My employer hired United Regions Van Lines to move my family 2315 miles for me to accept a job. When scheduling I verified my items would not be left in a warehouse or loaded and unloaded off a teeth multiple times. United Regions was paid in full. When my items were picked up the driver asked when the first day were would be available to accept delivery of our items. He was informed my first available day was Feb 22. He made a call and said that would be no issue they would be bringing the items that day and that my items would be going straight to the area I was morning to. Needless to say it is now March 16 and there is no sign of our items. When I called on Feb 22 I was advised that they have 17 business days to deliver my items. When I asked where my items were they said that my items were in a warehouse in *****. They will not tell me where the warehouse is other than it's in *****. I have called United Regions multiple times and have been told that I would have to just wait by some of the rudest customer service representatives I have ever spoken to. Finally, on March 14 I was told the driver would be calling my to schedule the next day It is now 2 days later, and I have not received a call and cannot get anyone to answer when I call or to return my calls. Do not schedule with this company.

Congratulations to those people that had a successful move with these people. Unfortunately mine did not go as smoothly. I will just hit on some of the major problems I experienced. I was quoted one price in the beginning with the understanding that it was an estimate and could increase with the number and weight of pieces moved. That was all fine and good BUT with every turn they told me I owed more money so it went from a $6000 move to over $12000 - double. On top of that I am still missing numerous boxes, ended up with boxes that belonged to someone else (which I hunted that person down, they contacted the van lines, who finally agreed to pay for the return of the boxes to them, which I packed and prepared for shipment. ( they did pay for some shipping material, I added much more, and shipping fee), antique furniture, which they packed, arrived broken (4 pieces), wardrobe shipping boxes destroyed, glasses and mirrors broken, a ceramic patio stool arrived in pieces and the list goes on and on. I ended up filing a claim with them, which has taken over 6+ mos. for all to get completed. Little to no help from customer service during this period. After all this the settlement amount they paid was under $100. If i had to do it over again, more research would have gone into my choice of a mover. I originally considered the moving pods. At least then maybe I would have all my possessions arrive and if they were broken, I'd have no one to blame but myself.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You will end up paying MUCH more than they first tell you. Its almost a scam. Ive never been so unhappy with a service in my life. When we booked this company, I questioned the employee about their determination for the price. I suggested they come look if they needed to see the quantity and size of the goods to be moved and provide an accurate estimate of the cost. Instead, upon his insistence, I did a video call with the employee so he could see all the items to provide the cost for the move. He told me 'this is what we do, so we know what to allot for space. Don't worry!'. Unfortunately, I trusted him. The last day of loading, we were told we were 'over our space allotment' and we'd need to pay an additional $7K THE AFTERNOON OF MOVING (like we were going to leave the rest of our items behind?). That is absolutely wrong. We felt we had been scammed. We had no idea that such an increase in price could occur after 3 phone calls with them to 'be sure' they properly allotted space on the truck. They should feel ashamed. What if we absolutely didn't have that money? Were they really going to just leave our belongings? It is so sad to take advantage of people when they are at one of the most vulnerable times in their life. Adding insult to injury, we were told we'd have our stuff a day or 2 after we arrived in our new home, when in reality, it was almost a month. The crew leader that loaded our stuff said he'd be the one to drive the truck out to the new location and some of the same guys would unload the truck etc. Lies. All lies. So very sad, and I'm embarrassed to say I 'fell prey' to their process. I would never recommend this company to anyone who asked for a mover recommendation, based on the way we were treated.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. *******, ******, and **** are all liars. This company charges you for services they did not provide. I have asked to speak to the manager several times and I have not been able to speak to someone in 3 days. I originally requested for a packing with my move but realized I had extra time on my hand. I spoke with *******, and he stated when they called before my move to let them know. Three days before my move I let **** know that I had packed 90% of my move. **** stated the driver will see that when he got there. The driver agreed that he did not have to pack much other 4-6 boxes he called the company and the furniture. The driver wrote on the paper he called the company, to let them know. They charged me an additional ******* for something they did not do. ****** calls and stated because my items went over the cubic feet, she will be charging me that's fine. Buti what happened to the discount I should receive for not packing. ****** stated since it was on the original receipt, that I still needed to pay. THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFFS. DONT DO IT, DONT DO IT. These guys are SCAMS. I should of know when they came in an enterprise truck. NOT A UNITED REGION TRUCK. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONE.

The movers came on 8 February 2024 to pick up my furniture. I told them in the preview how many boxes I had , how many wardrobe boxes need, suitcases, and totes. Of course the estimate was cheaper than the actual cost according to them. I called to ask how much before I got a money order. When I tried to pay, the movers quoted a higher price. They said I could pay the difference upon delivery. I was told 10 days that my items would be at my new place. On the 7th day they called for MORE money. It has been 13 days and no furniture and customer service says up to 10 more days. I don't have money to continue to live in a hotel. I start a new job and will not be able to get off since they gave me two weeks for relocation. The contract does not state that they take items to a warehouse awaiting other items before shipping. I have moved before and it has not taken this long. I believe they kept furniture in ** waiting on money. These people are scammers. The person that initially assisted me won't answer my phone calls or stated that there is nothing he can do. I am filing with the BBB due to age discrimination. Still waiting on my belongings.

