The customer services representative on 11/26 at gate 83 in ******** Canada is racist. She made fun of my English and nationality to her coworker. I will never fly air Canada again after how they treated me and my family.

Worst airline in the world. Book the fully refundable ticket and now they're just giving me taxes back. Call customer care five times and no one was able to give me the answer. Where is it written like, you have to pay the penalty, even in the LATITUDE fare.No reply in the email too.

Been waiting over two months with NO resolution to an upcoming flight. I called customer support and they directed me to a different team. That team directed me to the online airport. Online support sent me an automated message saying they cant help me. In my 20 years of flying this is the WORST airline Ive ever flown. Do NOT fly air Canada.

Air Canada is a joke when it comes to customer service. We got hung up on an d had to call back. we paid 300 for a flight and needed to change it and then they wanted to charge **** for the same flight. I called them out on it and the answer I got for it was the flight was just about full so why not charge people more money. I called again and asked to speak to a manager and they said they didnt have one on staff. I will never use air Canada again

Remarkably poor customer service. Our initial flight was delayed out of ****** for a "safety" reason. We landed in ******** and when we got off the plane, were handed ticket changes to give us a 3 hour delay in ********, send us to ******** and give us another layover there before heading to Milan. We got to the gate of our initial flight on time and tried to get our seats, but they had been sold to someone else as we were removed from the flight. In ******** we were told by Air Canada that we could not get on the flight as we did not have boarding passes and they could not give us boarding passes because we had not paid for our baggage. I showed them the receipts and was told that there was nothing they could do and they could not even open it up for us to pay a second time. The Air Canada people had me take all of our passports and go out through the exit, find the check in area for Air Canada and get help there since we were short on time as it took an hour just to get this far in trying to get our boarding passes. I ran the 20 minutes to get to check in only to be told that they could also not help me and it was not their problem so I needed to call Air Canada, they did not give me a number or anything just told me it was not their problem and that I needed to call and was pushed aside for the next person. I called the number I found online, only to be told that there was nothing they could do either. So here I am, stuck outside of security with no boarding passes to get back to my family and my family's passports. I was so frustrated that I cried. Finally some nice lady with a different airline helped me and took maybe 10 minutes to fix the issue and get me my boarding passes. By this time I had 40 minutes to get through security and to the gate. We made it, 0 thanks to Air Canada who was apparently content to leave us stranded in a country we shouldn't have been in to begin with as we made it to the gate of our initial connection to begin with.

The worst one to fly with!!!! I had a part of my flight Delayed by air Canada and due to that I had to re-purchase the rest of my flight. Air Canada took over a year to respond to me, and offered No refund, or any compensation. Absolutely worst customer service! What a waist of time and money, but lots of stress ???????

Awful awful. I was medical cleared to fly with my prescribed oxygen compressor. I even brought an extra battery for my long flight to ***** with air Canada. They refused to fly me home despite following all of the rules to travel with my oxygen. They forced me to purchase their oxygen which would take 3 days to arrive to *****. Didnt ************* for my inconvenience of having to stay in ***** an extra 3 days. Too made matters worse they over booked the flight. The huge oxygen remained under my seat instead of the seat next to me. I was In a very uncomfortable position for 8 hrs flight back home. An additional $700 was paid for the in flight oxygen. It should have had its own seat. It was huge! Shame on air Canada

Air Canada seems incapable of having a flight leave on time from *******. Usually our flights are delayed by a few hours. Our last flight on September 30th to ********* was delayed over 6 hours! The flight was supposed to leave at 8:30am, but did not leave until almost 3:30pm. Needless to say we lost our entire first day of vacation in *********. According to the air transportation guidelines flight arrival delays of over 6 hours should be compensated $700 per person. I wrote to Air canada requesting our compensation. Their response was they were going to give us a $300 ecoupon. This delay was completely within Air canada's control. They had so many flights going to ********* that day, that they did not have enough operating airplanes to complete all the flights. Something was wrong with our plane and we had to wait until an airplane came in from **** to board our flight to *********. This is disgusting that not only does Air Canada not care if their flights are on time, but that when they are clearly at fault, they refuse to pay. I have escalated my complaint to the ******** transportation agency. I suggest anyone experiencing similar problems do the same. When you have only 7 days of vacation, it is not acceptable that your airline can ruin one of your entire days! And then not give the compensation the law requires!

We have a very unique situation with our flight air Canada. My relatives has applied for eTA, because they visited ** from outside of Canada. We were traveling from ******* back to Canada, in eTA everything is approved by ******** government, however the crews at ******* airport on October 18 2023 4:30am gave ** a really hard time, they were not helping us at all, we showed them everything we got including ******** website showing approved and has showed my relatives passport number. The crews has told me they could not accept this information. They want us to apply for eTA again. We are trying everything we can and finally they agreed for us to board the flight. I have to say my relatives are legally allowed to fly to Canada, the flight crews should not give me hard time.
