I have accessed customer service many times to resolve a problem I am having. In total, I have been put on hold in excess of 3 hours. Problem still not remedied. Lack of technical support will definitely have a bearing on my renewal once my current contract expires.Telus

CUSTOMER SERVICE: GOD AWFUL I've beven paying my full bill every month, but received a letter in the mail saying my bill had yet to be paid since we started our plans (2-3 month's prior). My internet had also suddenly stopped working (Which I assumed it had been cut off when I receieved the letter, but later discovered this was not the case, and that it had quit because of an unrelated issue...) I phoned them to find out why this letter had come, but when I explained to them I had been paying every month, and my bill statements were showing they had all been accepted on Telus's end, they told me I was mistaken. Of course when I told them I would screenshot my bank statements for them, they told me I couldn't do that as there was no where to send them. The first person I spoke to was zero help and INCREDIBLY frustrating, wouldn't transfer me elsewhere, so I ended up having to hang up and call back to speak with someone different. After going in to the Telus store (who technically cannot even help with non-mobility related services), and an entire afternoon and evening spent on the phone with them, they were finally able to figure out that the bill payments had somehow been going into a closed account. They told me they would transfer the paid funds, to cover the current "unpaid" bill. Fast forward several weeks... My internet is still NOT WORKING. Bill still is claimed "UNPAID", and another SEVERAL HUNDRED $ have been added for a recent alleged "alarm installment" that certainly never occurred! I have phoned in several more times now, leading nowhere. This last phone call was directed to the WRONG department, only to have to go through the issue's entire explanation, just to be told I had to be transferred to the correct department. They transferred me... "TELUS IS NOW CLOSED." **DialTone** !! SO FRUSTRATED! I'm receiving letters, emails, and texts telling me my services are about to be cut off, FOR SOMETHING I'M PAYING FOR, and have already dealt with!Telus

"I've been a Telus internet customer for over 6 years. Recently, I received a call from what seemed to be Telus customer service, thanking me for my loyalty and offering Telus home security at my current rate. I agreed, but the next day, I discovered that my contract had been altered and my email address changed without my consent. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed that someone named ****** had made these changes. While I'm okay with adjusting the contract for the new service, changing the contact email address should only be within my authority, and no representative should be able to do so without my explicit permission."Telus

I have requested Telus put me on a no call list at leas half a dozen times. They continue to call. I mention this to the caller and they hang up or swear at me. I get calls at least once a week and always from a different number. When I try calling that number back it is not in service. What kind of people are they hiring and what kind of business are they running to allow their employees or whatever they be continue to do this. It has been going on for over a year!Telus

I've never been lied to and ripped off like this before it's mind boggling. In sales your company can lose it's sales license if you lie to get sales. They completely lie about all the prices to get the sale- then bill you for completely different numbers. They push so hard to sell you on the *** eventually even confirming it would be FREE in desperation. Obviously I won't decline it if you say it's FREE! of course the bill comes and it's certainly not free. I tell them to cancel TV immediately and take it back - They confirmed it's cancelled twice- Nope, of course still being charged. They said it would be 80/month- Nope bill comes 95/mo + TV charges + random fees. They said 100% there will be no activation charge when I moved to a new apartment. Oh what do you know- $60 charge activation. Who would have guessed?!Telus

I have an internet service (Telus 50). On April 16, 2024, Telus suddenly disconnected my internet service. Later that day, a Telus customer service told me that it was the back office "touched" my profile and made it disconnected. But after the connection was resumed, the speed was around 20Mbps. So I had to call again, but technical support told me that due to "technical limitation", 20Mbps is the highest speed I could get for my address. Then I was told that the Loyalty team would call me at 11am next day. But no one ever called!On ***************************************************************************, based on my address, the highest speed available is 150 Mbps -- why the Telus technical support lied to me? Since then, it's been almost a month that I am offered at a 20Mbps while paying for Telus 50!! Today, I am still struggling to make multiple calls, explain, and wait for their help!! HORRIBLE !!Telus

Well, I had a Koodo phone on a 2 year plan. I set up a direct payment for them. I discovered I was in arrears by a couple of bucks so I kept changing the amount I paid them but I was still a couple of bucks in arrears. I moved into a condo and the phone didnt work inside the condo and I was back in arrears again. I went into ***** and cancelled my contract and paid what I thought was every cent I owed them, but ***** would have none of that so they sent me an email starting I owed them $16.78. I called them and they told me that when they cancelled my account they had made an error in calculating the tax owed. They zeroed out my account but that still was not enough. I received a letter stating to pay your bill today to avoid being referred to a collection agency. this will negatively impact your credit rating, THIS IS ALL BECAUSE THEY COULDNT ACCURATELY CALCULATE WHAT I IWED THEM WHEN I CANCELLED MY CONTRACT. GO TELUS!!!!!!So one would think Telus would be more competent in other areas but alas they are not. They were supposed to come and install a **************** monitoring system for me. I was going to have to wait for 2-3 weeks to get it. Well, the day before it was to be installed, they called to say,they didnt get the necessary equipment and they would call me back when the got it and set up another appointment. They did not do this, however they called one day when I was out, to say they wanted to install it that very day. They left me a number to call them back at to arrange this installation. I called the number and gave up after being on hold for over a half hour. I left a message. I had to wait for them to get back to me. I was back to the bottom of the list. I would be a few weeks rendering it useless for my monitoring program. My nurse cancelled it.Telus

I will never use Telus again, since renewing my contact in September I have gone through 4 cables box's for our livingroom and am now being sent a 5th. After the 2nd box I asked if they could send a technician and I was told I'd be charged for this service. This last box I called and I was told I'd be sent another box, I waited a week and called again, I was told they didn't send the box but would be sent for sure this time ASAP. Well after the courier "missed me" and left me a note to pick up when I was home all day was another annoyance that has happened before with Telus's choice of courier. I set up the new box and low and behold it doesn't work. I call again and I'm told I was sent the wrong box. I will forever bad mouth this company but I could change my mind if they'd cancel my contract for free.Telus
