      After a wonderful 2 week vacation in western Canada, all our memories were spoiled by west jet . We were held up at the wrong counter in the Calgary airport June 26th 2023. After running to the right counter to get checked in , we were told we were 9 minutes late and were not getting on the flight . The tickets were booked thru Expedia and the funds we paid are gone . I asked for a manager , 20 mins later a manager shows up . I was told all they can do is book a later flight and purchase a new ticket. The original agent had a smirk on her face and took pleasure in saying NO . As I walked away my girlfriend noticed they manager and agent were having a nice laugh at me behind my back . After checking all the other airlines, there were no other flights to *******. I was forced to spent $1300 to get home and take a loss on the original. Amazing how this airline ruined the memories.

      Absolutely terrible airline for comfort or customer service. I didnt realize I was flying with them because I booked through Delta. Just pay any amount of money to use another airline

      Be aware! they ***** *our money without any services.In Feb 2022, WestJet kiosk attendant didn't allow us to board our flight and their reason suggested external cause without disclosing or assisting us to get the reason. After contacting their customer service for every week after the un-flown flight, they never returned our money not even portion of it. They treated us like criminals and wont refund our untravelled trip back.I don't even want to give them a one star.

      Flew from ******* to *******.Over 45 min sitting on the runway due to some sort of baggage issue.Bags needed to be re-screened?Flying is already uncomfortable and stressful. Thanks for making the situation worse...Just found out we won't make the connecting flights in ******* due to the delays. And because this was an "airport" issue, and not an airline issue, no help or compensation. They told me I'm responsible to go find and pay for a hotel.And then left me standing there.Just took a rental from ******* to ********.I paid this company money and they did not provide me with what I had paid for.

      WestJet customer service is horrible. As a customer you will be treated as an inconvenience by the majority of their staff. We get (customers) it delays happen, however, a little bit of empathy and compassion goes a long way. I would like to strongly encourage you to provide enhanced customer service training for your staff.

      They are so greedy about baggage fee you end up paying more than you think . Customer service at ******* airport was terrible . I will never fly with west Jet . If you want to enjoy your trip never travel with West Jet

      Such a disgusting airline, we have booked our Flight with Westjet, i booked in Novemeber last year for my upcoming trip which is on may long weekend, and i called expedia today and found out they cancelled it without any notice and now i am just getting a ticket refund i checked alternative flights and they are showing 5 times higher the price .. DO NOT BOOK WESTJET EVER!!!!!!!!!I dont even want to give them a 1 star

      ************ Terrible customer service. We paid for seats months before we flew. Just before boarding they informed not asked that they had moved our seats to row in front as they put someone else in our seats. When emailed they said that we had purchased a preferred seat and that is where they moved ** too. The row before is right behind business class so you have a curtain right there, less storage under seat for the aisle person and the tables are in the seats so if a bit larger it is tight. That is why I purchased behind. When requested wheelchair at airport when left it took forever to get and then we requested at arrival we waited until everyone got off plane but no wheelchair showed up. We should have just got off when able and held up all those behind. Terrible service. Will just go with cheapest airline now they are not above any other airline now.
