I moved to Canada 2 weeks ago.
I got my Canadian SIM card a week ago.
Since then I'm getting Daily calls and Voicemail messages from PRA Group Canada, from their bot, that i have some debt and to contact them to settle it.
I did not give my contact information to anyone else apart from my bank, healthcare, insurance and landlord.
I do not have any debt. I literally moved here 2 weeks ago and set up my bank account - living off of my savings last 2 weeks.
I do not have a credit card even - I can only get it next month.
Please stop leaving me voicemail and calling my number every day.
This is harassment and I will elevate this issue if necessary.Business Response

It would still be great to know where they get the phone numbers before sending the bot messages to people, but the spam calls ceased!

PRA Group Canada INC. calling my cell phone number repeatedly on a daily basis for the past year. I block the numbers calling me and they keep calling from new numbers. They change the number and repeat calling me. I have no business with this Company and want the calls to stop.Business Response

Company constantly calls several times a day. Never leaves messages. Currently have logged 70 different phones numbers from this company.

Constantly called by these numbers- For a debt that isn’t mine.
Two different names are used and none of them are mine and I’m not in contact with either persons.
I’ve made it clear I don’t know them- That I hold no debts. And they claim to remove me from their call list- then the next day I get 8 plus calls. Constant.
When I answer they either don’t speak or just start blabbering on about people I don’t know- then lie and say they will add me to the “Do not call list.” liars.
They never leave voicemails.
This started when I was a 16- i’m 18 now and still being harassed for people and debts I don’t know.

In reviewing the file, i don't see where we have ever spoken with anyone at the phone number listed above. Perhaps it was a different company you spoke with. Now that we know it is the wrong number we have marked it as such and have also added the phone number to our Do not Call list.

This company is calling me constantly about a debt that I have no knowledge of. I would like them to kindly stop bothering me.

PRA group had made 2 collection filing to my credit profile from an incorrect account to mine. I do not owe any collections. I have contracted PRA group and asked to submit all papers works etc. I have completed all since mid June 2022. Was told it will be removed.
2023 Jan - while applying for mortgage renewal the 2 collections are still in my Credit Profile. Sent numerous follow up to ***** Operations Manager at PRA and never heard back as of yet.
It’s unfair that any company can file incorrect information and the customers left to resolve it in their own with no help from Credit Bureau nor from the company that did the incorrect filing. I am left with a negative on my filing and had to deal with this non sense.

These requests were sent in April 2022 and should have been completed by now. If a collection item for PRA Group is still listed on either your ******* or ********** credit report, please forward a copy to **************************, please ensure the date the credit report was pulled is listed.

This happens to be the second time this PRA Group has attempted to squeeze money out me for reasons I have no idea why! First one they tried to get me to pay something to ** Bank for accounts that ** and myself closed because of my cancer… Now this company is trying to get money out of me for a ***** ***** account that I have no idea what they’re talking about.. What do these people do look up names and if they’re the same name they go after the wrong person! I’am sick and tired of this company trying to pawn funds from a innocent party… is Legal action on my part to stop their antics… Everyday I’m trying to get my health back, but this company’s job seems to be to keep me unhealthy! It’s time to stopped PRA in attempting to ruin people’s life’s. My credit reports are good and I will not have anyone try to destroy it. Like I said even if it means taking legal action on my part!
I hope BBB can see all the complaints that have been forwarded about their

Pra Group constantly contacts me from different phone numbers. I have logged over 40 different numbers this company has used. I have told the people calling that if they felt I owed them money they should sue me and if they continued to call that it would be harassment. They have called more often using an array of numbers and now they don’t even say anything when I answer.
They have been doing this for at least 10 years.
