      Frustrated with Telus's Fee for Standard Customer Service I've been a loyal Telus customer, relying on their services for both mobility and utility. Recently, I faced a disappointing situation. I needed a referral letter for ** ***** to confirm my on-time payments over the past 12 months. Telus offered to provide this at a fee of $15. This request isn't just for a document; it's a one-page summary, more practical than merging numerous detailed e-statements. The fee for such a basic service, which essentially repackages information I already have access to for free, feels like a misalignment with Telus's customer-first values. As a longstanding customer, I find this approach disheartening and contrary to the expected service standards. I hope Telus reconsiders such policies for better customer satisfaction.

      My experience with Telus has been disheartening, and I believe it is essential to bring this matter to the attention of Telus's head office and potential customers. On September 26, 2023, I signed up for the new building promotion, as presented to me by your salesman. During our conversation, I was assured that I would have a one-month trial period without any payment obligations. The salesman explicitly stated that there would be no cost during this trial period, and the only potential charge would be for the modem if not returned. Following his advice, I decided to give the service a try for a month. Before the trial period ended I canceled the service, during the cancelation process I was never informed of any additional or service charges. The only thing customer service told me was that there would be a charge if the modem was not returned and suggested shipping it out the modem as soon as possible. Understanding that, I returned the modem as soon as the service was canceled. Later, I was surprised to receive an invoice for a service charge that I was never made aware of during the initial discussion. This service charge was applied without my acknowledgment, causing significant confusion and frustration on my part. Upon contacting the Telus customer service department, I was provided with an explanation that I needed to pay for the service no matter what. It was never informed me and I never agreed to it during the signup process. Despite my efforts to clarify and resolve the issue, the response was unsatisfactory. Although a discount was offered, it did not fully address the discrepancy between what was promised and what was ultimately delivered. Furthermore, I was given a verbal assurance that there would be no extra charges if I changed my mind during the trial period. Unfortunately, this promise was not honored, leaving me feeling ****** and dissatisfied with the overall experience.

      I was with Telus home security and they switch the company. I kept paying for the other company for over 10 months. They said they were giving me a refund the overpayment then cancelled it. I had to recall to get a new payment and they still havent sent it to me. You dont get any notification if someone walks past your house or comes up to it. The service is useless. The customer service agents dont help at all. They have over $900 of my money and giving me * *** ****** to get it back. Dont go with them for home security.

      i have business phone line and it was renewed under my old company without my knowledge and now they not willing to give me any option. they issued 2 phones under me and my husband name and now employer is out of country old office is not co-operating ,i want to keep my same plan with separate business account which is under my name. No-one really co-operates from TELUS, keep telling me talk to your employer. why should i ? i waited for the due date and called them they renewed without my knowledge and not giving me any option. really really frustrated and upset. if i could rate 0. or even less .

      My account number last four numbers are *** ***** *** ***, in case you "unable to locate an account with TELUS that matches the information you provided in your review", how convenient. Telus' customer support is non existent anymore. It is allegedly ********** ** ****** and none of my calls regarding failed channel 336 (****) was addressed properly. Telus is accepting payment for this additional channel, but is not providing access to it, ** ******** ******** ** ***** Briefly about Telus customer support. Technical support by "Walter" lasted 2 hours, and as a result, there was no record of this call, no promised new digital box sent. Customer support by "Rizaly" lasted one hour, and as a result, no technician was send to my home, and no promised credit of $20 was given. Customer support by few other representatives lasted for hours, with no result. The last call today was not efficient as usual, gave no resolution of failed channel 336. I will wait for the result, if the Telus "team member" added to the system my waybill number, as I returned old and long time outdated digital boxes to Telus. I am expecting with fear that this information will be lost as the rest of my requests, and I will be charged for returned already equipment. Stay away from Telus, there are too many red flags!

      I cant believe that Telus cant provide fast forward or reverse on their tv remote. They try to sell themselves as such a great service provider but so many times they drop the ball.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never left a review before but because they are so awful I just had to today. Services cut off due to an unpaid bill. We were 100% unaware of it. Apparently we had a home service from a second account that we were never sent an invoice for either digitally or via paper, nor showed up on our MyTelus App. We kept getting asked for an account number and they wouldnt understand that we dont have an account number because we were never made aware of it until cut off. Eventually account number provided but no invoice showing service ever produced. Instead it was written off. I still dont comprehend how they could say they didnt have an invoice to provide. I am 100% convinced there was an error on their end where another account became affiliated to us and thats why they wont show us anything. We are responsible people with great credit scores so please understand I am not some person complaining without due cause. Also spent close to 6 hours in 2 days on the phone with about **** transfers and half of those transfers were them saying they were transferring but then the call is disconnected. I never once yelled or used bad language. I am actually shocked by not only the horrendous customer service but the lack of accountability. Having to repeat yourself over and over because they just transfer you to get rid of you. I took my own recording of one of the calls. The voice memo is about 90 mins long and once I figure out where to post it to, I will do that as they need to either shut down or completely overall themselves as a company. In that one call I was disconnected twice and transferred 4 times. Hands down the worse company/customer experience of my 35 years. Oh and P.S our service is still shut off! Please to the person reading this, do not go with Telus. This is all under my husband and I know he will be leaving as soon as possible I left about 8 years ago, go with ****!!!! Or literally ANY OTHER COMPANY EXCEPT TELUS.

      Hello, we had a 3-year contract with Telus Internet and security system for our non-profit organization, recently we got a notice from the city we have to move the place because of the Zoning, we called Telus, but they are not tolerating and asking for full money rest of remaining contact.

      Less than a star! I have tried to close an account of my Telus home services for over 8 months now. I have phoned six times to cancel and they are always nice about it and say their not sure why I keep getting billed and they zero it out then guess what another bill comes again and it builds and says I’m gonna lose services and it will be affecting my credit rating. I phone again they zero it out and say they will keep looking into it and nothing happens it’s just a vicious cycle over and over again resulting in me calling over and over and waiting on the phone! I haven’t checked my credit lately but I swear to God if it’s negatively affecting it I’ll be so mad!

      Avoid Telus at all costs. Unbelievable bad customer service. Multiple hour waits every time you need to call support. You'll be juggled around between departments no one knows what they are doing or will be able to help you.
