I placed an order for a golf map in November of 2023. I followed up with the company four times when the order was not fulfilled. I received one response that the order was delayed and assured me it would arrive. My next three follow up emails were not answered and the final one in December 2024 was an email that the address was not found.Initial Complaint

I ordered a wood engraved map from Sport Connections in Nov. of 2023. They said they were back ordered so I gave them time. On Jan. 24th 2024 they said my item would be sent by 2-17-24. It never cam. Over the past 10 months I have tried to contact them through phone-always busy, email, doesn't go through anymore. So you are my last resort to at least get my money back.Initial Complaint

Purchased a custom map on February 2, 2024. Received an email on April ******************************** production. That was the last I ever heard from them. Ordered a custom wooden golf course map on 12/1 for my dad as his main Christmas gift from me and my siblings. Was told orders were running late and wouldn't be fulfilled by Christmas, I was quoted 2/26 as final delivery date and told the map was "In Production". We all thought, no problem. My dad is a small business owner himself and would totally understand the delay. April 2024 rolls around and still no map -- so I reached out via email and that night was contacted by a man (wish I could remember his name) who I believe was a project manager for Sportsman Connection. He explained they had been riddled by production/supply chain issues and my map would be delayed a few more months. I was frustrated but empathized, with hopes that the map would eventually arrive. He even assured me that he would personally make sure my specific notes about the custom map would be heeded and would inspect the final product himself before delivery. It's now December, over a year from the original order, and I never received my map. My dad never received his gift and my siblings and I are out $180 with nothing to show for it. The company's website is completely gone now, their phone lines are cut off, emailing them goes nowhere, you can't send any messages. It's ridiculous that this is what I get for empathizing with a small business and being understanding, instead of demanding a refund right then and there. A simple refund and a "Sorry we couldn't fulfill your order" would have been fine, but now I'm convinced I've been totally scammed by this company that has since disappeared.Initial Complaint

On 09 November 2024, I ordered a custom wood lake map. I have never received my order. The company never responded to my emails. I was given an order update on January 24, 2024 saying that my order will ship by 2/17/24. Now the business website ********** says it's under construction. I ordered a custom map on April 27, 2024 for $489.95, followed up on May 13, 2024 receiving the response as described in the BBB summary. At the time, accepted that it could take longer since it was custom ordered. Sent another follow up on September 20th as it was well past what they quoted in timing and received no response. I purchased an item from Sportsman's Connection on December 9th, 2023 (order #******) for $314.95. The order status shifted from "awaiting fulfillment" to "in production" on April 10, 2024. After numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email, I got an email response from "******* *********" from their customer relations department, stating that the product would be available within 2 to 3 months. I ordered a all outdoor atlas in early spring and sportsman connection took my payment, and I received nothing.
