Sketchy business. I was impressed they were able to come and look within a couple days. They tell you its $80 for a service call and you dont pay that if they service the appliance. They arrive and its $333 to look at the machine and $80 is in that. Then its $800 for the repair part and part is not available. ****. looks like its their common business. Lesson learned ... never again. Im sure they had no intention in making a repair. Price the repair out of the world so you wont pay it.

Booked what was told to be an 80 diagnosis appointment. When the tech showed up, he immediately stated it was 295.00 plus tax. He Said the issue was a clogged pipe and everything was resolved. My wife asked if he could stay and watch the cycle to verify, he replied there was no need and reiterated that no parts were required. We paid the 295 plus tax and he left. Later that night we did a load of laundry only to find the same issue resurfaced. I called them back and requested an explanation. I was told that 780.00 would be required to fix my washer. When I pointed out the fact the technician stated no parts were necessary I was told that no refunds would be issued and was hung up on by customer service. The sheet provided was signed prior to the work being completed but additional notes were added after the fact and left on washing machine without any explanation from the technician. This company will take your money and they refuse to standby their work. I will be in touch with the BBB to report them as well.

Worst service ever. It has taken over 3 weeks and $700 so far to repair a washing machine and it is still not fixed. Every appointment was either rescheduled or the technician arrived after the scheduled time window. Technician tells you to call the office if there are issues, but the office staff is either not responsive (say that someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours) or they are **** - ending the call without addressing your concerns.

The company grossly overcharged us on a dryer repair job. What is awful about the way they do business is that they will charge you for the Total cost of Labour and then they will say that it does not include the installation of the part and charge more labour on top of your bill. We spoke to the office manager about our concern and the lady hung up on us! Also, we had to wait two week for our dryer to be repaired. I have been reminded that best way to go about a referral is to get a personal referral from a neighbour, relative or a friend. Do some research with this company before you call them to your home. Appliance Repair Team Inc. also goes by the name The A Team Appliance Repair?

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. ******* ** *** **** ** ***** ****. Charged over $300 for a 20 minute visit in which only an inexpensive small fuse was replaced. When I phone the company to complain they would do nothing and that they would not be at all bothered receiving ANOTHER scathing review. They were happy with their low on-line ratings. **** **** * ****** ****** ** ****** ******** ******* **** **** *********** ** ******** ***********

** * ***** **** * ***** * ****** **** ******* ** ********* *** * ***** Our ovens stopped working and our normal repair company was not available. This company said they needed to replace the motherboard, burner sleeves and cooling fan sensors- which were replaced a year earlier. They said I had to deposit $1500.00 and then pay the remaining $1500.00 on the first visit. The repair man returned 4 times - each with the wrong parts, without tools to fix the problem, with the incorrect manual to read (manual???) and finally he said his original assessment was wrong and needed more parts and they were on back order. Matt also left the inside oven light on and we couldn’t turn it off. It was on for 3 months straight before it burnt out. He told me to go to the hardware store and I could buy one and install it myself. Since then He has never returned and the ovens still do not work. It’s almost a year of trying to get them to fix my ovens. They company will not return calls. When I call I am put on hold and they do not return to the phone call and they have $3000 of my money and have not fixed the ovens. I am disgusted that this company is in existence. The calling centre is abysmal *** *** **** - one young woman said I asked too many questions and hung up on me - unbelievable. **** ******* ** * ***********

******* * *** ******* **** ******** *** **** ******** ******* ***** All negative reviews are correct based on my experience. I wish i should have read the reviews before calling ***** ********. The modus operandi of this company is to charge upfront labor charges without even knowing the problem. They will convince you that it will repaired immediately and once you pay, you will receive a quote with insane parts cost. If you decline to proceed then they will pocket the labor charges without doing any repair. I booked a service call for my Dryer which was operational but was making little grinding sound. The technician visited my house and started the machine and after hearing the grinding noise and after manually rotating the drum couple of times said that rotation system needs alignment and some rollers fixing. He said it can be repaired today for a fee of 282.50. He said it will be repaired today itself after I make the payment upfront. I should have noticed the red flag of paying upfront. I paid the fees upfront of $282.50 and signed the paper in good faith but after opening the dryer he said pully is broken and needs to be replaced and also said that belt might break in future so that needs to also be replaced as well and quoted additional $327 + HST. Infact, the technician broke the pully when trying to remove the drum. He did not at anytime said that parts will be additional to $282.50 and that too will be more expensive than the labor charges. It is stated in the small print which you usually sign in good faith without reading. This is where they are taking advantage of gullible public. The total fee for repairing a dryer was working out to be $652 which is more than/close to a new dryer. Insane He left after we declined to proceed with the order placement. I called many times their customer care for part refund but was put on hold for long periods and denied any refund.
