      I call the business, I told them that my washing machine is giving me problems and am looking for someone to fix. The lady who answer the phone ask what the problem was, I told her my washer doesn’t go through the whole cycle, it stop and sometimes the power goes out , then you will have to turn on again to continue washing. She said to me it will cost me $80:00 and a technician will come do we made the appointment.He came and he said he diagnosed the problem and it will cost $607:54 I agree to that I paid half $303:77 he said he will Oder the part from ****** it will take a week I said ok, he came wth the part put in and he said it was fix . I wanted to see that it works, he turned it on and nothing happened for a while, he said it’s sensing , nothing happened, so he went underneath the washer and took something out and put back a part he went to his vehicle for.Then he said it’s done now , start up the washer again the water started to fill it looks like it’s going ok , he said he can’t wait for the whole cycle to finish I need to paid him the balance which he said he will discount me $20 for the problem not fix right away. He said I have 30days warranty.He left the washer was going through the cycle and kept going and going without stopping it’s just repeating over and over. I call the company to tell them it’s not working , within half an hour. The customer service representative said to me that I needed to pay an extra$1295:00 to fix the problem if I wanted her to order the parts! I said I just paid you , you said you fix the problem that’s not fix and you want more money! * *** ****** ******** ******* **** *** ********* ** ** * * **** **** *** ***** ********* ** * **** ** ***** **** *

      Oct 03 A Technician from "The A Team Toronto Appliance Repair Team" came and evaluated my dishwasher. I was charge 801.62 for parts and when the repair was to happen that would include labour. The company ordered the 2 parts required. I was told it would be 10 business days before the parts would arrive. I followed up a few times to try and get an update. Today on my 6th call I found out that they cancelled my repair since they could not find the "Door Unit" available for sale. They were going to refund me half of the total invoice and charge me a re-stocking and shipping fee to send back the part they did have since they cancelled my repair. I did not authorize the cancelation. The last customers service rep got me almost all of my payment back of $801.62, except $220 dollars which they called "Labour". It was a battle of phone calls trying to get them to refund me as much as they did $581.62. * ** **** ************ **** I'm still being charged labour when nothing was done to the unit expect the inspection which took 10 mins to do and was mainly filling out an invoice and setting up the debit machine.

      I would like the full refund of $801.62, not minus the $220 dollars they called "Labour". ******** ** *** ******* **** **** **** **** *** ********* *** *********** *** **** **** **** ******** ** *** *** ***** ***

      ** ** ***** ******** ******** *came from the company on OCTOBER 3RD on a service call for microwave repair.. After inspecting he mentioned a couple of parts were needed and that it was in stock and could be repaired and delivered in 4 business days. after waiting for about 8 days contacted them and was told that the parts were on order and I should call back later. They would not give me a date when this would be available every time I called . It was always the same answer. Finally on October 21 I was told that the microwave was in working condition and they were waiting for another part. I told them that as it was in working condition I would like to pick this up .I was told to come buy and when I arrived at the place on October 26 I was told that i should have come by appointment. I told that yes I did. However they said at 11am in the morning their lab was closed for the day and I could not pick up my appliance and was told to leave . * ****** *** ****** **** **** ***** *** **** ***** ** ** ** ** ** *** *** **** *** ***** A few minutes after leaving the place they called and said my appliance was placed on the floor outside the store at the back. It was totally dismantaled state and when I asked them they said no it was not repaired. I asked them for my refund of $990 which I paid on debit card , they said they will let me know. * **** **** *** *** ***** ** ********

      The service charged me $333.35 for labour which was not performed. All he did was diagnose the fridge issue which was quoted to be at $80.

      Service call-fridge was not cold
      Service tech came in and diagnosed. Told me the compressor was gone and I needed a new one.
      Told me 24-48 hours and they would be back to install. They required a deposit for the service call and compressor. $1250 was given. A week later I called. They told me the compressor was on back order. I asked for them to return my deposit and they can charge for the service call and they told me there was a restocking fee as well as other taxes and fees. I would end up getting less then $600 when the service call was $280.
      I called every two days for an update continues to get a run around and now TWO MONTHS LATER they still don’t have an update as to when my compressor will be in and continue to tell me I will be charged for restocking fee for a part that is not even in there possession and no eta on the part

      Amount of money paid: $271.20

      What the business committed to provide me: I was told that the repair to my dishwasher would be made that day, if no new parts were required. The technician told me that my dishwasher needed a new lock with switches. I was quoted $346.06. He did not remove the inner panel on the dishwasher to look at the lock and/or switches.

      What the nature of the dispute is: I was ********** ****** *** charged for a service that I did not receive. I paid for my dishwasher to be fixed during the visit (if no parts were required). I took the inner panel of my dishwasher when the tech left and all I needed to do was adjust the lock so the door would shut.

      Not only did my dishwasher not get fixed, which it could have been, because no parts were required to fix it, i was also told I needed to spend an additional $346.06 to make repairs that weren't needed!

      On October 11,2022
      A repair service person came out to my home and asked for cash up front of 80.00 to walk into my home to see the washer machine. He would only look at the machine and trouble shoot it . Originally it was agreed that the 80 dollars was a non refundable amount however if we choose to to accept the service we would have to pay it or an other option is if we agree to the service he will deduct the 80.00. We choose option one not to go ahead with the service. We received a call demanding to pay $290.00 plus HST . For trouble shooting out washing machine. I tried to resolve the issue and they did not want to listen and quickly dismissed me and told me they will send to a collection agency. They do not want to resolve the issue after I asked they to send me an invoice with their company details including the HST. But the did not want to do that. They expect me to pay blindly and pay.

      I was visited by an Appliance Repair Team technician twice in September to inspect my relatively new ******* dryer. On the first visit, we were quoted and charged for repairs to the control board and heating assembly. This total came to $536. We also discussed the pros and cons of repairing the dryer versus purchasing a new dryer extensively with the technician. Ultimately we went with the repair because he sold us on the warranty program and assured us that repairs to the same parts would be covered in the future. The dryer worked for one cycle and then broke again. The same technician came again, this time more than a week later because it was a warranty call, and again quoted repairs to the control board and heating assembly. The total for this visit was again $536.

      After weeks of negotiating with their customer service team, which regularly “dropped calls,” failed to return my calls and treated me with little respect, I came to an agreement with a manager to pay for the parts for a second time but at a discounted rate. I explained that this agreement was again conditional on a quick turnaround as i have now been without a dryer going on a month.

      More than a week has passed and today I received a call from the Appliance Repair Team. They informed me that their parts team was just submitting the order and will not honour the discount promised to me by the first manager, claiming that he was not properly trained for his role. Not only have they not submitted my order for over a week, but they are now quoting me an additional $800+ for the same parts.

      Hi,

      i placed a service call for a fridge that stopped working. When I called for service, they said they could respond in later that afternoon. After taking a look at it myself I was able to get the fridge to work, so I cancelled the call. A few weeks later I receive a notice in the mail with a notice of payment due. There was never a service call, no phone calls, one came to my home. I simply received this notification in the mail. Please advise on my next steps. I have concerns they will mess with my credit rating.

      This company quoted us on the phone that they would charge us $80 for our dryer repair diagnosis and then if we went further with the repair, that money would go towards the repair price. Someone from the company came today (October 7th) and took our dryer apart and then told us it was going to cost $280 before he would diagnose the problem. He ended up calling his boss for us and the lady on the phone said we were lying about the initial phone call and we'd have to pay the $280. We agreed to pay the initial $80 + tax to get the person out of our house but we want that money back ***** ** *** ********* * *****
