I’ve been using My Tax Prep Office Tax Software for the past few years, and I’m overall very satisfied with its performance. The user interface is straightforward and easy to navigate. The step-by-step guidance feature is particularly helpful.

Llevo usando este software durante el tiempo que empezaron, pero lamentablemente tengo que cambiar ya que NO tienen palabra, me ofrecieron un lifetime price y llevan estos últimos años subiendo el precio, finalmente la pasada temporada pagué 100 dólares más y me bajaron a un plan inferior. Estos últimos años he tenido errores a causa de mal calculo del sistema y cuando escribía a support tardaban mucho o ni contestaban. Ni que hablar del customer service en español que ha bajado muchísimo de nivel. Decepcionada no, lo siguiente. No lo recomiendo actualmente y espero que todos los que he referido yo dejen de usarlo.

I have been using this software for as long as they started, but unfortunately I have to change since they have NO say, they offered me a lifetime price and they have been raising the price in recent years, finally last season I paid 100 dollars more and they lowered me to a lower plan . In recent years I have had errors due to miscalculation of the system and when I wrote to support they took a long time or did not respond at all. Not to mention customer service in Spanish, which has dropped significantly in level. Now disappointed, the following. I do not currently recommend it and I hope that everyone I have referred stops using it.MyTAXPrepOffice

We want to address your concerns directly and clear up some misunderstandings. As a Lifetime Price Guarantee customer, your guarantee was contingent on you renewing by April 15 of each year. For the past seven years, you have failed to meet this deadline, which voided your warranty. Despite this, we have continued to offer you a substantial discount. You currently pay $495 for the Individual Pro plan, which is regularly priced at $695, which is a savings of $200 and a 30% discount off the retail price. This price is still more competitive than other options on the market, even with necessary adjustments for inflation.
Regarding your claim about calculation errors, our software has gone through continuous improvements year after year. We have invested heavily in improving accuracy, reflecting the latest tax laws, and addressing user feedback, which is why most of our customers consistently praise its performance.

I have a very small business that I run for mostly family and friends and local businesses that ask for my service. I have found that the MyTaxPrep Office is fabulous for this business because I can do the taxes that I need to do, even out-of-state family members, without having to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for software to accomplish that! The ease of learning the system and their responsiveness to any questions that I had were amazing. Would highly recommend this software!MyTAXPrepOffice
