      Mt olympus is horrible, bugs in the room. Terrible customer service and facilities. Be ware when booking your next trip there. They may have low prices but you get what you pay for.

      My family and I stayed here from April 12-16. I booked the room over the phone with someone and paid in full, for the 4 days it was over 700 dollars. Upon arrival I checked my bank account and noticed a deposit fee from them for 1054.00. Most places that do a deposit like that give it back to you after you check out. Well my Olympus claims they have no record of charging me the extra 1054 dollars. Even though it clearly says Mt Olympus deposit on my bank statement. After moving to a higher up who told me there was nothing she could do and to contact my bank she hung up on me. Let’s just talk about the actual stay. Which was terrible. We had to go to an off campus place to check in. Which is within a five minute drive to the resort. Inconvient but not that big a deal. Well we get there the first night and the rooms were dirty. The floor was sticky, the table was sticky. And they gave us 4 towels for 6 people that they knew were staying in the room. And only five pillows. Since we are on the subject of pillows they were the most flimsy and uncomfortable pillows I have ever laid on. And the beds were super uncomfortable. Both my man and I woke up incredible sore and unrested from the discomfort of this awful place. Tried to get pillows and blankets and extra towels no one could be found. Phone was sticky and didn’t work and there is no one on-site to help. Finally found someone to get it for us and he came with a pillow that looked as though someone had a bloody nose and wiped it on there and all kinds of nasty stains on blankets and no towels. Not once did room service come to clean. We had to empty our own trash, and use dirty wet towels because there is no one to replace them. Also water park was incredibly lame and they had no go carts, or rides going at all like I asked if they would and they said yes. So if you like to waste money on a shit hotel with shit service that will charge you more than double what you agree to then this is the shithole for you.

I was able to locate your reservation and can see that we sent you over receipts detailing the total charge of $723.91. Please be aware that some credit card companies do add an additional incidental hold on your card. It is possible that this is where the confusion lies, but rest assured the only money collected by the resort via your reservation was $723.91. In regards to our park hours we are currently outside of our peak season and therefore due to weather are limited in our outdoor ride availability. I have forwarded your housekeeping concerns over to our housekeeping management team to ensure they are addressed.       I would give this place -1000 stars if I could. This was our first time to the Dells and had a horrible experience here at Mt Olympus. First- and last-time traveler to Mt. Olympus. This place is run down and needs upgrading for one but the service here is absolutely horrible. It started when we first tried to check in and was told that I could not check in because it was before check in time which when reserving we were told we could check in so we could get passes to the water park. I was stopped by another employee who told me I could check in and requested I get back in line and get check in. You figured starting out on a bad note they would help to make sure we got checked in but didn't. I got back in line and checked in and what do you know I room was available and fully checked us in. The service is horrible, got into an argument with an employee at the theme park because she jumped into a conversation between my wife and I. We left early because there were people across the hall smoking weed so bad it made all three of my kids get sick and the hotel did nothing about it. I have called for three weeks straight and no one has called me back to talk about the situation like they promised they would. Security is horrible here, the staff is horrible and the managment dosen't care if you come back and stay and the resort is dirty, nasty and very outdated. I will definitely spend my money else where next time I go to Wisconsin Dells. Just horrible first experience at the Dells with this place.

      This was the worse place I reserved and left right away to go to the hampton inn. The nastiest place I ever stayed. It didnt look like anything like was said, I asked them for a refund they refused. They also wanted to put me in another bug infested motel , worst customer service and have no hearts in their customers. Dont ever book there!!!!!

      I actually just left there and a day early too because everything was just so gross! I did not get or see anything that was advertised online. I have pictures of the walls, baseboards, etc that were stained up with God only knows what. No staff to be found and the water park was overcrowded, gross, and pool floats were mostly flat. I was very disappointed and all I want to do is go home and take a long shower and wash EVERYTHING due to fear of bed bugs!

