. The recliner is 4 years old and only my husband and I live here and he travels quite a bit for work so our furniture is very gently used. The sofa and loveseat are just fine and still look new- only the recliner has issues. I have been working on this issue with the warranty company and with Ashley for at least 50 days(many hours of calls). Both companies are telling me they will not cover any repair! What a rip off!! Not only do I feel the recliner was poorly constructed but the warranty is a FRAUD! When they called to tell me my claim was denied they said they don't cover cracks is the leather of the seat---my recliner is NOT leather. She said she had my correct file but I really think she was just a person they hired to call and tell people they were denied. I called the store manager at Ashley in ******** and he said his hands are tied as he can't go against the warranty company's decision. Moral of this story is that furniture should be made well enough so that it lasts more than 4 years so I question the quality at ASHLEY. Also, DO NOT buy the "Furniture Care Protection" extended warranty(they do still sell this exact warranty) as it is a scam. I will NEVER shop at Ashley again.

      Ashelys does not stand by their products. Everything you see on this page is all true. Their furniture doesnt last longer than a month, their customer service is terrible, and their sales team is trained to lie to the customers and all while Ashley steals everyones money for their poor quality in furniture. I will be reaching out to ********* ********** of ************ ***** *** ******** **********.

      I purchased a sectional sofa built by Ashley furniture from slumberland furniture over a year ago. I have a bad cushion on one section of the sectional. I have been trying to get a replacement for over a year. Slumberland furniture has been trying to get me to replacement for over a year. Pictures have been taken all the serial numbers to model number. The color number of the fabric. Everything has been turned in nobody's getting anywhere. This is gone on for over a year. I have tried contacting Ashley furniture. They said they cannot help me. I have to go through the store where it was purchased. I know the managers at both the ********** store and the ************* ******** store. They have both tried to help. They have submitted all the information to Ashley furniture numerous times. Ashley furniture is refusing to help and get the problem resolved.

      I made my last and final purchase of a bed and bedroom set on 10/09/23 at Ashley's on S. 27th St in Greenfield for $2637.61. I was told my furniture would be delivered on Monday 10/16. On Monday 10/16, the only items delivered was a mattress, boxspring, and a Bed in a Bag combo. My sales associate Kelly was great. On Friday 10/20 when my bedroom furniture was being unloaded from the truck, I was told my headboard was broken. I did not accept the furniture and refused the order. On Sunday 10/22, I phoned store manager, Liz ********. I told her I was frustrated and disappointed with Ashley's delivery and quality of the broken furniture and requested a full refund of $2637.61. Liz unapologetically told me that I would be charged a $200 restocking fee. I told he she was crazy since there was nothing delivered to me that needed to be restocked. On Monday 10/23, I went to Ashley's. I spoke to Liz. She told me I would receive a full refund after Ashley's picked up the used mattress, used boxspring, and used bedding on Friday 10/27. Store manager, Liz made no apologies to me. She had no interest in keeping me as a repeat, loyal customer. Liz had zero interest in customer service / satisfaction. Her managerial behavior, in my opinion, was severely unprofessional. On Friday 10/27, Ashley delivery picked up the used mattress, boxspring and bedding. On Monday, 10/30, I received a partial refund to my credit card of $2468.86, which is $168.75 less than I paid for this purchase. How and why Liz came up with this different price is unknown to me. I never got a call from Liz explaining the $168.75 difference. I am guessing she was too ******* and still didn't care about customer service / satisfaction. I finally got my $168.75 credit ... 2 weeks later. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture due to poor quality furniture and terrible customer service from store manager Liz ******** and her awful attitude about loyal, repeat customers. Bravo Liz !

      I am extremely disappointed with the after-sale of our new couch and the "customer service" I Noticed in first 2 weeks that it was wearing in several areas and that the wireless chargers made our phones very hot and charged very slow. Contacted CS-The woman I spoke to said to send her pictures and sent a text number to send them to. Sent 8 pictures of 8 different spots. Waited-no response, texted asking if she had information for me. She responded with an apology for the wait, that she had misplaced that information. She then set up a service ticket. Tech Timothy came to our home. His first reaction really bothered me. He said- this isn’t bad-I’ve seen lots worse with this couch. This material wears like that. I could replace it, but I can’t guarantee that it won’t look like this in a month. To the wireless charger complaint, he said this was an ongoing problem that he thought they fixed. Ours isn’t bad-he has seen them smoke before. I indicated I wanted my money back or a different couch. 2 weeks into a new couch it should not look like this and be showing wear already. He would get back to me. I heard nothing from anyone. I emailed the sales associate and the manager and waited a week for any response. I had a message from the director of service who said he agreed with the tech that came to our house and they feel everything that was able to be done was done. I will never give them a cent of my money again and have told everyone I know about my appalling experience. They are quick to take your money and then do nothing to resolve anything. Poor quality, expensive prices and no backing of their products. Worst ever.

      *******Horrible place to shop. We purchased ***** table set, their policy is after 3 days no returns only a tech can come out and evaluate or fix the problem. Chairs feel like they have a hollow spot in the middle and table is chipping away. I will highly recommend anyone who wants to buy good furniture NOT to buy from them. I wouldn't even give them a one star.

      We do apologize for your frustration. Our records indicate that we do have an exchange set up to correct the "manufacture defect" with the table under the 1-year manufacture warranty. If this is not the case please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to review it further. As for the chairs it was determine that they were not defective by our technicians therefor we could not do a return outside of the return policy.
