      We purchased a ****** **** mattress from Sleep Country in 2022.
      We have always had ********* previously, to this one.
      I personally do not like the mattress.
      My complaint:
      We cannot get sheets to fit and stay on properly.
      I have to totally re-make the bed every morning.
      Sleep Country do not have sheets to fit this memory foam mattress.
      We have been directed by sleep country to Bed Bath and Beyond for sheets and they do not fit either.
      The salesperson at sleep country’s Owen Sound store’s response was, “that is why my wife and I got rid of this bed because we could not get sheets to fit”. That was a few weeks after he sold us this bed.
      I have phoned customer service and they told me to go to ******. I have 6 sets of sheets for this bed trying to get one to fit properly with no luck.

      Their customer service has not. been helpful at all.
      I don’t understand why sleep country sell you a bed and don’t have sheets to fit their own product.
      So frustrating and disappointed in Sleep Country Service.

      I bought a medium firm mattress that arrived frozen and extra firm. It was 33 in above the floor far too high for a 5ft3in 74 year old woman with osteoporosis. They were not able to fix the problem for a week but there is still a problem with the wa?rranty. How can prove they sent me the wrong mattress

      The following e-mail was sent to Sleep Country’s head office on January 4th. We received an auto response saying a customer service rep would be responding with 24 hours. So far we have not heard from them.
      On November 14th my wife and I visited your Langford, BC location and were assisted by a very knowledgeable and helpful salesperson by the name of Brandon Young. With Brandon’s kind assistance we purchased an adjustable bed complete with two bed frames, two mattresses, headboard and bedding. The total purchase price, including tax, was $6,522.90. All of the items we purchased were delivered on Dec. 10th by three young gentleman in a somewhat non-descript white box truck. They were very polite and cordial however they did not remove their shoes nor wore shoe coverings as they entered and exited our home several times throughout the installation process. During installation it was apparent they did not have the proper tools to preform the needed functions and ended up using some of my tools to make the job somewhat easier. Part of the installation was to attach the headboard to the bed frames. After considerable time spent by what seemed to be the head installer, there were multiple attempts via ******** to someone at Sleep Country to try and complete the addition of the headboard. After a while the gentleman advised he was giving up and that a technician would be out the next day to complete the addition of the headboard. Today is January 4th and we have yet to hear from anyone at Sleep Country.
      Although the purchase and delivery of the items were handled very well, the installation process left a little to be desired. We are somewhat disappointed that there has not been proper follow-up by Sleep Country and will take that into consideration when needing any future bed and/or bedding needs.

      The adjustable base I bought smells strongly like chemicals / glue. The smell is so horrible it’s giving me headaches. I’ve tried contacting customer service as well as in store however Sleep Country says due to their no return policy in bases, there is no solution. They said “the smell should go away.” So disappointing. Lost a customer for life.

      Hope you are well. Sorry to hear about the issues you are having. All products we sell are packaged and sealed by the manufacturer and is only unpackaged upon delivery to the customer's house. The odor should dissipate in a week or two. I would recommend having doors/windows open to airate the room. Similar to a brand new car smell, the odor should ease over the next couple days. We apologize for any inconvenience.

      It has been 2 months and the smell has not dissipated whatsoever. The smell is so intense that the frame is literally unusable. I am sleeping on the mattress on the floor to avoid having to be exposed to the strong chemical odour. And SleepCountry is offering no solution except to open the window. I'll never purchase anything from you again.

      I recently purchased a King size bed (two twin **) with adjustable base (Oct 25, 2023). One base was delivered with a damaged leg and could not be installed. The Delivery men told me they would probably just replace the whole base. Its been almost a month now and I've made over 8 calls to customer service and there has been no indication when the base would be replaced. Customer service advises they would call me back with information and never do. I've been too the store that I purchased the base and I was told the manager would get involved and correct the problem. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard from him either.       **** ********** ** ******* **** * *** **** ******* ****** ********** * ********* ***. Bed is 5 yrs old but only slept in for half that time. Noticeable hump all down middle. We tried 3 times to do the measurements they specified online to show the hump. Each time we apparently did it wrong and each time they gave the exact same instructions. Finally said get a technician in to look at it. And they charge $50 for that visit! Only to now be told it doesn't meet the manufacturer, *********, specifications for a defect. Disgusting. I climb a mountain every night trying to sleep and yet "there's nothing wrong". Do we have to wait another 5 yrs when we're probably tumbling out of bed to get a replacement? The technician even said that 7 out of 10 ********* mattresses have this problem. I will not, ever, purchase from Sleep Country again.

      We are very sorry to hear that you are having issues with your mattress. The warranty is provided by the manufacturer (*********) and not Sleep Country. There are certain guidelines that need to be met in order to be eligible for warranty replacement. For issues with sag or body impression, they require 1.5 inches or more. According to the in home inspection which was completed November 2023 by an independent third party company, the body impression measure 0.75 inches which is considered normal softening of the mattress. Sleep Country offers 100 nights of comfort guarantee meaning that if you aren't comfortable on your mattress within the first 100 nights, we can exchange it for you. Since you have had the mattress for 5 years, the manufacturer warranty applies. We can open a new claim in the future.

