      I ordered the ** ******* *** ** *** washer/dryer combo. Paid my deposit and informed the time would not be in stock until September- no problem.
      A couple days letter I received a call from customer service and they stated the item was discontinued by the manufacturer (weird since the item is brand new). They wanted to know if I would like a refund. No problem.
      They would not do a refund unless I provide my credit card info over the phone. RED FLAG. I was not comfortable providing info over the phone through a non secure (and recorded) method. They would not refund me unless I provided my credit card details.
      I called the manufacturer; they said this item is new, not discontinued, and will be ramping up production.
      This has been the worst experience I’ve had purchasing an appliance.
      There are many security issues and flaws with the company’s process.

      Please understand that when a product is discontinued on our end, it can simply mean that we no longer carry this model - not necessarily that is no longer being manufactured.


      In regards to your refund, please note that CAS does not store your card details.


      Similar to other retailers as well as businesses like hotels and resorts, we use a payment processor that creates a "link" to the customer's credit card details that in turn generates an 'identifier' or 'token' so that we are able to charge payments or process a refund without collecting the credit card information again. 


      To stay compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) we cannot store card numbers in our system. Therefore, if our backend system was ever hacked, the only information that would be available would be the last 4 digits of the credit card.


      In your case, we needed to collect the credit car details in order to create a profile for the refund, after which we would only have the last 4 digits of your card.


      We can see that the details were eventually provided, and your refund was processed.

      I was looking for a dishwasher, and had a very nice experience in store with Mehdi, the salesperson, who was courteous, professional, efficient, honest and not pushy. He is the only redeeming quality of this place.
      The delivery (and pickup of the old dishwasher), on the other hand, plus the customer service was a complete joke. Delivery was scheduled for between 1pm and 5pm, with a specific ETA of 3:25 pm when I checked the tracking number upon waking up. Instead, I get a call at 9:30 am from the delivery people telling me that they would arrive in half an hour. I rushed to disconnect all the cables from the old dishwasher, but could not empty it of the old water (the drainage pump malfunctioned). The delivery people arrived and delivered the new machine. When they lifted up the old machine, some water fell out, and they refused to take it because there was water in it (which I would have had time to remove had they not arrived 6 hours early). So they left it in front of my door.
      The customer service (Varsha) was equally useless. She did not bother answering the chat service, and after numerous calls, told us that we would have to pay $90 for the delivery people to come back to pick it up. I refused, and she told me that she would call me back to reschedule (which she did not). Instead, I get an email scheduling a pickup... but only if I paid $90 plus tax. At this point, I gave up and took down the machine myself.
      Beyond this, installation was also an issue. When installing the new machine (a floor model), I bought the junction box that the website noted was missing from this model. Yet there was no mention of other important pieces missing, like an elbow connector necessary for the water line, nor a toe panel (which is more cosmetic). I had to buy those parts myself.

      I needed an apartment-sized dryer for my tenant that would operate on 120 volts and be non-vented. This was to replace one made by *******, who, it seemed, had gone out of the dryer business. I could not even get parts! I thought CAS would be a good place to find what I wanted, as they had a broad range of manufacturers. Unfortunately, their website did not have filters for my requirements. I found it very cumbersome checking each apartment-sized dryer for all its specifications, so I decided to use the agent that popped up on my screen.
      I talked to him on the phone and gave him my requirements. I ordered the dryer he came up with. The specification rated it 120/240 Volts. I guess he assumed that it was dual-voltage and would work on either; whereas it required a dryer socket that would provide both! When the dryer arrived, it was immediately apparent that it would not plug into a 120 volt socket. I happened to be in **** ***** on another matter. The appliance salesman there found a dryer that met my needs. I ordered that dryer from CAS, thinking that I should give them the business for their trouble. The right dryer arrived and the wrong dryer was taken away. Even though it was CAS’s mistake, they still charged me a 25% restocking fee and shipping for the wrong dryer.

