      Received Defective Washer - No Accountability. I recently bought a ** washer and dryer from Canadian Appliance Source (CAS). The washer failed on it's first wash. ***** ****** * when buying from CAS you are dealing with 3 companies (CAS, the delivery company, and the product manufacturer/Canadian distributor). I was bounced between them with no one being able to help me - all saying it's the others' issue. CAS was sending me emails asking me for pictures and not returning my calls. ** sent a Tech over; the machine is defective and needs parts replaced. Should I not be getting a new machine? ** is telling me to call CAS for a new machine, and CAS telling me to call **. Doesn't anyone stand being their products or care about the customer anymore? With this washer & dryer I've bought 7 appliances from CAS - NEVER again!

      I was advised to buy an electrical converter for my ***** dishwasher because it would come with a “European” plug-in. Upon opening the dishwasher box, it had a North American plug-in. I opened the converter box, to ascertain my understanding.
      I called customer service, as I was directed to do, to be forwarded to another department, which could not issue me credit, nor could the person connect me to a manager, as company policy does not allow managers to talk to customers. The representative also could not email me the further contact, as they are forced to use their personal equipment, and she quite rightly so, did not want to expose her contact information with a customer. She re-directed me to contact my sales representative, which I have. ***** ******** ** * ******* ******* ***** ** ***** *** I have no chance of understanding, the sales representative advised me that his hands were tied by policy.
      They will not refund me my unnecessary expense. ** ******** **** ** * *****

      AWFUL experience. ********* ********* ******** ********** They **** customers by securing a 25% restocking fee if you want to return a product. They remove packaging prior to arrival without any consent in an effort to secure that fee. ***********

      ***** ******* *** **** ***** ********** *********. Here's my experience.I went to the store searching for a washer and dryer that would fit my laundry closet, which is just 27" wide. To my surprise, one of the washers measured only 26.5"! The salesman even confirmed that this particular washer is one of the slimmest models. So, I was excited to buy it.The problem started on the day of delivery. When the delivery team arrived, they removed all the packaging, including plastics, and broke the styrofoam outside our home, on the street outside our building, keeping them in their truck. They did not conduct a walkthrough to the appliance's final destination, as mentioned in their delivery process and preparation steps video (starting at 0:48). They did not identify potential challenges with the installation but simply unpacked the appliances on the street outside our home and brought the units directly inside.When they tried to install the washer, to our surprise, it wouldn't fit because it measured 27" in width. The delivery person led us to believe that the units might fit into our space if we removed the closet trim, and we arranged for a later installation, so we accepted the order. However, when we asked someone to look into removing the trims, we realized that the washer still would not fit because there wasn't enough space to pivot the machine into the laundry closet. Therefore, we decided to return the machines.This is where our nightmare began. CAS was charging us a 25% restocking fee for each of the machines, which seemed ridiculous since it was not entirely our fault. We made several attempts to have them remove the restocking fee, but they only reduced it to 15% and offered us "discounts" to offset the cost. After numerous appeals, we ended up with a compact-sized machine at the price of a full-sized machine, plus more.** ****** *********** ****** * ***** ********** * ********* **** *** ** **********

      After receiving the replacement machines, I discovered that they did not install the stacking kit properly. They installed only one bracket on one side instead of both. They had to send a “more experienced” team to install a new set of brackets!
      I requested several times for an escalation manager to call me but it was totally ignored. After all the stress and this very unpleasant customer experience, their only response was, “We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience caused.”

      Horrible delivery and customer service, bought fridge, delivered on Oct. 4th. Fridge was not put in place, left way out on floor. When I myself went to put it in place fridge would not fit and my hardwood floor had major gouges which were hidden under the fridge which I believe was the reason was left out and I also think they may have realized it was not going to fit. I filed a claim with Canadian Appliance Source and was denied apparently due to the fact I signed for delivery of the fridge. Their website says you have 48 hours after signing if you find concealed damages, and I filed the same day of delivery. If I had of known fridge would not fit I would have kept my old fridge, they wanted 25% approx. $450.00 restocking fee. I have now had to pay $536.00 to reconfigure my cupboard for the fridge to fit, $146.00 to have the fridge levelled and my hardwood floor cannot be repaired. In all my years of buying appliances this is for sure the worst experience ever. They accept no responsibility for anything.

