After inspection advised that labor charges are $255 and parts are $300 approx. He collected $ 90.40 as Service fee. He advised that call my office and they would advise you about the parts to be replaced. On the service report he does not write about the requirement of a part to be replaced. Filed a false report to his office. Customer Service agent is not ready to listen to any questions. When I called their office to inquire about the about, I was not that Technician has to visit again and would charge again for the Service visit. When asked to speak to the Manager, Customer service advised that Manager is not available and can not say when they would call back to resolve the problem. Till date no one called to resolve the issue. ***** **** *** ******* ***** ******** *** ******** *** ********** I need service fees back. ******* ** *** **** ********

      We called for a service repair on September 17/22. Our ** washer had a slow leak at the bottom. The technician came and said we needed a part to stop the leak. He went to his truck and brought it back and put it in. Then he proceeded to tell us that it did't fit well and he would have to order one. It was then I smelled something burning as if something had shorted. He said it was the old part. He quoted us 439 for a new part. We asked him why it was so much and he said because it came in a set of three. We didn't need the other parts. So we said we would think on it because we could probably get the part cheaper alone and he agreed on line.
      I asked him several times as long as I can still use it because I have to have a washer and he said oh yes... for sure it will just still leak. We paid him 316 for the service call and he left .
      The next day I went to use the machine and it didn't work.
      So my expensive working LG washing machine is now broken... after a 316 dollar service call. Again it was working fine before he came.
      I have called Customer service several times and I have gotten absolutely no where. The manager I spoke to today *** ********* **** *** ************** *** told me that once you take a part out of a machine it messes with the electrical and you need a new part in order to make it work so I have to pay over 400 to get it to work again...Yet... IT WAS WORKING JUST FINE BEFORE HE CAME!!!! .

      Company explained that a diagnostic fee of approx. $80 to provide a quote of service. Upon sending a technician to my house, they demanded $300 to do any work or to even provide a quote ***** ** ** ** ********** *** ****** **** ********** I refused any service and sent the technician on his way.       This company came up in a pop-up ad when I ******* a company ****** ******** ********* ****** that had been recommended to me. The technician came, looked at our fridge that was making a loud noise and assured me that it was an easy repair caused by the fan hitting a buildup of ice in the freezer. He said that he would fix it for $300. When we agreed, and I had signed his form, he asked for the money upfront and only cash or debit. I ********* paid $300 plus tax on debit and he went to work. Twenty minutes later, he told me that he actually couldn't fix it without replacing a much larger more expensive part for $1,000. It was a small, older fridge and I said that I could buy a new one for that amount. He assured me a new one would be $2,000 plus. I asked him to put it back together, as it was still cooling and our tenant needed it. He left several broken pieces of styrofoam and crammed it back together in about 4 minutes. I requested a refund of a part of the payment I had made and suggested that I would pay $100 for a 30 minute service call. He said I would have to call the office because he couldn't make a refund on his debit machine. He said to call the number on the form I signed - it was an unassigned number. I asked him to call the office, he said it wouldn't be any different if he called! I tried the "local" number where I had reached them first, it was busy. ********* ** *** ****** ** *** ******* *** *** ** **** ********* **** * ******* *********** * ******** **** * *** **** ******** I called the Toronto area office, finally got a person, and was basically told "too bad". I did not sign to say that I was satisfied, although he tried to convince me that I should. ***** ******* ** ** ** ******** ******* *** ******* He was only in the house for 35 minutes, part of that time was with me, asking him to wait while I tried to talk to the office about a refund. ** *** ** ********* ****** *** I am hoping for $200 of the $300 that I paid to be returned.

