I have never signed up for anything with them. They somehow have my number and call me every other day, from different phone numbers each time. I block their number when they call, and the next time they have called me from a different number. This should be illegal. It's so frustrating.Business Response

It appears we are calling the wrong number. In reviewing the file in question, I can see that no one has ever answered to let us know we were calling the wrong number. Now that we are aware, I've marked it as such and added the number to our Do Not Call list.

The PRA Group Canada (telephone number: ************) has called our home multiple times a day for over a year. We have no business with this organization. We have asked that they put us on a do not call list, but they have ignored this request. Given that we have no business with this organization, I believe they are an illegitimate business.Business Response

The phone listed above was removed May 2nd, 2023 when a call was received telling us to stop calling. Unfortunately, the number was located on multiple files and was not removed from every file. The phone number has since been removed from all files and added to our Do Not Call list as of May 15th, 2023.

PRA Group canada constantly calling me. Harassing me. I have phone logs for the last 6 months. I have given you a very small amount of call logs. Always calling from different numbers.Business Response

This company continues to call me from various different numbers all across Canada; despite me blocking every new number they call from. I looked them up only to discover that they are a debt collection agency of some sort. I do not owe any outstanding debt to anyone for anything except for my student loan repayment which is not due yet. There is absolutely no reason they would have to be persistently calling me to a point that I would regard as harassment. This is absolutely unacceptable and I want them to stop calling me at once.
I wish to have no further contact with the business. They are operating a scam, plain and simple. If I did owe money, then I should have received something in the mail, or a letter/email from the CRA. But, I received no such thing. I am convinced they have the wrong number or are scammers.Business Response

The PRA Group has been reporting information on my credit report from 15 years ago which should no longer be there.
The last time that they unlawfully accessed my credit report was on April 12, which was last week. I want this to STOP.

This company has been calling me for months over debt that does not exist. The first time they called I answered, they wouldn’t tell me what it’s about, asking for personal information. They call me every day, and the times I answer they don’t even speak. This is a pathetic business, harassing people with no integrity. I’ve confirmed with all LEGITIMATE financial organizations that I deal with that this debt does not, and never has existed. Remove my number immediately or this will be escalated.Business Response

This company will not stop calling me, day or night! Whenever I've asked what they are calling me about they try to get personal details from me and I refuse to tell a strange company my personal information when I have no idea who they are or why they are calling me. They will only tell me it's a "personal matter", not very descript.
They get very rude with me when I tell them to stop calling my number and take me off their call list, then call me back repeatedly, I've even got 8 calls back to back from them. This can't be legal and it's getting ridiculous! I need to be put on their DO NOT CALL list unless they want to tell me what this matter is concerning. There are way too many scams out there to be giving personal info to some strange company over the phone.Business Response

However, I will note that the person who called me on March 14th told me she did not have a list to remove me from. To me this indicates that my removal from the businesses contact list did not occur on the 14th after my phone call with them, but rather after I put this complaint in. Some honesty would have been appreciated but I do accept the response since they will no longer be contacting me.

So I got a work issued smartphone for 2 weeks now and they have been BOMBARDING me with calls every week, non stop. When I answer to try to let them know they got the wrong number, they either immediately hung up or just say nothing. I keep reporting and blocking them but they call with a NEW NUMBER EVERY TIME. I do not know who they are trying to reach but it's not me. People keep calling this phone number looking for a certain ******* but it sure ain't me.Business Response

"PRA Group Canada" calls me once a week during the day or night, when I have answered they hang up, when I do not answer they do not leave a voicemail. I have blocked several of their numbers they call on, and yet they continue to call. I would like this "group" to please stop calling me, it is very annoying and frustrating.Business Response
