      I wish I had read these reviews before booking my stay! I booked online at a rate of approx $250/night and never received a confirmation email. I didn't check out at the hotel so when I received my bill via email, I was charged approximately $350/night. Tried to find a human to talk to which was almost impossible and they said that because the confirmation email had the price I 'agreed to', they wouldn't do anything. But I never got the email - so I really think they have a scam running!! Horrible customer service!!!!

      Absolutely a horrible experience. Unorganized, and the worst part was I spent $700 for a night with NO hot water in my room. It is after 10:30 PM waiting for someone to come fix it. At this point my kids took a cold shower.

      I think this is a sheister operation. I was NEVER at GWL. They charged my credit card last year. I disputed it and the credit card company said they should have never charged my card without prior authorization. My family member, although warned about this shady business, was adamant about going so as to make his kids happy. Well, needless to say, they charged my card again after I had asked them to disregard that card last year and they told me it would be removed. Well, they did not and when my family member went to pay, it came up on my card. I was obviously upset and spoke with a supervisor who looked into the matter and even told me that I shouldnt have that charge on my card. Then when they looked into it, they insisted that my family member pay last years price that my credit card denied them. This was a spiteful move since the obligation came from my credit card and had nothing to do with this year. They told my family member that if he didnt hand over ***** dollars ( for last year and this year) he would be arrested with a felony charge. I had to send over 3500,00 to keep my family member from this threat. They charge too much and do not go by what they claim. My family member will NEVER return as there are other places near us. I hope the public reads this and understands what kind of sheisty operation this really is. GWL, you are not worth the bother and expense.

      This place needs to be shut down! They are overpriced (400.00 for a room for 1 night), then you buy the unlimited passes (300.00), but then you are charged for everything, 105 to use towels by the pool area, points for the arcade that charge 200 or more for prizes, 14.99 for toppers on magiquest wands, 8 for icecream, etc, etc. I do not think they should have so much ******* around or in a venue that is supposed to be catered to kids, but it makes sense that they want people ***** and unaware of how much they are overcharging. I am disgusted and I cannot believe we are in a day in age where in addition to higher costs of living on everything we have cut throat inhumane businesses like this I will never go back and recommend people stop for this place to go out of business. Its ridiculous and their service from the food to the activities is not worth the prices at all.

      I have been requesting an invoice for last year and I cannot get it. No one can do it nobody can send it. This is a really bad image for the lodge and embarrassing for the name and what they stand for.

      Check your bill from Great Wolf Lodge! They charged us 200 dollars for no reason, with no explanation. Customer service said it was taxes… but taxes were already accounted for on our bill. They could give no other explanation, and when we added all of our other charges up it still didn’t make sense.

      They are falsely advertising promotions for the Presidents Day sale BOGO. The offer is for buy one night get the second free. If you apply the offer and then select dates it will confirm that the offer was applied in green but when you go to check out they double the price. I called reservations thinking it was a computer glitch and supposed top guy in guest services that I spoke to said it was for certain dates but online it doesnt block out dates or say which dates its not available for AND it confirms that the promotion is applied with a check **** in green. When I asked how a person is supposed to know what dates its not applicable to he said they can only tell us over the phone. The terms and conditions do not say which dates its no applicable to. A customer should be able to see that info. But the part that made me write the review is that I had multiple pics of how the offer was applied and accepted and how they changed it up at checkout. Its illegal to false advertise like this. Guest relations saw my review and responded by asking me to contact them but they never responded to me.

      We reserved a suite with the birthday package for our girl's birthday party. We arrived at 4 pm the check-in time. We were told the suite was not ready. We had to wait in the lobby for 1.5 hours with our kids and bags. During that time, we checked with the hotel several times and were told the room was still not ready. We didn't get settled into the room until almost 6 pm, two hours after the check-in time. This is unacceptable hotel practice and violates consumer rights.

      This place is atrocious. It makes my skin crawl. We had a cheer team of 22 girls and four adults at the resort for the cheer competition this past weekend. One room was greeted with bed bugs. This did not only affect the seven that were in this room, but the entire team. These girls had to take time out of their afternoon that they should’ve been swimming and bonding to get their bags ready so the hotel could steam, the clothing and heat treat the room. They were in one of the larger rooms with the upstairs with three beds and a sofa couch and ended up being moved to a room that had one queen bed, and a sofa. that is not an adequate exchange whatsoever. Not one person at that hotel went above or beyond in any form of customer service. He treating the room and steaming. Their clothes is a given. That is not service. We did not bring the bedbugs in. This should’ve been a fabulous last competition of the season for these girls and a great way to end the year and instead , they were dealing with wet luggage, moving rooms, not even getting to enjoy their dinner, and getting sick from the extreme chlorine smell in the pool . These girls fund raised since August to pay for this trip and this was the **** that they got in return. At this point, no one has offered to do anything for these poor girls. They missed out on a lot. They did not get to enjoy the full experience of their dinner with their friends and had to air dry their clothes for their competition the next day. Shame on you.

      Wolf lodge in ******* did tried to scam me out of my deposit and also have employees that were completely inappropriate in front of minors on Thursday February 1st 2024. The front employees where inappropriately touching each other and kissing while on the job infront of many minor children instead of practicing proper safety procedures the resort advertised. The resort also may need to have food safety training in the ice cream shop because my daughter spit out a cardboard chunk because the box was not properly opened. Besides the service being terrible safety was a real concern. And the billing needs to be looked into. They did complete try to steal from me
