The folks at Enercare are great! They were very helpful in helping me set my account up, and to Asif the service tech who went above and beyond to help my family get hot water back. Thank you so much!

Enercare is charging me for a hot water recovery where as they never installed it nor has a a contract proving so . I have escalated it to a manger and they have no paper work to prove on the contract. I am being charge monthly and there seems to be no resolution. I would like a senior resource reach out to me on this matter

I tried to cancel my air conditioner service last May or some time, because I don’t have the AC and didn’t need any maintenance service any more. The representative told me she could give me about $29 credit as I won’t book any service. I found the bill keep on charging AC maintenance fee till now, so I called Enercare customer service and the representative told me he could help me to set up the cancellation time as the contract lasts till August 18. I argued that actually since last May I didn’t need it, that representative should also told me that she could set up the cancelation for me, as this was my first time I know it won’t be so troublesome to always keep on calling Enercare for hours each time. One call may be transferred to five representatives and each time needs to repeat my detailed information and problem, how ridiculous and unreasonable? I know it’s my fault that last year I should call back to cancel AC maintenance because of the contract, but it’s really so ***** to me as a customer who needed to always keep in mind to cancel it on time. If the representative last year I called could let me know she actually could help me cancel it as she could set up the time for cancellation, as I told her I didn’t need this service any more and even get a credit for no service booking. Now the manager I called said he can help cancel this service, but I need to return last year’s credit about $29, how **** Enercare is! If the representative helped cancel last year, nothing gonna be so unfair to me like this. So I would like to get the fee I paid since last September and my credit last year, and of course cancel this AC maintenance service for free. Appreciate all the support in advance!

Have been ********* me for a clerical error on their part. Stating that I owe upwards of $300 in back rental fees when they put my name on a rental agreement without my knowledge. They continue to call and leave messages multiple times a week and I have now had to get a lawyer involved.

I wanted to end my contract and buy a new water heater with no more rental fees from a respectable local plumber for $2200 install with a Rheem 50 gallon water heater ($1500 heater + $450 labor + tax). They will even disconnect the old one and put it in the garage for Enercare to pick up.
But ENERCARE comes into the picture!
They want to charge $900 to buy out my water heater installed in January 6, 2016.
A ridiculous fee for a 8+ year old water heater that I can buy NEW for $1500+tax from ****.
      Brand: Giant
      Size: 50 Gallons
Model: ****-*******-***-** Serial Number: * ******* I know I will need to pay $75 for Enercare to pick it up, from my garage but I HAVE to pay $900 first? They would have taken the hot water heater with them!
Then they have the gall to say 8+ year old Hot water heater is worth $2700 new, when in fact it is worth $1500+tax new. They say they did "Things" to it to make it more reliable than the what the manufacturer did. I asked like what? And they said it is a secret. **** Tell me what you claimed to do if you marked up the price. I think they did NOTHING! They DIDN'T change the circuitry, reinforce the pipes, add more insulation, etc.

We called for service of a water heater which began leaking in late January of 2024. The technician from Enercare deemed the water heater not repairable. He then offered a new water heater rental which had what we felt were unacceptable terms. We told the technician we would not be renting a new water heater, we would purchase our own. After several days we had heard nothing from Enercare so we called to arrange for them to pick up the old (12 years) heater and were told they now longer do this, to dispose of it ourselves.
I called today to Enercare to have them stop billing for the water heater as it appeared on our February bill. I was told we are to drop the water heater off at their Chalmers Road facility or to pay $75.00+tax for pick-up. We were not given this information when I called to have it picked up. Only that they "no longer pick items up." I insisted they delete the February charge and make no further charges. I was told to "cancel the contract for the water heater would cost $248.68!!" **** ** ************ ******** ********* Non of this was conveyed to us when water heaters were on offer from the company. To my knowledge, we signed no such contract. * **** ** ****** **** ******** ** *** *** ** **** ****** ****** ******* **** ***** **** ** *** **** ******** *** * **** ****** ****** *** ******** * **** **** ******** ** *** *********** **** *** ********

***** **** *** ******* *** ** ***** *************.We have had problems with Enercare since day 1, 11 years ago. I have been trying to get out of the current contract but due to the ridiculous basically 25 year non renewal policy and I could not. All I wanted was for them to take there Hot Water Tank out so that I could purchase my own hot water heater so I didn't have to rent it. There was a buy out option but that basically put me at buying the hot water tank from them which was already 10 years old for the price of a new one. Finally after having them service the heater every month for the last 6 months and me telling them that the Hot water Heater has seen its last day and needs to be replaced they fixed it again and then guess what....it finally died, myself and my family were left without hot water for 3 days until Enercare finally came to take out the water heater. The techs were all great, i asked them if I needed to do anything else and they said all the details were sent to head office and the account would be closed. A month later I got a bill for hot water rental and now I am running through hoops to try to cancel our account because Enercare cant communicate appropriately internally. email this person call this person, sounds like I am doing everyones job for them. As a small business owner there are so many inefficiencies within this business **** *** *** ** *** **** ******** ** ******** **** ** *** ******** ** ******* ****** so sad when people work so hard and large companies are never held accountable for their actions. **** **** **** **** **** **** ****** *** ***** ******* **** **** *** *** **** ****** *** ***** *********** ***** ***** ******** **** ********* **** **** **** **** **** * ****

I find it difficult with there customer service. I was told the issue would be resolved but every time i am told it is a different depart that is to resolve the issue, they never call me. When i ask to call them direct of be transferred, I get that this department doesn't have a direct line.

I purchased a tankless hot water system from this company, along with a furnace and heat pump. The install happened in three seperate visits to my home, although that's not how it was suppose to happen, according the my sales rep. The installers did a good job. No complaints with them. My complaint is with my sales rep. 36 hours before the installation of my tankless water system, I got an email from my sales rep saying "I need this contract signed". My mistake was opening the contract up on my phone. It's a four page contract, stating all the legal blah blah that's on most contracts, but the one thing I didn't notice, is that fact that the sales guy had switched the model of tankless system from the mid range system, to the cheapest one, without as much as a phone call or anything. His email did state, that this contract was $100.00 cheaper than the previous one, but the way it was typed out, the model # of the tank was almost off the page. The tank I purchased was a ***** SE 190, but what he sold me was a ***** SE 160. Very easy not to recognize the difference in model #'s, especially on a phone screen. My home now has a big difference in water pressure, and I still haven't gotten a reason for the switch in models, despite the 15 or so phone calls I've made, the number of different reference numbers I've been given, or the five or so different emails I've sent. Not one response from anybody. **** **** **** **** ********  I wish I had of looked here before buying anything from them. **** ******* ** *** *** **** ***** ********* **** *****.. Good luck
