I am not liable for this debt with *****. And I do not have a contract with Met Credit, I had written a letter to Met Credit requesting the original contract be sent to me. But I was never provided with the original contract as requested. I have never had a account with the original mentioned creditor. I am receiving messages, both voice and text, from an entity claiming to be Metcredit that I owe $ for a deceased person, this 2 years after the person died and all items for the deceased were settled. This is BEYOND upsetting. I do not owe money nor have I received and notice in writing of such and therefore demand an explanation for this harassment and resolution to cease. I am rejecting this response because: you have not informed me in writing, you have not even told me who your client is, and that is not the correct spelling of the deceased person further leading me to conclude this is bogus. All items and accounts attached to deceased were settled and closed in accordance to proper procedures. Met credit has called my place of employment three days in a row and multiple times. This is extremely unprofessional and my personal credit challenges should not be communicated to anyone but myself, especially any of the five ladies that answer the reception phone.Business Response

As stated, there is no record of the debt they claim I owe in my credit history. I am rejecting this response because:
I will try to make this as short as possible but I dig into the situation and I still don’t owe that amount to **** ** and let me tell you and prove you why and I will ******* mention that I did respond to a message from met credit regarding a cheaper offer to this debt that’s assigned to me. Let me explain the situation and I will get to what my respond was to that offer.so it all started from having a account with ***** with two phone lines. ***** has kidding me a credit of $200 and for months my two phones would actually cost more than this amount. They credited to me so every month and sometimes even more and once they would suspend my service, and at some point, I just got tired of it… I have hair all proof that my payments were all done at the right time and then in May 2022 I had a conversation with ***** about closing my accounts because they were abusive and what they charge and couldn’t give me a bigger credit so basically I was paying double if not per month, what I initially would pay… and It was very unfair from them, and I have every proof of payment here, and I also have my credit report which shows enough that my payments for all done until I stopped using their service which I did call to tell them to close out the account and they never did today’s date so it’s showing as missed payment, and that affecting me to create opportunities, basically at this moment I am a homeless person that makes good money that needs to travel from hotels to hotels and **** ** that should have a close my account when I ask for it should’ve stopped charging me because I don’t owe that amount. If anything I give them even more than what I owe them from suspension of service when my bills were always paid at the time.
There’s also I believe another company that is harassing me for payments from ***** and I explain the situation and I got no reply so I do know for a fact that I ask those two companies including an met credit and I even called ***** to send me a confirmation of cancellation, and also to provide to me proof of usage document my original contract that I signed for with them my bills and my payments to see if all is accurate to my receipts of payments and bills, and they completely refused saying that they cannot do that. I even recorded, but can I use this as proof I guess because I did not mention I was recording, but I did.
Today’s date I see that this account is still open and they said it wasn’t but on my credit record it says that I still have the account opened and I asked to be closed in May 2022 or the latest start of June 2022. I got a bill from *******************************
claiming i owe 3155.06$ that was in December, so it’s two different companies that clean different amounts for some thing that I actually closed but the original creditor decided that giving me problems and putting my credit score down would be more satisfying for them. It affects need to find myself a home. My credit was going good from my young age and I worked a lot for it for now having to fight some thing that I took the responsibility to close out because it was too expensive due to unfairness of how they proceeded with me and the extra charges they were giving me every Months.
So again, I am not liable to this debt from *****, and I did not sign a contract with anyone else then ***** and I do not even know that amount to them. I will attach some folders with this if you can provide me my other documents that I mentioned before that would prove everything but I think my documents says a lot thank you and have a good day. I would like this whole thing to be deleted off of my credit score and my credit report.
