      I been waiting to get my phone call since the 1 of September to get a delivery date, I'm still waiting so honestly I think it's a bad company that I hope I don't have to deal with in the future. My name his Brian

      This was the worst company to deal with. They delivered to the wrong address and took days to get it picked up and delivered to the correct address.
      Received two calls from the driver wanting to delay the pick up, why? Do their drivers make their own schedules??
      When contacting Day&Ross on more than one occasion, they didn't care about the poor service we received. I was told a manager would call me, and I never received a call back.
      Strongly suggest never to use this company.

      I have an engine coming out of canada to the US. Day & Ross just lets it sit on the dock for days until I call to see why it isnt moving. “That doesnt make since, its cleared customs and is ready to go” boom track says its moved to a new destination. Then it sits until I call again and then it will go to its next destination. It is currently at winnipeg where it departed 4 days ago. No updates, so I emailed them. All the sudden it departed winnipeg on the 28th which is tomorrow! Its a week late on delivery. Which was the 23rd. Im hoping things improve now the *** carriers now has it. Very disappointing, random tracking that is days behind on where the item actually is. For the amount being charged youd think there would be some sort of professionalism and accuracy.

      After 5 missed appointments for pickup (NO-SHOW), i finally get a driver to come and pickup my costco return.
      On arrival, he says he can't pick up the BBQ (return) because it's not in it's original box. BBQ was bought 18 months ago and had major defects. Driver just leaves, no explanations, no follow up, just "sorry i'm just the driver".
      ******** company, i can't believe ****** uses them...
      AVOID AT ALL COST

      My Delivery date was initially set for 9 Aug.
      Tracking information indicated it arrived in Calgary on 11 Aug.
      I was not contacted to schedule the delivery (despite multiple follow-ups until 18th Aug) - and delivery date set for 20 Aug. I waited all day on 20th - and no delivery.
      Following up on this - I now hear that Day & Ross have to go back to **** to request that the delivery be upgraded from 1 man to 2 man delivery due to the weight. It took well over a week (and another 10 days in transit) for them to figure out that it is too heavy for a single person delivery - and then there is no communication from Day & Ross in terms of what is happening with the scheduled delivery! Their tracking system also leaves much to be desired - a little more information on why there is a delay would help! Very poor customer service and leaves a negative review on **** due to their association with Day & Ross. I am now waiting for **** response to upgrade to a 2-man delivery and then apparently will be contacted sometime for a re-schedule - so there is still no timeline for delivery and again have to postpone the installation.

      I wish I could leave no stars.
      Horrible customer service. People call you to ask for favor and start yelling at you.
      Very disappointed and ask you guys to never use their service.

      I wish I could leave no stars. I spent 8 hours outside waiting for my shed to be delivered to our property. The appointment time was from 11-3. At 5:00 I called to find out what was happening. I was told the driver was running behind and would be there soon. At 7:30 I called again and was told that no drivers deliver that late. So not only did this company waste 9 hours of my time, they made it worse by making me wait when they knew no one would be coming. My time is my most valuable asset. I took time away from my family and my business to be there within the delivery timeframe. They then added insult to injury by making me wait an additional 4.5 hours after I called to confirm they were coming. I feel worse than ripped off.

      If there is an option for giving Day and Ross no stars, I would have done so. I was originally quoted approx. $440 for a LTL freight shipment, but after the company shipped the pallets, I was forced to pay an additional $770+ for 'extra' shipping costs.
      The initial quotes were received with the understanding that there is little to no additional charges for splitting the shipment from 1 pallet to 3 different pallets, since the total weight was still below their quoted threshold. However, Day and Ross collections said the information given to me was incomplete or that I misunderstood their quotes numerous times online and over the phone.
      One of the pallets arrived at its destination with damages, but even with photographic proof and carefully listed information listing the damage and costs, Day and Ross claimed that they weren't responsible for them.
      They claimed that the receiver signed off on the shipment, and that they weren't informed about the damages, but how could anyone check if there were damages when they couldn't open up the boxes to check contents?
      I would advice anyone strongly to avoid this banana republic style company, and go with other more reputable shipping companies.

      I wished I had read these reviews along time ago. Yes they are a horrible company to deal with. You send in a BOL and they don't even use instead do what they want and then charge you an arm and a leg and nothing you can do at that point. Then they can"t even deliver the product to a location and want more money to hire someone else to deliver the product oh and you pay. If Day and Ross can't provide the service then they shouldn't be in business. Maybe hire some staff that have brains Funny thing is they picked up 5 items for me and managed to deliver 2 of them but can't deliver the other three which were the same as the first 2 they delivered. Needless to say I think I am done with dealing with this ****** company

      Have had two dileveries of the same item from day ross over the last 2 months. The first on was to be delivered in 4 to ten days. At 8 days I started to contact day ross and it finely moved from Calgary. It took till day 20 before we receive the package. At which time the boxs was crushed on one end. Shipping instructions we receive said it needed to be signed for and to reject damaged good on the truck. The delivery driver then pushed the package on are lawn and left. Saying to return it to the warehouse ourselves. When I got home from work it took a tractor to put the package in my truck to return.
      Order s new item from different company including a different brand. Got shipped with day ross again. On day 14 and Stull waiting guess I will have to chace this one down as well.
