      I purchased a dishwasher and the salesman put in the wrong dishwasher in the system. When it arrived we installed it as it looked the same on the outside and after installed we realized it was missing all of the steam jets we specifically requested and then upon looking it’s the whole wrong serial number. Now they say sorry you opened it it’s yours. I paid for the upgraded model and now dealing with customer service cause they won’t let me return it. Too it off salesman is on vacation and can’t even help us. I’ve spent 5 hours on the phone today trying to deal with them and I’m absolutely disgusted at how they deal with everything! I won’t return and I’m currently trying to return the stove I bought that’s supposed to come in a month. If this is how they treat people I don’t want to buy the stove!

      Very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to selecting appliances with lots in stock and quick delivery times. We have bought from them a number of times and were happy until the day they shipped us a defective product (through no fault of theirs). Rather than just exchange my range hood for one that was not badly scratched, they insisted I deal directly with the manufacturer. The customer service people were very rude but finally told me that I could submit a return authorization using their website. After taking all kinds of pictures and trying to submit their form, I kept receiving error messages saying that I could not submit the form.
      I gave up and just arranged to install a scratched range hood over my oven. Every time I cook I will now think about how I will never buy from CAS again. If you can, I recommend buying from a retailer that takes defective stuff back in a reasonable manner.

      However, we also have the return and exchange form available, which customers can use to seek assistance from our After Sales team.


      The reason pictures are requested on the form is so that the After Sales team can see and evaluate the damages to the unit.


      Our records show that the difficulty to submit the form was never reported, hence why we were not able to assist.


      Whenever customers report a system glitch, our team will always assist by directing them to an email address to send pictures to.

      If I could give a rating of less than one it would be negative 100. I originally wanted to purchase a washer, dryer, fridge and stove from a very well known establishment but they could not deliver until two weeks past my moving day. When I inquired at Canadian Appliance Source they said the brands and models I was looking for were all in stock and they could deliver on my moving day. **** **** ****. They also said installation was included except for the water hook-up on the fridge. **** **** *****. Three out of the four appliances arrived on moving day but the stove was on back order and the delivery guy said the installation of the washer and dryer was not included and left the washing machine far from the installation spot, claiming the installers will need room to hook it up. When I called back the salesman tried to sell me a replacement stove, air-fryer tray and steam kit for the washer. He also said the installation was not included and he never said it was. So I was left living without a stove, washer and dryer for 16 days. No cooking, no laundry. I tried to have the washer and dryer installed by other means and all repairmen declined because the machine had to be lifted into the water tray (second floor installation). I spoke with the salesman again and he said the installation will be done when they deliver the stove. Then during a subsequent conversation he said I found out they can't do the installation because the washer has already been delivered and they may be liable. I was in tears, practically having a heart attack. I called their customer service afterwards and asked if the installation could be done during the stove delivery. They said yes, no problem.

      Absolutely horrific experience with both CAS appliances and *** ********* (their delivery service). After denting my fridge, dinging my brand new quartz countertops twice and denting my brand new custom kitchen they are refusing the damage claim. Their customer service has been terrible and instead of helping to rectify the situation they accused me of lying. Would never ever recommend.

      **** *********!!
      ********! We ordered a new dishwasher after limping our old one along for years. We'd had it picked out mentally for a long time -- One of those ****** triple rack, stainless steel interior, perfect match for the rest of the appliances we've upgraded over time.
      After installing it, we discovered that the pressurized hose had a pinhole leak. These things are supposed to be technician inspected before sale...
      I call Canadian Appliance Source and am told I need to call ****** to get the part. They didn't know how much it would cost.
      I called ****** and am reassured that no I won't need to pay for the hose. It arrives in about a week - but it's the drain hose, not the right part.
      I contact Canadian Appliance Source and ask to have 1. a proper hose sent out asap. I'm totally dismissed and again told to contact ******.
      At this point, I said, forget it, I want a refund and I want this thing gone. I'm told I'll have to email the returns dept.
      Two days later I get an email that says " as the product has been installed, it does not qualify for return or exchange." It's within the 30 days, but they don't care.
      If this thing didn't work at all, we'd be stuck with it, and the bill/repair bill- scary thought!
      I contacted ****** again and carefully outlined the exact product we need. It wasn't great on their part, but at least they owned it and were responsive and helpful. Canadian Appliance couldn't care less once they got their money.
      Looking for a new appliance? Stay far, far away from this ***** company!!

      Please understand that CAS receives all appliances factory-sealed from the manufacturer and those are only unboxed after delivery/ pick up.


      As such, we have no way of knowing if an appliance/ part is damaged.


