      ******** ******* ******** ** **** ******* * *** *** *** * **** ***** *** ***** small print on every claim that they want you to call in before.. sorry I don't even know all the questions to ask to make sure it would be covered.. she said I have to call in - the detail restrictions of each service are not listed online- and no one I can talk to about that- so once you pay for a service is * **** ***** if you will get the pay out... had to call twice about this and over 30 min to get to a person each time.

      Possibly the worst of the worst of the worst companies out there. They make it exceptionally hard to get any money from them!!
      I have a claim that is approved and should be reimbursed but has been tied up in processing and review for five months now. I have spent more than 15 hours on hold waiting over an hour each time I call.
      Someone has to investigate this and do something!

      If I could give less than 1 star I think I would. *** ******* *** ***** *** **** **** ******* ****** ** ***** ****** * ****** I have insurance coverage I’ve paid for. Everything is in collections due to a lack of predictability, three years disabled and a total of one year waiting on money to arrive. My case worker doesn’t respond to emails or calls so now after months or trying to be patient and understanding I’ve hit my limit. They cut off my income in May because while they request information from doctors they aren’t paying for the work done. What ends up occurring is requests go out when I leave for the appointment, no one pays for the paperwork being filled out so the doc doesn’t respond. I have to make two appointments, one for my medical and one to do the insurance companies job or picking up paperwork. ********** ******* ***** ***** ****** ***** ****** * **** ** * ******* ***** *** **** **** ********* ******** ***** ****** ******* ***** ******** **** ***** *** ** ** ***** if they actually answered the phone or emails so I could figure out how to move forward

      One claim, 25 email string, sending information 3 times, getting different agent names responding asking the same questions, promises of 3 to 5 business days to respond, 72 hours should have an answer....I mean it is been months since the claim was submitted. Their website suggests that they are behind in processing. In fact one response to an early November request for information on my claim the agent responded with October 19 claims where being covered. My claim was long before that date and here we are in mid December, still no answer.

They make excuses why your claim is not being processed. They are rude, disrespectful and condescending. Even their OBUDSMAN does not even call to assist you in the process. They don't care if it causes you under hardship getting your payment back. Eg. I had a 2 claims that totaled to $******* due to surgery due to a condition my daughter had. 5 months later still not processed and too many excuses. All documentation in order with receipts
      breakdown and letter stating why the surgery was required. All on letterhead, stamped and signed Very unprofessional behavior.

      They take your money but never really give you the benefits. **** *** ******* ****** **** **** ********. Despite paying for your plan, and having 100% coverage, they keep rejecting your claims. Making every single claim is a pain. I hate their services. I have been on call, holding for my turn for at least 1.5hrs and yet to speak to a customer service representative. How is one supposed to avail their benefits if Canadalife continues to behave this way? **** **** ********* ********** ************ *** ****** ********** ****. Since they aren't planning to refund your money anyway.

      * **** *** *** ******* ********** *** since the PSHCP switched to Canada Life, it's been a nightmare. Very long delays to get claims processed *** **** *** ******** ** ***** ****** ***** ** ******** ** **** *** ******** ***** ******** *** good luck trying to contact them. Their people on the phone often have no idea how to help you. If you need a private insurance plan, run away from that company. ************** *** **** ** ******* *** ***** ** *** ********** *** **** ******* ** ***** *** ******** ** ****** ***** ** ***** ***** *** *** ***** *** **********

      Cannot get through to speak to anyone.
      Left my contact number no return call.
      Emailed them twice -no response.
      In the cue for 8 hours yesterday. Never got to speak to anyone.
      Left my number again.
      This is unacceptable!!!!

      Stay away from this company, **** *** ** ***** ********* *** *******. *** I am not sure they care *******  Websites don’t work as should, process does not work as should, call centre does not work as should. And they will pick any fine line in the contract to not pay you. Stay away. **** **** ** *** ** *** * ******* ****** *** ******* ******** **** **** **

      Waited for 1 hour and 25 min and was connected to an ***** rep who couldn't provide any answer and she tried to connect me with another department and dropped the call.