This company operates a con game, not a van lines. The sales team gave me a low bis for my move and assured me my goods would be packed, loaded, transported and delivered professionally and promptly. They bid the project based on my photos, information from another bid and their “modern technology”. The bid was around $15k. A few days before the move, and at a time we were unable to find another mover to meet our schedule, they contacted us and uped the bid to over $18k, saying the sales team was wrong with their estimate and would be “disciplined “. We were stuck and had to accept the new bid as we had new owners moving into our house and a closing to get to in *******. We had to sign their one-sided contract and furnished a sizable deposit. The driver and crew arrived late for packing (when I called on the due date, they were in ******* and we lived in ***********). Throughout this time I was constantly assured my goods would get to ******* the following week in time for closing on our new house. Customer service NEVER called me except to demand some money! I always had to call them. The packing and loading process is normally chaotic but this seemed more so; we had origi al boxes for many of our valuable Lladro pieces but they did not utilize them. We paid extra ($250) for our grand piano but they had no piano dollies and my neighbor witnessed them “bouncing the piano down the front steps. Worst of all and this was very concerning to me, they arrived and loaded a 26’ box truck, not a 53’ moving van. Russ, their driver and supervisor, said not to worry, they would transfer the load to a van in town. This was Friday; they loaded until late at night and returned the next morning around ten. They loaded until Sunday morning at about six. Russ then told us we had nearly 4000 cubes and the new cost would be nearly $30,000! We had to leave and had no choice. They also loaded another family’s goods to our trailer and sent it to ****** ****!!

I believe that I have been mis informed by this company. The movers came on January 10th 2024 to pick up my furniture. The mover said it would take a week for my furniture to be delivered. I did not realize that the week meant to the warehouse and then from there would be delivered to me within 17 days, I moved from ********* ** to ***** **. I was told that I needed to be here in my new place when the truck arrived, Thinking my furniture would be delivered within a reasonable time, I flew to my new apartment. I have been here since then and it is now 2/1/24, I have not heard from the moving company for a possible delivery. I am a 71 year old woman and my living conditions without furniture in my new apartment are horrible. I cannot afford to stay in an hotel. It has cost me over $7000. for this move and will owe another $3856. upon delivery. I need some communication from them.Note: I had my cars transported from ** to ** and received the cars within the week.

Bait and Switch - That is United Regions Van Lines. Do not use. They are dishonest from first contact. So, they had us do a walk through using our Ipad with the sales rep, moving through each room, closets, floors, and walls. The resulting estimate was $13,950 ???. We paid the 30% deposit by credit card. Two days before our scheduled packing date, another rep called to conduct a 2nd walk-through. This walk through increased the estimate up to $16,756??? On packing day, a Sunday, the first thing the supervising packer did was conduct a 3rd walk through, which increased the previous cu. ft. by another 323 cu ft. And upped the cost to $21,654??? We were horrified,The Household Goods Inventory was completed by Tim and we had to sign it in order to start the packing. No time to review the document. After two weeks after packup, we were told that our furniture was still in a warehouse in California waiting for a truck and driver for the transport!!! Bait and switch on packing estimates. An increase of almost $7,000 at a point when we are left with no options, two days until we were out of the home and leaving the state. I called the Monday after the packing to register a complaint. The rep listened and empathized, then informed me of an additional charge of $2500 for use of a shuttle. Due to dishonest practices and lack of full disclosure, we are charged another hidden fee. The combative customer service rep, Amanda, yelled when we called to inquire when we could expect delivery. She said it was peak season and they had to find trucks and drivers. NO DELIVERY NOR A PHONE CALL WITH AN UPDATE. On June 8, Alex, the driver, called to say they would deliver the furniture on June 8 around 5:00 p.m. He later called and said the truck had broken down. Also, they put the large furniture back together.....very shoddily. screws were left off or not tightened. no one takes responsibility for anything.

We have filed complaints with the BBB, FTMC, the ** Attorneys General, ** Attorneys General, submitted to a news station, and left an *** tip. The company replied with misinformation to both AG offices. We have requested a partial refund and reimbursement for damaged items. The company has not responded or attempted to find a resolution leaving us only with legal recourse. My wife hired them to move us from ** to **; our experience was abominable, and we believe they are participating in extortion, coercion, deceptive billing practices, and unethical conduct. Arrived a day late with no communication, didn't answer phone calls when we attempted to clarify paperwork. Movers arrived in an Enterprise truck, spoke poor English, no identification. My wife was coerced into signing additional paperwork, one mover stood over her stating she had to sign. The movers adjusted the price multiple times; binding estimate was just over ****** and in the end, we paid over ****** as the company would not release our belongings, tell us where they were, and ultimately held them hostage. The movers dissembled numerous items and counted items as multiple pieces then called them miscellaneous and upcharged us.The company claims our items took up more room on the truck but gave no photo or visual evidence. Lack of transparency and explanations during the moving process. Concerns about third-party movers **************** **** handling belongings without consent. The company cites their contract allows for third party movers but we have no documentation of this. The company states some documentation may have been 'misplaced.'The movers at delivery refused to reassemble disassembled items, contrary to the contract terms. The company claims they provided receipts, we have none verifying payments. We request refunds/reimbursement for damaged goods; received no reply. We urge people to avoid this company and hope our experience deters others, so you do not experience this nightmare.
