      We had Telus smart hub, our location is technically rural but a very populated area. It worked okay for the first month or two, but progressively got worse, to the point that I couldnt even stream a single song, answer or make a phone call or send a text. I complained several times, the customer service was usually nice but their fix wouldnt last more than 30 minutes. Finally fed up I got starlink, paid my final bill and called them to collect the equipment on our roof as I was not able to. It was impossible to cancel, sending me from person to person. Finally they said I needed to pay for one more month, which I had not even entered and their service didnt even work. They did not hold up their end of the bargain. Now they send collection notices for me every couple of months, because they did not come to collect equipment. I paid someone to take it down for me and sent it in. I still get messages asking me to pay my bill. Will never use Telus again, they are useless.

      Their support is astonishingly bad. It took me several hours in different chat windows, and several failed verification texts to transfer a number, only to be told that I had to either pay for more calling minutes to call a different support line, or take an hour round trip to the nearest Telus store to sort the issue out. Aside from this issue, I have had several issues in the past that were a complete pain to deal with. I would give them negative stars if it were an option.

      I have been on the phone with telus for 5 hours today trying to get a problem resolved (which still hasn't been fixed) and have received the whole run around.. worst customer service i have ever experienced. Will be leaving telus all together and advising others to do the same. Never had such horrible service from a phone company. Wish i could give it 0 stars out of 5 >:(

      Telus does not keep their word regarding cell phone contracts. Despite having in writing a specific cell phone contract, we have been forced to pay significantly more than was agreed to keep our phone lines in operation. The sales person who we did our initial contract with is unresponsive, Telus has kept us on hold for hours before we have been able to talk to someone and then they have no authority to resolve the issue. Individuals with the authority do not return emails or phone calls. It is disgusting that they can put people into this position, not honour their agreements and have the ******** to keep billing us many times over the amount that was written into the contract. And while they say they will respond and review the situation, and have admitted that our contract is solid, they do not honour it. Absolutely terrible business to deal with!

      Telus added their "home security service" to my account (which I didn't request) as a "promotion" I could not opt out of when updating my online contract. I was then charged ($30 per month!) for the service. I have also witnessed numerous occasions of unethical practices when dealing with low income/vulnerable customers (urging them to add extra unneeded services).

      Telus salespeople will lie directly to you. Either instructed to do so, or because they have no clue how their actual offerings ******* NOT let them do a 'soft credit check', it is NOT soft, but a hard check. Do not believe what they tell you about their 'plans', you will find out later it was lies :(Fifteen year customer who have had such astoundingly bad service recently that I no longer want ANY services from the company. I can no longer believe anything they tell me.

      How about no stars! Always difficult to talk to someone. They call back and am to press #one to chat and it does not work so they hang up on me. Pressed "one" several times. This is just the latest complaint.....have had so many dealings with them! Changes to my account, added costs, wrong account, no tv reception....on and on.

      Telus complaint April 30, 2024 a salesperson came to my mothers door in ********* BC and talked her into switching from **** to Telus. She told her the price would be cheaper, the service better and everything will be looked after. My mom signed a 3 year contract. The equipment arrived, and a service person came to install it. 1. *********** tech would not set up her bedroom tv. The daughters tried but had problems. After many phone calls, they finally sent the service person again. 2. The home security system needed a camera doorbell installed which was not done. On follow-up on Oct 30 to cancel this monthly $20 charge, was told the charge for cancellation was $290 ($10 a month).3. With ****, she had free cellular phone service. We found a bill from ****** for over $100, and this cost $160 to cancel. She wasnt using the cell phone. 4. No one mentioned shed need to pay to get out of her **** contract, this cost $700. This is elder abuse, preying on a vulnerable senior. The salesperson ( contracted by Telus? ) did not help after the contract was signed.

      I have been dealing with TELUS for more than ten years. The problem I have had with TELUS is LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. The last set of problems is my Monthly Internet Charges have been increase for the last two months with no explanation or reasoning. I have tried to deal with them by phone (hours at a time) and also via email (numerous emails over the years) but no response to my questions. They just keep billing me for a not agreed amount.****** **********
