      During the month of December 2023 I spoke to Telus loyalty agent to discuss my plan and get better rates as I was offered much better price from competition. However the agent I spoke called me back and offered me a total discount of $25 on personal family account but to my surprise I received a bill in January **** with hike of $30 on the account. I called the loyalty department and they refused to make any changes under the plan is changed and the discount which were being offered earlier are not available now. I am going to move my mobile account to the competition. As I am getting much better deal which is almost 30% cheaper than the amount I was paying earlier.

      Do not trade in your phone with Telus! We performed a trade-in early December, and we have received zero response from Telus on status of the trade in. I am afraid my old iPhone is now lost and I am out hundreds of dollars.Timeline: - Nov 16: ************** activated. As part of the agreement, I am trading in an iPhone 11 *************** with an estimated trade-in value of $330 - Dec 4: Device shipped via *********** with tracking number. According to Telus: "You will be notified by SMS when we have received and assessed your device - this may take up to 4 weeks after you ship in your device."- Dec 7: *********** delivery confirmation, with receiver's signature - Jan 4: Called Telus to ask for status of trade-in. Was told they have no control of the process and cannot help. Customer needs to email ***************************** support separately. Emailed telustradein support - no reply as of comment posted date - Jan 9: Emailed telustradein support to follow up - no reply as of comment posted date - Jan 15: Posted topic on Telus forums: no updates as of comment posted date. - Jan 15: Reached out to telussupport via X - was told they cannot help, and they send email to agent who assisted on the phone - no updates as of comment posted date.- Jan 15: Emailed "redditsupport" - No response as of comment posted date.By searching for "telus trade in no response" on ******* there are definitely others out there.At this point, I feel like I have been scammed by this Telus trade-in. The lack of transparency and response is absolutely appalling for a company as big as Telus, especially in the year ****. I would rather get my phone back now instead of continuing with this process.

      Been trying to get my services moved for a month now.... spending 2 plus hours a day on the phone with them, for them to say there is an error and they will get back in 24 to 48 hours!!!This is beyond frustrating!!!I haven't has service for 2 weeks now, yet they want me to pay the bull for service!!!

      I wish I could give them zero stars. As soon as they start getting your money they drop they ball and provide terrible service at every single step of the way. You struggle trying to get resolution to any problems because the robot on the other end of the line doesn't understand what you're trying to accomplish. Every time you have an issue, big or small, it take an hour to even talk to someone.

      This company is horrible. My optic box died 2 wks ago and they still haven't delivered the replacement. I have talked to 3 different people and still no cable box. How difficult is it to replace a cable box? If you want consistent service then don't do business with Telus. They won't even offer you a discount for not having cable! You have to ask for it. It's ridiculous. They make a mistake and the customer suffers. If I could give them a 0 star I would.

      I had ADT security, and my contract was sold to Telus. However, the services I had paid for didn't work, and when I reached out to Telus for support, I was told they couldn't assist because the equipment was from ADT. I was given two options: either cancel the services and pay an early termination fee or sign a new contract with Telus, as their equipment could be supported.I argued that if Telus had bought ADT, they should honour the services and support I had paid for. It seemed unfair that I was being told to pay for services I couldn't use and wasn't supported, but I was told I would still have to pay a cancellation fee if I broke the contract or signed with Telus. Despite my reservations, I did sign a new contract with Telus, but the services still didn't work. For example, I couldn't monitor my children playing outside using the doorbell camera because the screen was black. I tried to power cycle the device and troubleshoot the issue, but nothing worked. I'm tired of contacting support for ongoing problems.

      Telus is the worst! I have had several issues with them this last time I used their mobility services.The first issue I had regarding a credit on my account. I was told I would receive $10 off my bill for 6 months. What happened instead is my credit was first taxed then applied to my mobility fees then taxed again. So instead I had an $8.80 credit. That seems like text-book bait and switch scamming of customers. There have also been four times where I have travelled and received roaming charges automatically. The first time it happened I hadn't used data, used my device to make calls, or send messages. I strictly used Wi-Fi only. I called and they credited my bill for the following month, but I was told I still had to pay the fees for that month it was billed. I refuse to pay for services I do not receive. I did not pay it and received late charges to my bill. I had to call again to get it reversed. I travelled two more times out of the country. By the third time, I stopped calling and only started paying my mobility services I was using. The last time it happened again I was charged for roaming while I was still in ******. I am simply not going to let a company abuse me as a customer like this. It is unfair to have customers wait for hours, and to expect them to pay for services that they are not using. What's awful is they would sooner cut-off your service than to just call you and see what's going on. It has been months and no one has tried to reach out by calling, maybe leaving a voicemail, or sending an email. Every contact point with Telus is fully automated, unless you are prepared to call and waste two to three hours. They could even help folks out if they had live chat, but instead they have an unhelpful FAQ chatbot. I think they really are the worst company. They do not deserve the star I'm giving them.

      Ive been with Telus for my cell phone provider for years and they consistently change my plan pricing and add fees. My data went over even though I have 120GB of unlimited data and my phone stops working completely and when I call because its never been an issue they tell me its my fault and I will have to wait 8 days for my phone to work again with no reasoning why my phone isnt working. Just that the data went over because its my usage They are extremely unhelpful even to a loyal customer and the service staff are exceptionally rude when you try to get to the bottom of things. I wont be going back to them as a provider once this phone is paid out. Such a horrible company to deal with.

      Have Telus business internet go out 6 days ago. They tell me they can't get a tech out to fix it for another 3 days. Unacceptable. We have no internet or phones. Cannot take payments, receive phone calls, all our data to work is cloud based. Might as well shut the door and go home. Telus needs to hire more people especially to support businesses that rely on on their service to conduct business.