      We had a tech come out on 09/12/2022 to service our oven. They told us it would be 80 to look at it then what ever price to get it fixed. We decided to have it looked at. The lady came to fix it and tells us without looking at it that its the main board and main display. We are skeptic as she hadnt even taken the back plate off the oven. When she does she doesnt even unplug it to check it and spent most of her time playing with a battery. In the end we somehow get told its 320 for the diagnosis and that would include the price of coming back to repair. They wanted 1100 in parts and then i was told when i called to complain that it would not have included the labour cost. *** *** *** *** * **** ***** *********** ** ***** **** **** ********* **** *** ******

      Had an issue with my dryer, rotational issue it squeaked while rotating and has been getting louder. Had someone repair similar issue before, about a year ago, it was a bearing issue, needed replacement. I didn't remember who we used last time else would have called the same company back. So this time called someone new, the A team Appliance. They charged $80 to come out and determine the issue and provide a quote to repair, which I had no issue with because the previous company did the same thing, think that is pretty standard. The tech came to my house Saturday Sept, 17th around 4pm. He opened my dryer door, rotated it with his hand and said some type of rotational issue... Yes no kidding that is why I called. He then said it would be $280 and he will take it apart to see the exact issue, and try to fix now. Then he was very clear saying, if he needs a part and cannot fix today, I would need to still pay the $280, and purchase the part and he would come back another day to fix it. I said I would have no problem paying once the job was completed, but I'm not paying ahead of time. He said no it doesn't work like that. So I asked him to politely leave, he gave me the 80 invoice for the diagnosis, I said you didn't determine what the problem was I'm not paying for anything, he didn't even take the dryer apart to see the specific issue, like the tech did from the previous company did to see what the issue was. He then said they will send my invoice to collections.       July 2022 we reached out to Appliance Repair team to service our dishwasher as there was an error message. We cancelled the service within 30 mins of calling this company. They advised their was an $80 cancellation charge we had to pay. We advised we are not paying for a service that did not happen and a te hnican was probably not scheduled in that short amount of time over lunch hour. We have now received a letter advising to pay or they will send to collection and take legal action.

      The technician came to the house on the agreement to a min $80 service charge. The technician was present for about 30 mins. We had already removed the backing plate. After about 10 mins he indicated that the problem most likely was with the part in his hand which he verbally indicated he was going to replace. He gave me a price - $325 which he said could be paid in cash or debit - no credit card option. He had me sign for the quote - but had not filled in any of the paperwork other than price. When he was done he said it would take a few hours to get cold and indicated the compressor was 'weak' and should anything happen in the future, we should go to ** as it would be under warranty still. Then he had me sign that labour was complete. I asked what would happen if it did not get cold and he said there was a 30 day warranty. After I signed the technician filled in beside the $325 that it was labour after having indicted holding the part in question in his hand, that that was the part he was replacing.
      **** ******* ** ******* ****** ********* ** ****** ** ** ******* ****** ***** ******* ************* ***** ******* *** though their paperwork supports their charges, it misrepresents what they are doing, saying and promising while in your household.
      Considering this, we did call them and ask for the money above and beyond the $80 service call to be returned as they did not in fact fix anything or replace any parts, but they refused.

      To whom it may concern,

      I scheduled a service call with A Appliance Repair Team for a dishwasher repair. They said it was 80 dollars once the technician showed up to diagnose problem. My appointment was scheduled between 1-4 pm. They called me later to say the time frame had changed and to call them to confirm. Since the time didn't work I decided to cancel the service. That is when she said I still owed them 80 dollars. I refused since I cancelled because they changed the time frame which didn't work for me. Also, technician NEVER came to my door thus no service was performed. Now I received a letter *********** collections and court action if I dont pay a fee of 90 dollars. They are now calling it a dispatch fee. Not diagnostic fee. Also price went up from 80 to 90 dollars. I don't pay for a service that wasn't rendered! No contract was signed...EVER!

      We called this company to come fix our washing machine. On the phone, they advised that the technician charged a $90 fee to diagnose the issue, which we agreed to. When the technician came, he said that in addition to the $90 he required another $290 in fees that we needed to agree to before he even told us what was wrong with the machine. Since this is not what we agreed to on the phone with the company, we declined. He said the $90 was still required as payment. ** **** **** ******* ***** *** ** ****** ** *** **** *** ** ****** **** ******** ** ********* *** since the service we agreed upon did not happen, we want this money back. I attempted to resolve it with the company, but they were not helpful.
