******* company, horrible customer service.Called them to move my services and I was informed there is no 1Gbps optic fibre service at the new location. They offered a copper connection, 50mps up 2mps down which according to them "should be good enough for my use". Asked them to cancel my contract since they can't offer the same service level at the new location. They said I had to pay an early termination fee, whatever, charge me. Asked them to cancel at a specific date so I could still have internet at the old location before moving, they didn't like that I didn't take the garbage service they wanted me to sell me and cancelled my account that same day. Ended up cancelling my phone lines as well, don't want to deal with that garbage company anymore.Telus

Telus provided the worst sales support to upgrade our phone and plan. On hold for over 6 hrs today getting passed around from one **** to another. A little back ground here, my wife and i are a corporate mobile plan, the service and communications we have received over the past few years on a scale from 1 to 10, i would give it a -5 (where 1- bad and 10 is great). Today was the end of the line, when we attempted to upgrade our phones and plan, could not get in touch with the Corp provider for Telus, so we decided to call Telus and cancel our participation in he corporate plan and revert back o a Consumer Plan, where can go into any store ha sells Iphones. We were bounced around on Telus, from small business to corporate and then to consumer **** for about six hours today, talk about passing the **** and/or they are terrible a servicing the customer, especially since we were speaking to customer service in he *********** and each **** sated we need to speak to another..... can you say run-around. I have never experienced this much frustration before from a customer facing business. After the six hours and a huge dose of frustration, a digital voice over stated that I have exceeded my time on hold and disconnected .the line. As you can imagine i had a few choice words that were spoken very loudly! This was my third attempt today to get my phone plan moved from Corporate to Consumer, as i phoned back the fourth time to the ****************** as there was no way I was going to get through on the Consumer TF number. The ** stated their office is now closed. Thats it, i am cancelling my Telus mobile accounts for my wife and i and finding a new mobile provider. TElus does not even deserve a bad review as they are worst in servicing their customers.Telus

1 starWhen I originally bought my security system It was from a small company. They assured me that I would get good service and the equipment would be looked after until the end of the agreement. I also noticed in the agreement that ****** used a Telus system so I told him I was not interested in having Telus in my house he assured me that they would look after any problems. Telus sent me a new agreement with some changes like for example they would not look after the equipment that I have as it was not up to their standards. So I tried calling Telus and getting no where I feel that this is why I dont want to do business with Telus and never wanted to do business with Telus in the first placeReview fromAhmad Z

They do not honour their contract. They have you talk to them online when something is wrong with the bill. The bill itself is confusing. When talking on the phone, you stay on the line for hours to resolve simple complains about bills. And it always blamed on their system, as if the consumer has anything to do with their system.Telus

Worst service ever. I had to cancel my home wifi and they bothered me 15 times making sales pitch and what not. All the while they kept charging me. I have called twice to sort the billing and it's a month later and they have charged me twice. Worst service in the world. Go for anyone but Telus.Telus

Absolutely terrible experiences with Telus. This last experience was not just a matter of ineptitude, but completely unethical. We moved into a new location and attempted to transfer our Telus services (including home security). The earliest appointment I could book was three weeks after move... pretty brutal in this day in age, but I accepted that this was the reality. The installation required new fibre line to be ran to the house. This wasn't supposed to be an issue, as the access point for the street was on our property anyway. Day of the appointment, Telus employee informs us that the line wasn't ran correctly... and we had to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment after the problem was resolved.I promptly cancelled my services and signed up with a different provider, who was able to provide service within 3 days. Then I was hit with a ~$750 charge due to breaking the home security contract... But I broke the contract due to Telus's INABILITY TO FULFILL THE CONTRACT!!! Lack of customer service is one thing. This is disgraceful management of business.Telus

