Bought a fridge on Nov 24, 2023. It was delivered and installed Nov 25, 2023 and on Nov 26, 2023 it had an EC error code. I looked online to find out what an EC error is and found out its an issue with the mother board and that a technician was needed. Being the weekend I called the manufacturer directly and they opened a case. I wrote to CAS customer service asking that they pick up the fridge and send me a new seeing it was less than 24 hrs old. I was told they would escalate the issue with the manufacturer bc they needed a technician to see the unit first. More than a week later no technician, 4 phone calls to the manufacturer and 2 emails to CAS aftercare support. Called CAS and the most robotic speaking gentleman answered and kept repeating that it was the manufacturers issue. He was not helpful at all, did not offer to escalate to the manufacturer or anything. Basically, you are on your own once you pay and get the product. Fed up I asked that they pick up the unit and refund me and he said no. I hung up on hm in frustration. Never again will i deal with CAS. I am now on the phone again with the manufacturer ..Canadian Appliance Source

Extremely poor after sales service.
My dryer was delivered Nov 11, 2023. I noticed the drain hose was not secured and had to put in a service call. Drain hose was attached Nov 14, 2023
My dryer started making a very loud noise while spinning after 2 times of use. I contacted the sales rep by email twice and did not get a response.
Since then I have been on the phone trying to get somebody to look at the dryer with no success so far. I keep getting transferred from person.
Aside from that, I told the sales rep at *** ******** ******* Barrie I wanted the ********** washer dryer in the store. He sold me a different model. By the time I realized his mistake, I was told it was too late to do an exchange.

I believe that the dryer sold to me was defective. It did not arrive in a box.
I yet to receive a service call from ***** **********.

We bought $30K of ******* appliances for our new kitchen from Canadian Appliance Source. The dishwasher didn't work upon installation. A repair person came (a week later) and fixed it. It is now month 4, and we have had it break down 5 times over the last 4 months. ** **** * ***** ********* and wind up washing dishes by hand for a week at a time until they can schedule us in for a repair (a week out). I have attempted to speak to someone at Canadian Appliance Source, and they literally will not even allow me through to someone in the office. They say it is not their problem and want nothing to do with me. Went in September to look for appliances. Decided on the ones I wanted to buy and waited until Black Friday/Boxing month "deals". Sales person called me in November to tell me that there were great deals available and to book the price and have it delivered any time in the future. I went there and saw that they had raised the prices of all the appliances (some as much as 50% then slashed the ****** price and made it look like they were giving you a deal. This stove is a lemon. The lack of assistance has been beyond deplorable. Sales person - not their job, their job is to sell, ********** says deal with CAS, CAS says deal with **********. CAS service team is ************* and dismissive. I know they push web queries to showcase their inventory....****** **** **** *** ******* ** ****** **** ****. A company is defined by what they do after a sale. We still have a stove that is a lemon. CAS only cares about the sale.. Short sighted behaviour. The manufacturer's first port of call would be to service your appliance.
However, after many attempts at service with the underlying issue still persisting, the manufacturer may decide to replace the unit.

If you need something delivered to a condo, DO NOT order from Canadian Appliance!
My condo has very strict rules for booking an elevator. Waiting to get your “window” the night before delivery is not feasible as I must book it at least 24 hours in advance.
Despite making this very clear to the salesperson, and being assured that it wouldn’t be a problem having it delivered between 9-1, I got a call the night before to say my window was 11-3.
Customer service said they could see the emails from my salesperson requesting 9-1 but she said there was no guarantee, and the delivery was scheduled for 11-3 with no possible way to get a window confirmed any earlier. I cancelled the delivery.
I spoke with my salesperson the next morning. He was very ****, saying that I should have ignored the call and just believed he had arranged it. I asked if he could request another date, with a 9-5 or 1-5 window and email me when it was confirmed. He said he would not send me an email as there could be no guarantee as “things can happen that couldn’t be prevented”. I explained that I am aware that trucks can break down, etc. and would would have understood a call the same day to say there was a problem but he still wouldn’t confirm a delivery time with an email.
I asked him to cancel the order as I would seek another company. I was able to purchase it (for $200 less than than Canadian Appliance!) and despite having a similar policy about calling to advise the “window” the night before, they understood my predicament and made arrangements AND sent me an email confirmation.

Worst Post-delivery Customer service,
Don't ever buy from them. Facts
1. Their promised delivery date is always off. Read others reviews. I got mine delivered on next day, even after my agent confirmed with me verbally and via email.
2. Read all their policies before dealing with them.
3. They are in such a hurry to sell, not just what you came to buy, but also the added insurance
4. They don't care about your existing setup. Even after I told my sales rep about my existing model and space capacity, she continued to sell me the wrong item.
5. The delivery service they use is terrible. Once again, they are in a hurry to do their job. They won't bother to fit the item where it is supposed to go. Had they tried to fit it into place, which it didn't later, I would have returned it on the spot
6. After-sales service is atrocious. Just because I plugged in the refrigerator before trying to fit it in its final place, they said it could not be returned.

Bought a downdraft that was the wrong size. Called to return to buy a diifferent MORE EXPENSIVE one, and they said no returns on ventilations systems.
Went through the website and buying process online for another unit. at NO point did a warning come up saying FINAL SALE.

I will never purchase anything from this company ever again! I ordered a washer and dryer that was supposed to be delivered 2 days later. I needed one bad, never had one for almost a month they told me they would call first and give a 3 hour window the day before. I took the day off work and nobody called or even showed up!! ***** *** I cancelled my ordered as I would not want to have to deal with them ever again!! I purchased a fridge and stove two weeks ago. There are problems with both appliances and they will not support in anyway! The fridge and stove are both ********* products. The fridge came without leveling feet even though the manual says they should be there! The fridge is actually on rollers! Why why why would anyone sell a fridge on rollers? They’ve sent service twice now and service which is third-party takes videos to send to ********* who is less than helpful and basically were stuck with this ****** refrigerator.
