I have been with Telus for 20 years I think. They were charging me for roaming charges into the *** even when I wasnt there. They refuse to reverse the charges. I will be changing providers.Telus

Very inferior equipment so my laptop pulls up all the surrounding internet but not the one for the house and the filippino tech wanted to say it was the laptop that had just been connected in a rural area with inferior internet, and 4 other houses. The internet on my desktop drops every few minutes From boxing day to and including December 31, 2024 I tried to order an iphone 16 plus on line and renew my expired contact. It brings up Iphone 16, not iphone 16 pro each and every time so I have not been able to order on-line, Multiple calls made each day to get a manager to get the order through yet they refuse to get a manager on the line. On December 30th I was advised that someone would call at 3:00 pm to help with getting the order through online. No call came, despite ******* home to ensure I was available. Again, multiple calls made on December 31st, no phone. SO NOW ALL BUSINESS WILL BE MOVED FROM TELUS, I WILL GET MY PHONE WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY, MOVE THE INTERNET AND NOT DEAL WITH IT DROPPING AND INFERIOR EQUPMENT AND SPREAD THE WORD PUBLICALY SO OTHERS WILL BOYCOTT TELUS AND NOT GO THROUGH THE FRUSTRATION, STRESS AND DAYS OF LOST TIMETelus

Absolutely disgusting response. I have spent many hours and day contacting their customer service number to try to get a phone purchased. If they think I will spend more time, particularly after having been told I would receive a call at 3 p,m on November 20th to get assistance with placing the order for a new phone (iphone 16, not 16 pro kept attaching to the order I was trying to place so I could not proceed with the order)/ but after ******* home for the call that had been arranged, I did not receive a call. I will not waste more time, go througn more stress and frustration trying tor each Telus, dealing with foreigners who lack communication skills, intellect and skills because Telus is about profit, not service, which is why people are posting about their Telus internet dropping and lack of customer service. If ********************** does not contact me to get the new phone ordered, this matter will end up in a lawsuit as I will not pay the buyout amount on a **** phone I have hated since I received it. TELUS NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS, UNLESS THEY DO STOP USING SUBSTANDARD EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE REVIEWS ABOUT ********************** IS DEPLORABLE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO FIX PROBLEMS SO PEOPLE ARE HAVING TO RESORT TO FILING LAWSUIT. SHOULD I HAVE TO FILE A LAWSUIT, IT WILL BE SHARED INTERNATIONALLY SO PEOPLE KNOW TO BOYCOTT TELUS. The worst customer service experience. Outsourced agents; fine, but on average it takes 1 hour to reach a service and then they will redirect the service to another agent and eventually your call will cut as time is finished Telus as a service provider is the loser and I'm switching it because of their worst attitudeTelus

Our past substandard experience with Telus Communications Inc started in November 2023 lasted till October 2024. Experienced faulty / interrupted fibre optic cable services with malfunctioning modem, made few modem replacements with no improvements in TV reception. Finally decided to cancel the2 yr contract, paid penalty for cancelling the contract in October 2024. On 11 December, 2024 received a call from collection agency for collecting $194.95 which we paid immediately. When we closed the account in Oct we discussed penalty and outstanding $ amount owning to close the account. There was no communication after the end of October2024 with Telus, only in Dec 11 we were contacted by collection agency.
Buyer be aware, and stay away from Telus Communications, we personally will not have any future dealings with them, period.Telus

Telus is customer service is horrible and unprofessional. I was on hold for ******************************************************************************** and hang up. I always see extra charges on bills for on demand movies that was purchased under my account. Last night I called them AGAIN, because I noticed an extra charge for a movie that I didnt ordered. When I talked to the tech support, I asked him if can tell me what box was the movie was ordered and he couldn't believed that order was done under a different box. No can explain why it happened. And even if I already made a complaint, they still want me to pay for it.Telus

Why as a Canadian have to deal with foreign agents who have no clue about client respect. I have had an ongoing issue since June of this year. They signed me up to personal home internet and said rest assured which is their motto that I didn't have an existing service for business well it turns out I do. Had no clue because it was supposed to be done. I haven't got a bill for it until recently. And I told them I didn't want to sign up as my town was getting upgraded to Fibre. Fell on deaf ears because 6 months later I'm being told I signed up for personal internet in July. So double billed and double angry now. Why can't I speak to someone from ******* who doesn't say rest assured!!!Telus

Absolutely horrendous. I had to yell at a poor customer service agent because they wouldnt cancel my service without (literally) 45 minutes of them trying to get me to lock in for another 2 years. The agent obviously wasnt allowed to help me until the tried everything in their playbook. Getting a hold of a real person also took me three days of trying.Then they turned off my service 2 days before I asked them to.Telus

Telus has no respect for its customers they falsely advertise their roaming charge includes calls made to ****** and yo other phone numbers in the country you are roaming but they charged me $147 for a 42 min call made to ****** while roaming in *****. On Oct ***** 25 they charged $16 each while there was no activity recorded in the **** for those days. Made 2 calls 1 hour 22 min calls and one online chat through their MyTelus App and explained the erroneous roaming charges several times and on the two occasions customer service transferred me to no less than two different teams and they dropped my calls on the two occasions while keeping me waiting with no resolution to my issue and no explanation why TELUS would charge roaming against their roaming policy. **************** made ***eated mis statements that the $147 was for a long distance call made from ****** to ***** despite me saying that I was travelling I ***** on that day as my tickets prove and despite the fact that under the charge my **** says I was calling from ***** to a Canadian number in *******. I recently joined Telus because they sold me a fantastic discounted plan over the phone only to find out they charged me the full price and had to make 6 calls with 4 hours wasted only to be told that the sales *** made a mistake, in the end had to switch to an alternate lesser data plan just to keep the discounted rate. The rip off roaming charges though are what made me regret leaving Koodo because Koodo whom I was with and offered the lowest roaming charges experience but switched to Telus because of a better plan.Telus

I have never had more issues sending something back. Unfortunately I was a victim of fraud. Luckily I caught this before much damage was done. As a result of this fraud I am needing to return a brand new phone and have been attempting to do this now for over 3 weeks. I have called in 4 times, to the dismay of having a ***** minute phone call. They are supposed to be sending me a "return label" ( which I haven't received) in 3-4 business days. In today's technology I've never had to wait 4 business days to receive a return label. How on earth is this eve possible! I called in again today - and reminded them that *********** is on strike so they said they would send me a Puralator label. This also has not shown up. I also can't return it to a telus store - as this would be the easiest. This is the worst customer service I've ever had! If I could I would leave this review zero starsTelus

I am appalled by my experience with a marketing representative who called me last evening about promoting their offers. My fianc and I were unsure at first if it was a scam or not as we get many calls from different companies promoting things. This representative started throwing out bold accusations and was incredibly rude as we were asking questions and unsure of what the catch was. He was very rude and pushy and tried to guilt us which is a tactic of many scammers. We said we were not interested after experiencing his unprofessional behaviour. He then proceeded to call us back after we hung up the phone and harass us and I asked to speak to a manager and he said that that was not possible. We then tried to call customer service and the automated message said it would be at minimum an hour wait to speak to someone, but if we were disconnected they would call us back and we were not called back. I have had no problems with ***** before and have been a loyal customer for many years but after this harassment and mistreatment from their representative from their marketing team calling us, I am now considering changing providers.Telus
