      TELUS agent told me to move to them and offerred me a 24 month free ****** plus . They kept charging me monthly I noticed only after two months. When I reported the case they just cancelled my ****** plus . It's fraudulent and frustrating . The customer serviced has been outsourced to people who barely speak English and do not know how to handle situations . The money is not much but Canada should have good business practices

      I had someone hack my Telus account, change my ******* password, and Telus refused to provide a passcode for me to get into it and said Id have to wait days just to get someone to contact me from tech support. Over fraudulent activity. I had to beg ******* to delete without the Telus code and they did and then changed my password, which resulted in ***** charge. Telus has paid me back for that. They have provided credits. But! I had a manager named *** enter my account without my permission. We had never spoken. I start receiving emails that my account has been cancelled. So I contact Telus support online and they inform me a manager is in my account (usually you do that beforehand).Anyways Dia gave me her direct line said everything was fixed and when I got off the phone, I looked online at my account. Shes added an extra Telus optik tv package. So I have one at $78 and one at $108. She refuses to return my calls, its been almost a week now. I have spent two weeks trying to get a hold of her or anyone who cares. She also cancelled my *** . So I cant make any changes to my account as Im supposed to be dealing with her and she just will not speak to me. I thought she did me a bunch of favours but I feel like Ive been scammed by this company. I am cancelling as soon as I possibly can get the funds , which really ****** me off considering how much I love Telus tv. But if Im gonna be screwed around by MANAGERS IN RETENTION then what do you do? You go back to ******.Ive written a long letter and im ready to send it out to the media. I wont be paying this months bill. This has been a waste of time for me when I need to be currently looking for work to pay your bill when Im not even getting the service I need from you. I have never felt angrier but I now understand why everyone says stay away from Telus.

      Awful customer service the worst of any phone or internet company. They insist on using an automated voice system and make it extremely hard to get to a real person. It takes forever to solve your issue this way especially if it doesn't fit perfectly into the prompts. Finally when it said it would transfer me to a team member, it then said sorry call back tomorrow the offices are closed! Which, on top of being extremely annoying, wasn't even true! They just opened at 8am why didn't it tell me the office hours instead? So infuriating.

      I switched to Telus 2 years ago and I have had nothing but troubles with Billing system and the resolutions of that billing. Every month is a new invoice ranging between $90 and $176 with no explanation. When reaching out to the company, I have been on hold for 1 hour (my lowest waiting time) with no change. One billing cycle will be reflected on the invoice and then the following month, I am starting all over again. I too, am in the industry of "service" and "customer satisfaction", and I would never ask my clients to handle complaints, or to remedy a billing query, over a text or a website. I would soon be out of business. No resolution is ever achieved, or it certainly hasn't been for me. What is does is wastes hours of my time only ending up having to call, wait, and do the cycle all over again. Only to be "heard" by an agent that has no power or authority to make a change. Yet, my credit card is charged monthly with no accountability for the service provider and their ever changing fees. I wonder why they are no BBB accredited? I am tired of the uncertainty of billing and I am definitely shopping elsewhere now. *. ********

      Terrible customer service. There is no problem upgrading online but heaven for bid you have to change or want to cancel any services. You get the phone loop run around and hours of wasted time with no results. This country needs more competition as there are not enough choices.

      Incident occurred on August 27, 2023In July, 2023 TELUS offered us a smart senior medical alert pendant with GPS function and provide Cantonese speaking communication for our elderly mother . On 28th August, 2023, My Mother carried the pendant device having a lunch in ************************** ************** ********. About 12 Oclock, a TELUS representative called my mother in English. My mother answered I dont know English. Then the representative handed up the phone. The TELUS representative call ambulance to my mothers home in ********. Because there is no one at home at that time, the firefighters pried open the door then the door was broken. My parents spent over $2000 to replace the door. when we accepted this product, the requirements were Chinese speaking and GPS positioning function. Since TELUS product does not has precise positioning , Resulting in the forced opening of the door at my elderly parents' home by fire department. The case has been escalated to the claims department. So far no compensation has been made. no any feedback about the claim

      * Waited on hold for 1 HOUR 15 minutes, told I'd get a a manager, then was hung up on * On hold for 20 minutes, told to go to a physical location * Physical location told me to call * On hold 20 minutes, but call dropped as offices rolled timezones * On hold 17 minutes, dropped * On hold for some time, told I'd get a manager, waited on hold again (hour total this call) then told I couldn't continue the call without an active account number Never again

      Why is it that a telecommunications business is the worst at communicating! My business relies on the internet for sales. And it has been down now for 48 hours waiting for a technician. The earliest was confirmed to be here between 8am or 10am. And if I am not here to welcome them I get fined $200!. I brought my manager in to be here with me to help with the trouble shooting. But the technician doesn't turn up. And we get no phone to say they are late. Nothing....maybe either get a phone or some manners or both!It seems that Telus doesn't care that we are losing money by the minute. If they did care their actions would reflect it.And, of course, its a Friday and we make 80% of our sales on Fri, Sat, Sun.Very unhappy customer of so many years! *******