Washer was delivered and did not function properly from day 1, informed store and they stated it could not be returned as it had been delivered. Not sure how they can sell products that turn out to be faulty and not allow for a refund and instead defer to the manufacturer to hopefully sort it out.       Kindly understand that CAS does not take back appliances which have been installed and used.


      We can also see that our After Sales team offered to initiate a service call with the manufacturer on your behalf and, should they not have been able to fix the unit, they would have replaced it, under the cosmetic warranty which they hold.


      This was refused.


      Moreover, our After Sales Team offered $500 for the damages to this unit, which was accepted and refunded.

      I am writing this review in absolute disbelief and disappointment with this store. I don’t write negative reviews but this one hit my nerves from the amount of disrespect and contempt I received from this store.

      We purchased a fridge from this store on June 1 and the sales advisor Mohitdeep Kahlon said that he is going to send us a $100 visa card, instead of a discount, that could be used anywhere to purchase anything, in two days via email. Two weeks passed, and after receiving no replies to our email, we stopped by the store and were told that he was on vacation. He replied by email the very next day and asked me to call, which I did and he again promised that I will receive it by email in two days. Another two weeks passed and I received a $100 Master card voucher that could only be used for purchasing Whirlpool appliances by June 2024. I emailed again, no response, and called again and Mohitdeep Kahlon says he didn’t know that they couldn’t actually issue open visa cards; he added that he never received my emails interestingly, after replying to my previous email before. I asked him to speak with the manager to find a solution since he promised at the time clearly. The funny thing is, even if he had sent that Whirlpool master card in “two days” as he promised, I wouldn’t have been mad, because we had to change our dryer in the meantime and purchased a Whirlpool one through the Brick (there is a reason why we didn’t go back to CAS again); but his “two days” are total lies apparently, and now I am really angry for the lack of communication as well as that I have been following up on this matter for a whole month when I shouldn’t have to. What am I supposed to do with a Whirlpool master card now? Buying another appliance when I don’t need one???

      The product lines are well known and without a doubt quality products. The problem for me was the follow up sales service. After a few months, one of the burner knobs on our gas stove broke. I went to the Canadian appliance Source store to see if they would be able to point me in the right direction to get a replacement. The comment was, "Not our problem, call the manufacturer!" The sales person then turned around and walked away. You spend almost $2,000. on a stove you would think you would get better service?

      Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had!!! ** *** **** ****. When you are buying from them the sales representatives seem great. Once it comes to delivery and installation, well what can I say but please people the "sucker teeth" came out. I bought a stackable washer and dryer unit in May and as of yet it hasn't been installed! 3 charges of 89.95 plus countless hours on the phone and "chat" to try to come to a resolution for not installing them. The first time was that I need to call a plumber to disconnect a hose. Plumber called, second time, my dryer fan needed to be inspected, ****** ******* called. I was assured from their techs that everything was ready to go. Third time they could not locate the stacking kit that was delivered downstairs to the laundry room with the washer and dryer . I do not use my downstairs other than for laundry. "disappeared" after the installation and Joseph crew came that I was not aware Fourth time there was a problem with the dryer vent AGAIN!! All of this in a small area of my basement where I had stackable washer and dryer since 2009!! I have been
      going to the laundry mat for the last 2 months after paying 3 000.00 for a washer and dryer that I cant use because they won't install it.

      The venting outside was not secure, which is why the installation was not completed.

      I am extremely disappointed with CAS. I had an ** range delivered and two days later, the front left burner control knob shorted out and sent flames shooting out . I contacted my salesman and was referred to Customer Aftercare. I was instructed not to use the range as it is a Safety Hazard. The stove needs three replacement parts to fix it. I have been without a stove for a week so far. CAS will not return or exchange the stove. The sales man Jason B. passes the buck to **. ** passes the buck insisting the range is fixable. I paid a lot a money for a new stove. What I ended up with is equivalent to an Open Box appliance. I am getting no support from CAS. * ** *** ********* **** *******