      The room didn’t have enough storage/table space. I think a table was missing from underneath a hanging lamp. Bathroom vanity was small. The shower pressure was very low and shower faucet was close to breaking. No coffee/ keurig machine. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very small and flat. The radio/alarm clock was broken. Outside the room was so loud you could hear everyone talking and running all day and night that it keeps you up. The window curtains were not long enough it was letting a lot of the outside light shine in. I couldn’t wait to get checked out. The indoor pool was gross with so much hair floating around. The water was very cold. The pool towels were so tiny and worthless. We reserved the indoor pool seating for a Friday and Saturday. That was well worth it for how packed it was. The lifeguards were rude and disrespectful. They all seemed so bored being there. The crowd got a little sketchy at the pool and I almost saw a fight go down. It was very uncomfortable to see. Since coffee maker is not in the rooms I got Starbucks but depending on the day it wasn’t open till 7-7:30am. Nothing special about the food menus and variety. No breakfast anywhere. From arcade staff to concession stand staff everyone was always on their phones. While on the clock getting paid, not a good look for guests. Some things were beyond the resorts control, other things were but over all it was just a bad experience. We traveled from far away and we were looking forward to a nice get away. Rooms, pools and staff all made it a very unpleasant stay. This is not a place I will recommend for families. Waste of time and a lot of money wasted. Go elsewhere. Spoke with a manager about the complaint. All she really had to say was that I should have contacted maintenance. Unhelpful.

      I had a trip scheduled for the weekend of February 17th. Before the trip I had a family member get sick in the hospital and we could no longer make the trip. I called on February 9th to tell them this and that I could no longer go. This was a recorded phone call on February 9th, the employee on the phone told me I'm sorry but we only do refunds if a death occurs in the family. As much as I didn't like that answer, I said ok. Unfortunately, that family member did end up passing away. I called back to let them know about my previous phone call and get my refund for the trip. They told me no, and that the employee on a recorded line was wrong and they don't do refunds. Then they offered me a credit. At this point I don't want to ever step foot back in that place of business knowing they treat the customers like this and have these awful views due to some policy. Forget the policy for once and have a heart and some decency. Especially when your employees are telling customers they can do a refund. Get your s#@& together. I will now be contacting my lawyer to further investigate this situation and if I can't get my money back, the lady who gave me wrong information will at least lose her job. That is way to important of information to get wrong. You will be hearing from us soon!

      I would never recommend this place to anyone. Once we finally got checked in, which was a major hassle, as we too had lost the original form of payment and they made it so difficult to use a different credit card. The first, of two rooms we rented, was unsanitary. Was not vacuumed, major stains on all the furniture, unknown long dark hair all around the bathroom counter and sink, tub drain clogged, bed was in such condition that it sagged severally in the middle, couch needed to be replaced years ago, Filth on the walls and doors. Second room rented was just as bad and the neighbors were loud and yelling for hours at their kids. Went to the front desk and they made no effort to try and relocate us to another building or clean rooms. We ended up booking a room for are children in another hotel for the weekend and spending all of our time at their place. We filed a negative complaint with customer service and they responded back right away to contact them. We did and after they heard the details and condition of the rooms they offered us a whopping 50.00 credit. We asked to speak to the manager just from the manager to suddenly be away from their desk. We left a message for them to return our call but a week later they have yet to call or take our call. Several other families and couples also complained on social media the same weekend and too were denied room changes and also resorted to checking in to other hotels. Don’t waste your money at this resort as it is a filthy dump.

      I will not be coming back to Mt. Olympus! This hotel is the worse I have ever stayed. Check in process was a joke. I had lost my card that I reserved the room under instead of changing the card number in the system they refunded me the money then recharged the room under my new card number. Then to go check out they offered the option to use a different card number. No staff in hotel. The noise level is very loud that my young kids could not sleep. Called and complained 3xs for them to do something. Room next to us was smoking weed. kids running up and down the hall knocking on doors. Though out the night. Staff was vacuuming the hallway in the middle of the night. Doors to the building were broken.( didn't even lock) Hair in shower. The beds (everytime you moved the squeaked) and pillows were the worse I ever had to deal with. The bunk bed had a 3in mattress on it. ( it felt like the kids were sleeping on a hard board on the bottom.) Found dead bugs in the room. The bathroom- shower was not hot. The toilet had to be flushed 2x to get everything down. Plus the toilet is made for a 4 year old child.The pool area is over crowded, not enough tubes. Tubes were half flat. Cold inside the pool area water not warm for my young kids. Pool staff just shoved you out of the way. One kid PUKED on the ship slide they shut it down to clean it up then reopened the slide back up. It was only shut down for maybe a half hour.When I called and brought up my concerns I was told you can come and get a refund and check out for the one night. Remind you we had a 2 night stay.So please save your time and stress. Spend the extra money to stay someplace else. We will not be returning and I will not recommend anyone to go there.
