      Absolutely appalling company. Came to fix a washer. Claimed to fix it, though technician said it needing $1200 + in parts. More than price of new washer. Charged me $327.70 to basically do nothing. No satisfaction from customer service. **** *** ******* *** *********** I have no confidence that the technician knew anything about washing machines. **** ****** *** * *** ** **** ** *** **** ** ** **** ** ****** *******

      I had a problem with a ***** dishwasher. Their rep arrived at my house and immediately said it was a circulation pump issue and it needed to be replaced. At an $800 plus cost. Instead of replacing the machine he insisted “you’re way better off installing the replacement part”. They insisted on 50% down payment with cash/debit the only option.Several weeks later the rep arrives with a replacement part and installs it. I ask that he turn the machine on to test it and he then says “oh you have to wait an hour before anything can ever be tested”. Already I smelled a rat but had paid the balance of their bill and was now stuck.The machine did not ever work at all. I called ***** corporate who sent out a representative and said there was never a problem with the circulation pump and that his diagnostic showed a completely different issue. The machine had to be replaced. ATeam Appliance never responded to any calls; ** *** ** * *** ********* **** *** ******** *********** ***** **** ******* ** *** *******

      **** ******* ** * ******** ***** I was told that the repair person would come to look at my washing machine and that the consult would cost $80. If I decided to go ahead with the repair this $80 would be absorbed by them. The repairman looked at the machine and told me it would cost $295 plus tax to fix with a possibility of further cost for parts, should the machine need any. I foolishly said sure. Go ahead. I was surprised when his partner came in with an interac machine and told me I had to pay up front before the repairs could be done. I foolishly paid. A very short time later I was told that he could not fix the washing machine, I asked him about the $295.00 plus tax ($333.36) and he said, of course I still had to pay because he’d done some work. He and his partner left with my $333.36 for less than an hours work and my washing machine still doesn’t work. I called their office and Mira told me she would look into this once she has spoken to the technician but she never called back. I called their off office again but “she was tied up” but would get a message to call me before she went home. She did not call. Deplorable!! This company really shouldn’t be allowed to continue to operate.

      Very bad service. They charged me $316.40 to look at the dishwasher (discovered water in the drip pan) and couldn't find the cause (didn't spend the time). They said I needed a Control Board for $640 (value $240 on line). The Control Board doesn't have anything to do with the leaking!! I called them and they say I needed a Water Belt for $319 including labour. I confirmed that this dishwasher DOESN'T have a belt - it is direct driven. They don't know what they are talking about.
      Just want money. They wouldn't connect me to the Parts Department to get more information. ***** *** **** ********

      Worse company to deal with! I have spent 800.00 dollars to repair this washing machine, 6 weeks in trying to fix this, $200.00!in laundry mat money spent while waiting for my machine to get fixed. I’m at the mercy of the company in when the repair guy can come in. When I said to the manager that scheduling should not be the issue with us but then, the manager Ella said well we didn’t break your washing machine!!! What kind of business is that!! **** **** **** *****

      The first thing to note was their are no names available for accountability, no business card given when asked.
      My 90 year old client was told to have $80 in cash available to give the service technician which we were prepared for but he ended being coerced into giving $4332.40 cash up front ...the whole amount! Or the icemaker would remain broken.
      I unfortunately couldn't be there for the appointment but was thinking if work was to be done we would at least find out the scope of it and go from there. What reputable company demands the whole amount up front in cash?
      I returned to find out my client was required to go into his safe to provide this amount of CASH to pay up front for the work, I immediately called the company.
      They had not heard back from technician but assured that didn't sound right. I called again later as suggested and still no response from technician (later learned his name is Tejbez or Tiez).
      I was told to call at 9:30 which I did and was escalated to supervisor Elona ...again no last names given but of course they have all our information and money.
      I requested the money be returned minus the service tecnician fee to be gracious.
      Incidentally the technician in his professionalism left the freezer turned off and everything was pretty much ruined.
      The supervisor said there will be a 15% restocking fee + the technician, even though no parts were ordered as yet as they had just done the call. Also that they would issue a check.
      So the cost for the icemaker service call was $1400 and a freezer full of ruined meat. So far.
      **** ******* *******.
      If the check is not received, I will be filing a charge of elder abuse with the police.

      **** ***** ********** ******** ********* Story - Dishwasher broken showing an error code. Technician arrived and stated he knew the error code and explained that there was a leak. He commenced working on the dishwasher. After he finished working on the dishwasher he placed the dishwasher unevenly into place with gaps on the sides and the top sticking out past the countertop on one side. He refused to correct the placement.
      He said the dishwasher "was fixed and if it breaks again you will need a part". My husband repeated, "the dishwasher is fixed". He replied "yes". He was paid $327. The technician left. The dishwasher NEVER worked once after his 'repair'. The company has stated that the part needed for repair would cost over $1600! *** ********** ****. He stated very clearly that the dishwasher was fixed and that IF it broke again it would need a part that cost $1600. He stated this after his work was done, after he said the dishwasher was fixed.
      Spoke with management after to inform them that the technician was not communicating accurately at all. Management stated that they will "back their technician 100%". ********* **** *****

      **** ******* ** * ***** ***** ***** ** *** ****** Called A Team Appliance Repair for a same day microwave repair. Was told that the fuse was faulty and would need to be replaced and that all work would come with a 30 day guarantee. No problem, fuse was replaced and we paid. About 10 days later the microwave stopped working again. We called the company and they refused to send anybody out, they claimed the technician reported the door switches needed to be replaced. Would not send anyone to look at the microwave again unless we ordered the parts on the spot over the phone and pay them another $250 plus labour. My husband was trying to insist they send someone to confirm these are the parts that needed replacing and the girl at the office simply hung up on him. So much for a 30 day guarantee! We wound up having to call another company who (after a much more thorough inspection and testing) told us it was the magnetron not the door switches. I can only imagine how many more parts and service calls A Team would have insisted we pay for before the actual problem got fixed. Will never use these ***** people again and will be blasting this review everywhere possible to try and help someone else avoid this same situation.

      Worst company and customer svc ever. **** *** * *** **** ***** ** ** ******* ***** *** * **** ******* * ***** *** ******* **** ****. Technician came to work on my fridge, said the coolant was not working and said all he needed to do was jump start the compressor. He did so and said it will start cooling within 3-4 hrs, charge $372 which was done by debit, after 3-4 hrs fridge still not cooling. I should have smell the rat when I was told they only accept debit or cash. ** *** *** **** ******* ***** ** * ****** ** **** **** ****** ** ************ *** **** **** ** *** ************ The technician tell you one thing, you believe it and you in trouble. Can't trust anyone.