      Please note, when accepting delivery from a 3rd party delivery service, the 3rd party would be responsible for all liability, damages, and claims that may arise due to the delivery of services provided.


      Customers do  have the option to refuse an appliance upon delivery if it does not fit.


      The delivery team would have returned the unit to CAS, without you being involved in the After Sales process. 


      As per our return policy, all CAS authorized returns and exchanges on undamaged products that have been opened, and not used, are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus applicable delivery charges.

      The problem being they did not put the fridge in place, left it out on floor so I did not know it didn’t fit until they were long gone and I stated over and over again I believe they left it out so I wouldn’t see the damage they did to my hardwood floor which is costing me big bucks to repair it. If you would have been kind enough to send someone out to see this for yourself perhaps you would have had a different opinion and just maybe realized my major complaint. Very poor customer service I must say. My pictures tell the true story.
      And further more why would you charge me a restocking fee to return a fridge that didn’t fit and as result I had to pay for cupboard to be refigured.

      Ordered appliances for a commercial project. I was promised the items were in stock and promised a delivery date.
      Now it is 2 weeks past my promised delivery date and am I am still waiting and hit with an unexplained $175 fee or the delivery will not be completed.

      Not recommended. I purchased a six appliance package for my newly renovated kitchen in Calgary and have been unable to get them installed. CAS uses a third party install service called ***** *********** **** and they are completely inept. I am left with all appliances in boxes and searching for my own installer.
      Prices seemed decent in store but only buy if you plan on installing yourself.
      Very disappointed!

      I have purchased an appliance from CAS *** * ***** ********* ******** **** **** **** **** *******. Delivery service is dismal at best and their customer care after delivery is much worse. If you have a problem with whatever you’ve purchased from them you will get zero support from CAS.       I purchased a washing machine that was too wide to fit through the opening into my laundry room in my very old house. The machine had some unaccounted for plastic pieces on the back preventing it from sliding through the doorway. I wanted to exchange it for a new one that would fit. I wanted my appliance, but it didn't fit. I wanted one that fit. I contacted the salesperson who told me I had 48 hours from the time of pick up to submit a request for an exchange.
      At the time of purchase, the salesperson did not inform me of their return policy, which requires a 25% restocking fee. I feel I was deliberalely distracted by the policy he did tell me, which was I had 48 hours to return it if it had any damages. When I picked up my appliance at the warehouse, the attendant also reiterated that policy but didn't tell me of the actual return policy. In addition, this policy is not on the release form that I signed to get my appliance or the purchase receipt. Also, this is the second appliance I have purchased from CAS. The first salesperson also did not inform me of the return policy. When I picked up that appliance, the attendant also did not mention the return policy, rather, again they both brought the 48 hours to return if damaged policy to my attention.
      Not one person at the company directed me to look at the return policy on their website where I was told by customer service 'it's publicly available'. Because it involves such a steep surcharge, and because there is consistent non disclosure of their policy, I consider this to be a deceptive practice. I would not have proceeded with either purchase if I had known. Entering into an agreement that involves a financial penalty for the consumer without consent or awareness of the penalty is deception. I can't afford to pay them 25% to take back their product, so I "preferred" to keep it and inflict damage on my doorframe. It's truly unethical. Failing to state an important fact about their service is WRONG.

      I purchased a microwave and they told me is going to be delivered in a week I wait for 6 weeks and when I request my refund they said they take up to 10 days and also for my 400 dollars they took away 60 because processing feeds when asked why they said is the way they work taking money away from customers Very disappointing customer service