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Every time THEY make a mistake It takes hours & sometimes days to get customer support. IF you get to speak to a human they have to transfer you to someone else because you were transferred to wrong ***** to begin with which means you dont get to speak with anyone again. Majority of the time the person who eventually answers the phone cannot understand English & is not legible in English language. Makes a person want to commit suicide because of the frustration involved.Telus

I JUST SIGNED UP WITH TELUS FOR TWO CELL PHONES BECAUSE MY COMPANY,CITYPHONE WAS CLOSING. I WAS WITH CITYPHONE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND NEVER HAD A CONTACT WITH THEM REGARDING MY ****. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE SINCE I MOVED OVER TO TELUS. IN MID NOVEMBER. I WAS OFFERED A PLAN FOR TWO PHONES FOR $75 A MONTH. WHEN MY FIRST **** CAME IN JUST TWO DAYS AFTER I AGREED TO THE CONTRACT, IT WAS FOR $341.17. AFTER A WEEK OF GOING BACK AND EVENTUALLY TELUS LISTENING TO THE ORIGINAL PHONE OFFER TO ME, MY **** WAS REDUCED TO THE $75 PLUS TAX. ON NOVEMBER 5TH I PAID THE $84.00 ****. I THOUGHT AFTER A REAL ROUGH START THAT ALL WAS WELL AND I WOULD CONTINUE ON AS IT HAD WITH CITYPHONE. MY NEXT **** JUST CAME AND IT WAS FOR $126.01. TRY TO FIGURE THAT??? THE **** SAYS THAT THERE IS A $0 BALANCE CARRIED OVER. HELP!!! I CANNOT RUN LIKE THIS. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH TELUS MOST DAYS. I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH OVER****ING FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS. MY QUESTION IS: CAN I CANCEL MY CONTRACT BECAUSE OF FAILURE ON THE PART OF TELUS TO HONOR IT????? WHAT CAN I DO???Telus

Yes, I would like to ***ly. I did receive a call from a Telus *** who said he was from the ******************************** He said that he had been asked to check my account and fix the problem. He saw that one of the discounts hadn't been applied to one phone and he brought my bill back to the $84.00. I explained to him that I hadn't signed up for a myriad of "discounts". I had been offered a two year contract. He checked again and said the best he could do was to guarantee my bill until the end of August when discounts would run out again. I said that that wasn't good enough. IN THE END HE TOLD ME TO JUST READ MY CONTRACT. Apparently it doesn't matter what offer you get on the phone or when you get your written contract, it's just what the contract says. I'm sure I didn't even get my written contract until after I had agreed to the offer and the phones were on their way. He said I had a two year agreement on the cell phones I recieved. but not on service!!!!!!!!!!! He said that there was nothing he could do about it. In the end he said that he would file this disagreement with the comment: NO RESOLUTION WAS REACHED. I HAVEN'T SEEN HIS REPORT SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID. It is, however, a sad state of affairs when you can't get a resolution to a two year mobility phone plan that you agreed to. I did contact ****************************** and they accepted my case. I was told that I needed to go into a TELUS store and explain my situation and give them my Anti-Fraud file number. I was also told that I would be contacted by someone from their ***************** (I am a senior citizen) to see how things were going. They said that I should be able to get a refund if no resolution can be reached. I am going into Telus today to explain again my case. I am expecting a follow up from the Anti-fraud Center this week. So, to others, beware of Telus contract offers. There are no two year contracts. All they offer is a rotating cycle of short term discounts and when they expire you will get a surprise on your bill just like I did.Review fromKevin K

Telus optik tv is full of bugs. The picture quality is just the same as ******, but Telus features are like clunky compared to ******., which is simpler in so many ways. You cannot just turn your tv on and go to a tv channel without going to a stupid Home Screen, which cannot be disabled. Then you have to navigate to tv. Some shows like *********** at 6pm seem virtually impossible to set up series recording, push record twice to set series recording and 2 seconds later the setting resets to no recording. There are just too many bugs to want to stay with Telus, Ill be going back to ****** soon despite my contract penalties.***** KTelus
