      Got Cogeco in late Summer.
      Still have never had verification email providing my monthly amount.
      Endless time to get through...
      They neither provide a proper monthly bill (nor can you get through to an agent)
      Just endless Spanish flamingo music.

      Terrible customer service. I signed up for a great deal to switch over my Internet and TV. The internet kept bumping my security system offline and timing out. I called multiple times to get help and constant holds. Then I got so fed up I cancelled and went back to ****. I tried to cancel online. Not possible. Had to call. Hours are weekdays to 7pm. I work week days! No big deal if someone answered but wait times were 45 min plus. Twice I got cut off. Today I finally got through after waiting 20 mins. I chose the disconnect option. She took my info and then said she had to transfer me to the retention line. Another 30 min wait. I do not recommend Cogeco.

      I just spent 58mins total on the phone with Cogeco. 42mins before speaking with anyone, ****** ** ****** ** ******* ** ******* ***** *** ****** ***** *** ** *** ** ***. I had to lock into a 2yr contract to get a deal during COVID. Since then they put the price up at least 3times. The contract wasn't up till March/2024. The gentleman spoke with me for 4mins trying to get information about my new internet service provider. Trying to offer me a new 2yr contract at $51, he also told me it would not go up over the years.
      I was paying $128.21 monthly.
      Now that I broke the contract they are. charging me $150 penalty fee.
      In my eyes they are a rip off & a scam!
      How can you charge $128.81 a month & then turn around because I want to cancel offer me the same thing for over half off just to get me to stay.

      ******* ******* ** ****** ** ********** ******** *** if you call to explain said horrible service they hang up on you. We pay for 300mbps line and 3/4 of the time can’t get 2 mbps. When asking customer support if you can actually talk to someone they don’t care. They also offer sign up deals to new customers but no promotions for existing users.

      ****** ** *** ***** ********* **** **** * *** ** ***** ******* Signal keeps going in and out and I keep getting messages on my TV while I am watching it. Messages like "Sorry, an error has occured, please change channels or try again later". It happens often and so during this time, I miss what happened on my show because I have to shut the TV and start again. That or the message is something about having to set up my TV, like why???? Now lately, when we start our TV is says we have to log in into account, so I have to put in password. This is something new.       Stopped service after promotion ended for internet service and returned all equipment with acknowledgment from Cogeco. They added a $75.00 charge for cancellation prior to end of promotion. First phone call, I was told not to pay the charge. Second phone call I was told it would be remove and asked for E mail to confirm. Told will do. Never happened. I believe upper management tells their customer service folks, just tell the customer what they want to hear. Cogeco has zero integrity to their customers.
      The $75 fee still shows outstanding on my current bill.

      ***** ** * ***** ** ****** ** *** *** **** ******** Basically doesn’t work every time I turn the TV on. Have to unplug the box…..then it works fine…..but it happens virtually every time. Cogeco……it’s 2023! This is the best you could do? ******* *** *** ** *** ***** ******* **** **** ****** ** ******

      My personal Cogeco rep doesn’t answer my calls. My bandwidth isn’t what I pay for. The internet is exceptionally slow and there are constant interruptions. My bill went up without explanation and no one in customer service seems to know why or could care less. Horrible service all around!

      This is the worst thing I have ever used. OI thought that being newer, it would be better than ****, but it is waaaaay worse.
      I hate trying to watch my TV now because it's a constant fight with this box. In three days, I've had to unplug it 6 times for it to reboot. I have watched a recorded show that ends prematurely and then you can't delete it. Rewind or Fast Forward are hit and miss.
      The absolute worst is that you can't search for a show and then tell it to record it. You have to find the show on the guide. If the show isn't on for a few weeks or months.... forget it.
      I had better systems 30 years ago. * **** **** * ***** *** * ******** **** ** *** *******
      After 35 years with Cogeco..... I'm getting out.

      We have had nothing but issues with Cogeco. They make it as hard as possible to pay your bill, and contact customer support, just so they can tack on late fees and extra charges. I had to go though hoops, and wait on hold for an HOUR just to speak with someone to cancel our internet. Currently on hold right now, because our final payment is 2 days past due, because the PRE APPROVED PAYMENT isn't being taken out. If you have automatic payments set up, should they not be taken out on time? * **** **** **** * **** to take payments late, if at all, if your company is supposed to be doing it every month.