      After having a Sleep Country mattress for almost 10 years and being very satisfied my husband and I purchased a new mattress and remote adjustable bed frame from Sleep Country. Customer service during our purchase was highly attentive and informative. A couple of weeks of sore backs later we came into the store to exchange our mattress for a “more traditional” one. Customer service was poor with the salesperson interrupting our purchase exchange several times to attend to other customers who were looking at m’atterrisses to purchase.
      A few months after receiving our second bed
      We realized our bed was tilting to one side. ** ******* *** * *** ** *** **** *** **** *** ***** *** we lifted the mattress and upon inspection saw that the delivery person had not screwed in the legs properly on the frame and now they were permanently bent. My husband managed to screw one in enough to even out the bed.
      We went back to Sleep Country to get some help with the situation. The salesperson said the situation could be dangerous as the legs could give way and put in an “urgent” service request. Two months later and we have not heard anything.
      Our overall impression is that this company is literally “all over you” when you are interested in purchasing but after purchase, of there are any customer concerns you are pretty much ignored. So disappointed in this company.

      Two years ago we bought a mattress and a electric bed frame at Sleep country, Victoria, BC. We have 10 year warranty but with only 2 years old , mattress is sagging and is causing us back pain and not getting sleep. We emailed and provided pictures but it wasn’t enough for them saying it didn’t meet the manufacturer’s warranty . They will only cover 1.5 inches and over of impressions. Too bad! Obviously the bed is defective!!! is sagging and causing us back pain and not getting sleeps! Why do we wait until our back is a wreck??
      We are very disappointment with sleep country.

The warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the product (*********) and they have certain guidelines that need to be met before the mattress can be replaced under warranty. For concerns regarding body impression, it has to measure 1.5 inches or more. You submitted a claim in November of 2023 and according to the pictures we received the body impression measures about 0.75 inches. This is considered normal as all mattresses will conform to an individuals sleep patterns. In the future if the body impression is close to 1.5 inches, please contact us to open a new claim. We can also offer you a discount voucher towards a new purchase.

      I purchased a ***** Memory Foam mattress from Sleep Country I had high expectations for this product. But unfortunately after owning the mattress for a short time my husband began experiencing waking up with a soar back. After inspecting the mattress we realized that our mattress is sagging. I contacted sleep country and submitted a warranty claim. Much to my disappointment the claim was denied. Yet my husband continues to have back pain upon waking which we believe is directly attributed to Mattress sag. We purchased our mattress from Sleep Country as we were under the impression that Sleep Country took customer satisfaction complaints seriously, needless to say we are very disappointed.

Sleep Country provides a 100 night satisfaction guarantee meaning that if you aren't comfortable on your mattress within the first 100 nights, we can exchange it. Our records show that you purchased your mattress in November of 2021. We also see that a warranty claim was recently opened but the claim was denied as it didn't meet the manufacturer guidelines for warranty replacement. The manufacturer ***** requires the sag to be 0.75 inches or more in order to be eligible for warranty replacement. The pictures you provided which was already assessed by our claims department don't show any visible sagging. Unfortunately softening of the mattress is not a warrantable concern. We can re-open another claim few months down the road if there is visible sagging or assist you with a discount towards a new purchase.       ** *** ***** ***** ******** They have some fees they won't tell you unless you have issues with your purchase and then the stress begins. They insist that there are no refunds even if they made the mistake.
      On 07 Oct 2023, our twin and double ***** ***** mattress with box spring and foundation board were delivered. We had issues with the double bed specs which were 74.5Lx54Wx13.5H. Instead, we got 73.75Lx52.25W, height was fine. I had to purchase wood boards so that the box spring would not fall onto the ground because the width was too small. "Specifications" are not being adhered to.
      Both beds were too soft; after 2 days we went back to the store but told there is a 21-day wait for an exchange. ** ****** ******* ********* *** ***** ******** *** **** ***** *** not getting proper sleep. On 04 Nov 2023, we got an exchange BUT the dimensions for new box spring were wrong again and it was damaged. We called the store and were told that there is a size leeway, so why have "Specifications" if not adhered to? I do not think manufacturers have quality control. We now wait again for another box spring.
      We purchased ***** beds because the sales rep told us it was the best bed for our backs. We trusted his opinion and we listened. Soft beds are not for back problems.
      Delivery is not free. A $49.99 fee charged if the delivery person brings it into your home and removes the old mattress. It's called "green glove delivery". It's only free if they drop it in front of your home.
      The "100-day hassle-free" and a wait of 21 days for authorization will cost a $65 exchange fee.
      A 25% restocking fee was charged for my twin foundation board 2.25". It was poorly constructed using 1.25" sticks and cardboard, and it was a ***** brand, not *****. There was no demo of it in store so I trusted the sales rep that it was a ***** board and well made.
      Some delivery drivers don't treat your items with care, they basically drag and throw because they are on a time schedule.

The specifications are provided to us by the manufacturer as well and there is always a variance with the dimensions of +- an inch. No product will measure exactly the same and that goes for any manufacturer any product. We do have guidelines for our comfort exchange policy. We ask clients to try the mattress at least for 21 days as it would provide break in period for the mattress to conform to the client and there is a $65 fee associated with that exchange. Our records show that we are exchanging your double size box spring schedule for November 14th. There is also a refund due to you for $86 from November 4th which will be put back on your credit card. No restocking fees were charged to you on your recent exchanges. Please email me directly at ***************@************.ca with Customer#********* if you have any further questions.
