      I placed an order with a sales rep for a ** laundry center on Jan28/24 along with a 45% deposit. We picked up the order from the Calgary warehouse, on Feb16/24 & paid the balance due. We then removed old appliances & installed the new on Sunday, Feb18/24. Machine was faulty when I tried to use it. Monday morning I texted my sales rep, who assured me I had nothing to worry about & that she was sending me the return form to fill out, and also gave me a after delivery customer care number. I called the number & was told that because the machine was installed, I was not able to return it. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE MACHINE IS FAULTY WITHOUT IT BEING INSTALLED??? Told I now have to contact the warranty department to arrange for a service call. I made this call early Monday morning & was given a reference # and told *** appliance repair would be contacting me within 24-48 hours to arrange the service call. 48 hours went by and nothing.Now I am really upset, because I have a useless appliance in my laundry room, empty promises & lies from the sales rep & more empty promises from the warranty dept. **** * **** *** *** ******** ****** ******* ** *** *** appliance repair center that has been given the service call (which I still have yet to hear from, 3 days after my call for help). What kind of warranty service is this??? I should not have to keep a product that was faulty the first use. That is not my fault, but I am being burdened with this. I plain & simply want to return this mnachine & never deal with CAS again.I have spent hours looking for help & waiting - time I will never get back! ** will hear about my experience with CAS as a retailer of their product & ******** * **** ** ***** ** **** ***** *** horrific experience I have had with CAS.       I am fully & 100% aware that CAS is the retailer & Not the manufacturer of this appliance. Here’s the thing. You (CAS) has the relationship with the manufacturer & as a customer, I should not be bearing the burden of a malfunctioning appliance. This appliance was defective right out of the box. That should not be my burden to bear. Thus should be something you as the retailer looks after - between you & the manufacturer to make things right with a customer. I have had the same bad luck with a dishwasher one time. The pump was dripping from the moment it was installed & it was returned to the retailer. No questions asked. A faulty product, right from the start…. should not be the customers burden.

      Horrible. New ******* washing machine. Broke after 80 uses in 1.5 years. First technician said it was the computer panel and then the second found the entire motor wrecked. ******* was horrendous and did not address my issue . They should be giving me a brand new machine. I bought it from Canadian Appliance Source. This is a complete waste of 1600.00 plus I had to buy a new machine, and I'm out over 300 for the technicians to assess it. I've never had such a horrendous experience in my life. * **** ******** Will never ever buy anything from them or this company again.

      The store sold us an oven that had a defective control panel. We discovered the issue about a day agter delivery. When we contacted them for assistance they sent us to the manufacture. We contacted the sales we were dealing with and were informed there was nothing he could do to assist us other than help us get in touch with the Manufacturer. I asked him for the contact information for a sales manager or customer rep, but was informed there wasn't one. It will likely be weeks before our brand new oven is fixed. We are dealing with this on our own. I would strongly recommend that potential customers think twice before purchasing an appliances from this franchise. Their treatment of after purchase customers is non-existant.

      We bought a new electric range from Canadian Appliance Source in Ottawa for 2500. They delivered the appliance, and it did not work. When we contacted Canadian Appliance Source they told us our only option was to contact the manufacturer and wait for them to send a repair person.
      We bought a brand new appliance and it was completely up to us to chase down the manufacturer to get it to work! The salesman never even returned our calls. We have not heard from anyone from Canadian Appliance Source, other than to tell us it is our responsibility to get it fixed. They did not offer return or exchange.
      They were happy to take our money, but did nothing when they failed to deliver a working appliance.

      Unfortunately we had a terrible experience and will never purchase from CAS again. We purchased a boxing week sale. We were asked if we could wait until mid-January for delivery. I said "yes" as we were planning to move in the spring. The delivery date was then pushed back to Feb 9.
      We had the dryer delivered two days before anticipating the washer to arrive as we needed the dryer. We were willing to pay the extra delivery charge for 2 seperate trips.
      The next day we were told the new expected date for the washer was March 26 and finally April 19.
      We are putting our house up for sale beginning of March and therefore can't wait that long. We contacted CAS and asked for a return on the dryer and refund and they said no. Becuase the dryer was plugged in (not used) we couldn't return it. Unfortunately customer service was incredibly rude throughout the whole process.
      We now have a dryer and are going to purchase a washer somewhere else that won't match the dryer as we try and sell our house.
      Through all of this, when I was shopping around, Costco had the same price, but we went with CAS in hopes of supporting the Canadian company. Never agian.

