I am sitting at ********* ******* Airport at 1:50 AM waiting for a connecting flight to ****** City. I started my trip in New York. First, my Air Canada flight was delayed 3.5 hours from ** to *******, therefore, I lost my connecting flight. The lady in ** said that I could get a hotel voucher here in ******* if I ask Air Canada in *******. First of all, I asked about 6 Air Canada employees how I could speak to Customer Service and every one of them sent me on a different direction. After about 45 minutes going up and doen the stairs and multiple counters, I asked the lady if she could help me. She said they don’t issue hotel vouchers for weather related delays. This was not a weather related issue at all. I showed her the message where it said it was due to not having enough aircrafts. She was so dismissive and rude, I was so disgusted. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they did not have one. First and last time I use Air Canada. The way I was treated was unacceptable. I booked this vacation since February and so far it is a disaster thanks to Air Canada. The plane leaves at 8:30 AM which is also delayed. Completely a disaster of airline.

We are long time Air Canada customers for over 60 years. But Their customer service call center is a disgrace, they are aggressive, rude, and lack understanding. We had a flight booked, reserved and confirmed, I contacted customer service because during the reservation online I had not been able to find the wheelchair reservation for my mother, she is a 83 year old senior citizen with difficulty walking, and also the email they sent ** had 2 sets of conflicting information, the *** had the correct dates, departures, arrivals, and return flight, but the other part of the email did not, it had the return flight on the same day as we arrive, so we contacted Air Canada customer, they said that there was a problem with the seating assignment on the return flight, and that in order to assign seats we would have to pay a additional $360 dollars for each person, to which we said no, we said just assign to us whatever seats that are available, they said no, you have to pay, we said we never had this problem before, that we would just accept whatever seats they give us, they refused and lowered the price to $280 dollars, again we refused, all the while with these people threatening to cancel our flight being very aggressive, and we saying dont cancel, me fighting to get a word in edgewise and make them comprehend, at this point I told them that if the problem was the seating on the flight back, to put us on a later flight, they refused, we then asked to go on a earlier flight, they refused, and then he said Im canceling your flight, Air Canada is going to issue a refund or voucher within 60 days, meanwhile we have to pay the credit card and have no money to pay for other tickets.Safe to say that after this is resolved we will never fly with Air Canada again.Sincerely disappointed customers.

Shame on you AIR CANADA! This is beyond ridiculous. Here is the story: "I travelled to ****** to spend Xmas with my family after 6 years. I was looking forward for that trip after so long. With the snow storm on Xmas eve, we had the option to change our flight and fly 2 days prior to the original schedule. After 6 hours delay we finally got to our destination to find out that our luggage was stuck in *******. It took AIR CANADA 4 days to deliver our luggages. We had to buy clothes to be able to survive this 4 days in a very hot climate. I expensed it to AIR CANADA with all the information required and almost 3 months after I submitted my expenses they respond with this emails with empty apologies, saying"I am unable to consider your claim as it was submitted beyond the time limits. As stated in of General Conditions of Carriage, all claims for delayed baggage must be made in writing to the carrier forthwith and at the latest, within 21 days from the date the baggage should have arrived"." For the record I claimed 38 days after because I was on VACATION! We as paying customers should be reimbursed for all the expenses plus all the hours waiting inside the aircraft! We shouldn't have to claim expenses, claim for delays, this should be given to us as act of good faith and good customer service. ??

This has to be one of the worst airlines on the planet and is an embarrassment to Canada. The staff are rude and dismissive. There is no organization and no communication. I flew from ******* to *******. I had a tight connection so packed a carry on bag. At check-in I was informed I could not carry on the bag as the flight was full. I was forced to check it. Of course, there was a 30 minute delay departing that they did not explain. Then there was a 30 minute delay on arrival. The plane itself was old and delapitated. There was no wifi, TV, and the seats were extremely cramped. I had to run to make my connection. The next flight was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for over 1.5 hours. They did not offer water as we sat. They did not offer an explanation; the pilot said he did not understand the issue (very reassuring). Of course, my bag did not arrive despite them having an extra 1.5 hours to load it. The level of incompetence and negligence demonstrated by this airline is staggering. Please do not fly with them.

Avoid this pathetic outfit please. Booked the trip (Canada-******) well in advance to avoid "complications" re connections. After the booking Air Canada kept changing my flight details.. until I ended up with a flight that I tried to avoid in the first place. ??Joke is on me. How does 12 hours of overnight waiting time sound for a flight that takes only 55 minutes?Called customer (don't)care and of course there is nothing they can do to fix this.

It is a poorly managed airline. The *** must be horrendous in management. They make it difficult to contact them, with deadlines that cause you to pay fees.It is surprising before, during and after COVID they are still that horrible.A shame for *********.

I don't think I will use Air Canada anymore. I booked an international flight with them, and paid a few hundreds for preferred seats. The flight was cancelled by themselves a few days later, they did refund the ticket, but won't refund the preferred seats payment, saying it's non-refundable. That's ridiculous.

Terrible service. If they could just learn to acknowledge the experience of the passenger it would go a long way to soothing the resentment felt by the majority of Canadians. * *** **** *** **** ******** *** **** ******** ******* Have been repeatedly burned but am forced to use them sometimes due to my rural location. Terrible monopoly.
