1 star********** *********** * ******** **********. Was assured of an experienced ******* Dishwasher service person to replace & install new soap dispenser. After about 20 minutes frustrated service person says he does NOT have the proper size screw bits !! Asks if I HAD any? Luckily, I did. He completes job?? 3 days later, I wash first load only to find water pouring out the door onto floor around 8pm. Called office immediately, said no one there, should take photos & email with explanation to warranty dept. UNEXEPTABLE. Said I wanted to speak to mgr. & told he comes in at 10am. 9am next day I drove to their office address (Connie Cres) on invoice & website. Found only a VACATED industrial building. Called office at 10am, repeated story & now told NO mgr. until noon. Asked for proper office address. Was told that's CONFIDENTIAL information & can't be given to customers!!! 48 hours later a lady rep. calls, asks me to repeat what has occurred and says flatly, everything I was told previously was correct & would have to photo etc. and deal with warranty department. By this time, I had chalked this up as an unfortunate lost $350.00 lesson learned and had another company redo the job competently. ***** ***** * ***** ** ********* **** *******Review fromNASIM M

1 star1350.00 repair failed 2 weeks after warranty of 30 days expired, no good will, not even a discounted return call - was willing to participate financially.
At time of repair tech broke panel and left it resting against kick plate, 2 minutes after he left it fell over, contacted company 3 times and always met with we can't see the broken part.
Tech drilled holes into custom cabinets to put dishwasher back in place and it wasn't even lined up - now we have holes were there are to be NO HOLES.
Promised follow up call at beginning of week by end of day still no call, gave them an additional 48 hours and the courtesy of another email and no repsonse -- **** ***** **** *** ***** **** **** * ******** **********Review fromArafat H.

1 starI called them for my refrigerator, and asked how much they will charged to see. They said it will be $80 non refundable to find out the problem. I agreed and they came next day but they were asking $361 to fix the problem after they arrive. I was not there at home, so we were communicating over the phone. I asked them I dont mind to pay, if it work. They said they are not 100% sure, but this is the only option they have right now. I agreed, and after 20 minutes the called me again that mother board need to replace, which will cost around $700. I have to pay half advance and the rest after service. So I paid half amont, which is $337. After almost a week they show up, but couldn't able to do anything, cause the mother board they order was wrong or wrong parts send by the vendor. Unfortunately they unplug everything including my microwave. I was at work on that time, and my parents called me about it. I called the company about this they said will bring the right parts. Ater that almost three week past nothing happened, so I called them, and they said no idea what's going on and asking for 24 hours to call me back. I wait nothing happened again ,and called them after 1 week, they said the mother board not fixable, and want to charge money for lab fee. I said you supposed to brought new mother board not to fix, but they don't want to talk about it. * ***** **** *** **** **** ** ******* ***** ** *******Review fromJohn S

1 starIve been scammed..
I spent over $300. For the technician to RESET the system less than half an hour of being in my home. Told me if it didn’t start cooling by the morning the compressor would need to be changed left an estimate of over $1600. Knowing a new refrigerator was would cost less..
The refrigerator of course is still not working - I’m out over$300 ** * ***** ****** for literally them doing nothing.

1 starThe technician showed up for the $80 inspection of my clothes dryer and after 15 minutes said the repair would be about $200,00 including $109.46 for the fuse . (the $80 was waived because we agreed to the repair). Fifteen minutes later the repair was done but the bill was now $385.85 (tax incl) including $269.00 for a total of 30 minutes of labour!
I complained, but he insisted the bill was correct.
I later found through an email response from this company that the retail price of the fuse is $19.50!
I sent a detailed letter to The A Team Appliance Repair by registered mail asking for a refund of $185.85. The letter was returned to me by ****** **** because the company had moved. I phoned the company and they would not give me either their new address or their fax # and advised me to just send an email.
I have received an email response from this company saying "no refund will be issued".

1 starOn Aug. 9th an Appliance RepairTeam technician looked at my ******* fridge. The initial quote was for $80 to do a service call. The technician informed me that to properly diagnose the problem, she would have to open the machine at a cost of $280. I agreed assuming she would be diagnose and repair the fridge. I advised her that the freezer compartment was working but that refrigerator compartment wasn't cooling although the fan could be heard running. She was unable to assess the problem and showed no understanding of that type of fridge. She did not attempt to access a ******* repair manual or even a schematic of the fridge mechanics online.
We removed the freezer cabinets and she then accessed the cooling system by removing a panel at the rear of this compartment. She concluded that the condenser needed to be recharged because there was no frost or ice on the evaporator. We explained that this diagnosis didn't make sense since ice wouldn't form on a properly functioning evaporator. Moreover she was looking at the freezer compartment evaporator which was working fine.
We initially suggested that there may be a problem with the refrigeration compartment fan. At this point she asked if we wanted her to replace the fan motor. When asked about other possible malfunctions like the thermostat or relay switch, she seemed to be confused. In response to a question about the relay switch all she could say was that the power supply to the fridge was working, not appearing to understand the purpose of a relay switch. She then asked us which part we wanted her to replace. She seemed to have no understanding of refrigeration.
She left after only looking at the cooling system for the freezer compartment and provided no diagnosis regarding the problem. At no time did she look at the mechanical system for the fridge compartment which was where the malfunction was occurring.Review fromJorge S

1 starBy far the worst service I have ever had. My fridge was diagnosed for a motherboard that cost me $1000.00. They had guaranteed that it would work. However, once it was installed, the fridge still did not work. At this point they now said it needed a new compressor which would cost me another $1400.00. Meanwhile, I was very clear that I didn't want to pay any more than the original price for it was not worth it.
Therefore, I decided I didn't want to put any more money into it and bought a new fridge. In the end, I lost my $1000.00 for the part they had installed and they gave me a poor excuse that " this is how they make their money.' I tried to talk with management but they never returned my calls. Not impressed and I will not be giving them future business.Review fromMary T

1 star** *** *** **** ******** **** * **** *** ****** **** **** ******* **** ***** I was told $80.00 for the visit. Within in a matter of one minute, my bill is now $295.00 for absolutely nothing. They removed the back panel of my washer, that's it! When I told them I wanted to see what I was paying $295.00 for, they packed up their tools and left. Lesson learned - ALWAYS check customer reviews! Unfortunately for me, the bank would not reverse the debit payment I made.
TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE COMPANY! ******* ******** *** ******* ***** Probably don't know how to fix anything!Review fromThomas Z

1 starWe booked an appointment for a fridge repair. The scheduled appointment for arrival from 9:00 to 12:00 am was later rescheduled to arrive between 2:00 to 5:00 PM the same day. In the meantime I was able to solve the fridge problem myself and I called at 1:00 PM to cancel the appointment.
I was billed $90.40 for the cancelled appointment. They said I did not call until 3:00PM and insist that I pay the $90.40. I refused to pay the bill as I feel it was unjustfied and phone records will prove that the call was made before the rescheduled arrival. In the meantime the bill has been sent to a collection agency, *** ********** ***** ** ******.
These people *** **** ******* *** will use any ruse the generate funds. I also feel that this unpaid balance should not affect my credit rating.