      I honestly don’t know why we went back to CAS after our first bad experience with their delivery service ***** *****).
      Absolutely no customer service once they have your $.
      ** ***** *** ******** ******** ***** **** *** **** ****** ****** ************** *** * ************ ** **** *** ******** *** made a deal for a fridge. I was given a 4 hour deliver window 10-2, so essentially wasting a day waiting.
      I finally get a call from delivery driver telling me he is unable to make delivery because his truck was not “powerful” enough to get up our road. The driver actually suggested I drive down in my pickup truck to meet them and they will move it in MY truck! I told them that’s ridiculous. I won’t take responsibility to deliver an appliance I paid delivery on.
      I called both **** group and CAS. I was told they would get back to me. The alternative I was offered was a future delivery with an additional cost of $400, or I could pick up myself. Believe me if I could have picked it up myself I NEVER would have gotten delivery. I had had a previous problem with **** ***** delivery service. ******* *** ******** ******* ******* *********** ******* **** **** ****** incapable of making a delivery, they want to waste another day of my time and charge me an additional $400? I have had many 5 ton trucks deliver up our road with no problem including CAS/**** ***** truck!
      My salesperson refused to answer my calls so I had to go into the store. Mr Farman K. then proceeded to give me an explanation on how “business” works. ****** *** ** *** **** ************ and simply offered the same alternatives of paying an additional $400 delivery or pickup at store. I asked to speak to the manager and he tells me HE IS THE MANAGER! **** *************** Now I have emailed 4 times and called 10 times to tell him to cancel the order with no answer and no reply. I will NEVER deal with CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE OR **** ***** DELIVERY.

      We’re sorry to hear that you felt your delivery experience was not completed to your satisfaction.


      We take our clients' complaints seriously and after going through your order we see that your location was only reachable by a smaller truck and as such our delivery partner had to arrange for a special request to make it happen. Delivery is a value added service we provide to our clients on a capacity basis and as such, we advise our clients whenever this is not possible or requires additional set up and costs. We also see that your delivery was scheduled for February 6, 2024 and your order was canceled with full refund on February 8, 2024 within our typical 48 hour response time.

      Two ****** employees refused to properly deliver my appliances and when I called to rectify the situation, no one responded for weeks. I finally had to hire my own movers and CAS refused to refund me the shipping or take responsibility.

      As per the delivery team, they did not proceed to deliver your laundry appliances to the basement in order to avoid damaging your property and the appliances.


      Please note, it is part of our delivery company's White Glove service to keep your appliance safe and damage-free when delivering inside your home.


      This includes keeping your property free from possible damage also. It is our team's responsibility to make certain judgements if they think an appliance will (not fit/unsafe to delivery etc)

      We purchased a refrigerator July 29, 2023 and it was delivered August 1, 2023 with a broken door shelf. The delivery men said they would report it but when we went in to the store a few days later, it had not been reported. We were expecting that they would exchange the broken shelf for a new one on the floor. They would not do that. CAS said there was nothing they could do and we would have to deal with *******. We still have had no result from ******* after numerous e-mails and 13-15 phone calls.
      We revisited CAS and we were told they could not do anything. It seems odd that they collected their money for the sale but are refusing to help us in any way.

      Thank you for your feedback. We've tried to contact you by phone and left you a message on both numbers as we wanted to get first hand information on your case.

      From our notes, we see that the delivery you're referring to didn't happen because the payment needed to be verified by our payment security provider. Your tenant was advised over the phone to respond to the security email one day prior to delivery, but unfortunately she acknowledged the request but didn't act on it.

      Please understand that at Canadian Appliance Source we make every effort to prevent our customers from being defrauded and that such a process is necessary.

      They will sell you a brand name product and charge you for delivery & installation.
      However, once product is delivered there is NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
      If you are not satisfied with product due to manufacturing issues...noise, shaking, etc Canadian Appliances does NOT CARE !!
      They send you a link to the Brand Name Manufacturer and it is the CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM now to request a REFUND!
      I just wanted a working WASHER!
      NO human contact from CANADIAN APPLIANCE STORE on Oakville. It takes
      4-6 weeks to receive a partial refund from the manufacturer & I still have no washer
      CANADIAN APPLIANCE STORE owes me for the DELIVERY & INSTALLATION FEES!
      I am a very UNHAPPY & ***** CUSTOMER with this ************** type of business practice. Where is CUSTOMER SERVICE? NOT HERE!!