      This is why, when reported, we will ensure that it is addressed under the applicable manufacturer's warranty/ policy.


      When it comes to the concerned brand, the instructions that we have for when customers report damaged/ missing parts, are to direct the customers to their customer service line for assistance.


      This is because they prefer to speak with customers directly in avoid to avoid confusion when ordering parts.


      We sincerely apologize if this was not clearly explained to you by our team and are truly sorry to hear that you still received the wrong part. 


      Moreover, please note that CAS does not have a 30-day return policy - the concerned manufacturer offers a 30-day cosmetic warranty period.

      DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!
      Outsource delivery and installation!!!
      Techician broke the appliance when installing which has lead to water damage. The most they did was refund me the installation fee! Have been left with water damage and non workable appliance. Customer service hangs up and ignores emails.
      Save yourself the headache and money.

      Absolutely horrible and frankly unacceptable experience with the delivery service (*** *********) that CAS uses. Lead person who was doing the delivery with another young guy immediately started verbally berating my wife when he arrived, as she was trying to help facilitate what he needed. He did not listen to her at all, which resulted in substantial damage to our new custom kitchen cabinets and countertops. Two other contractors were onsite and when I arrived (the delivery guys had left) mentioned to me they were blown away by how horrible the experience was. After they left, CAS customer experience called my wife and said this delivery person tried to blame it on one of the contractors for the damage. I was and still am very mad with how this situation happened - A grown man should NEVER have done that to a woman (my wife). I am absolutely disgusted by the experience and as a result will not be using CAS ever again.
      As a side note - I called CAS to talk to them about our experience and they consistently passed me off to a customer care person who simply told us to fill out a form for the damage. I called the Kitchener store and demanded to speak to the Manager to which I was told 'there is no Manager, only senior account executives'. Not once did they ever apologize for this experience and never did they say we will take care of it via XYZ actions.

      ***** ****** * Canadian Appliance Source in Victoria BC. & **********. We purchased a ********** Professional Convection/Microwave (model #**********) on July 30, 2022. We paid $948.09.
      The appliance did not work properly or as advertised from the very beginning. We bought it to use as a convection/microwave. ***********' ad as well as the operating manual stated the oven would bake to temps in excess of 425 deg F. This was NOT TRUE. From the beginning, the oven could barely reach 325 deg F. and even that would take over an hour. The microwave part of the oven seemed to be fine.
      Then, in Dec/22, the oven ceased to operate at all. We called CAS on Dec 2/22. They promptly informed us they would do absolutely NOTHING to help us except provide a phone number to **********.
      Warranty had to be handled by ********** themselves. We finally got through to them after great difficulty actually contacting a real person (on hold for an hour, no return phone calls, etc.). We wanted our money back. The oven was useless for our purpose. ********** refused to refund, but sent out their official repair guy instead. We have been informed by a reliable source that the oven was INCAPABLE of reaching the ad temps because the heating element was TOO SMALL! Unbeleivable! Buyers, check reviews before you purchased.
      At any rate, he checked the oven out and decided it needed a new circuit board which he would have to order. He returned after a bit of time, repaired the oven and I reinstalled it. We were unhappy because we wanted our money refunded but decided to take our lumps.
      It is now the morning of 8-10-23, 1 yr-9days after we purchased the oven. The convection oven has completely stopped working. It does not heat up at all. NOT ALL!! And now, there is no warranty as we are 9 DAYS past the warranty period.
      We feel completely ripped off by CAS. We feel even more ripped off by ********** whom we thought was a good name and was well established. EXTREMELY POOR MANUFACTURE, SALES, & SERVICE.

      However, all of our products come with a warranty, which is upheld by the manufacturer.


      The manufacturer may choose to honor the warranty on the appliance by repairing the appliance. 


      As an authorized retailer, we are unable to take back an item, unless this is approved by the manufacturer.


      Kindly note that the warranty on your appliance is valid for one calendar year and any issue reported after this period would not be addressed under the same plan.


      This is why we recommend an extended warranty plan to our customers, for extra coverage on their investment.


      We can see that this was not added to you order, which is why we would be unable to assist after tge first year of warranty has expired.

      I bought a new range hood( 24 inch ) at the price of $235.27 with regular price. During the installation and I found it didnt fit my kitchen in my rental apartment, so I went back for returning. CAS rejected my return request and they said i opened the box, so it is final sasle. No body told me that I can not return once I open the box, and no one told me that it was final sales during the purchase and the prices.
      I strongly suggest NOT to buy anything from this company as everything you buy will be final, and you will have poor customer services.
