      For over 1 year they have contacted me asking for ****** ****, I have now begun legal action against MJR capital as ****** **** has never been at this number. * **** ***** * ******** ********* **** *** **** *** ********** *** ********** *********** I have also filed complaints with the federal government and the local authorities. No matter how many times I tell them, MJR continues to spoof numbers from across the country and ****** me.

      only informed us on 10Jul2024 that we had the wrong number.  Once you
      informed us, our agent removed the number.  When you contacted us through

      MJR, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario since 1995,
      is a respected collection agency. We understand that receiving communications
      from us can be frustrating. However, we only contact individuals if a credit
      grantor has assigned us an outstanding account with your information. Until a
      payment is made to us or reported to us by the credit grantor, we are committed
      to reaching out for payment as per our agreement with the credit grantor. Since
      you made the payment directly to the credit grantor, they notified us as per
      their update process. As soon as we received notification that your account was
      paid in full, we updated our records and stopped communication.  This
      process could have been expedited had you provided us with your payment
      details.

      is a nationally-licensed collection agency.  Our licenses with every
      Canadian Province and Territory are in good standing. We understand that
      receiving communications from us can be frustrating. However, we only contact
      individuals if a credit grantor has assigned us an outstanding account with
      your information. In your case, we had incorrect information, but we had no way
      of knowing this until we received appropriate verification from you.  Once
      received, we immediately updated our records and ceased communication with
      you.  Our team followed the correct procedures and all applicable laws
      given the circumstances.

      I am getting a call by phone name, David. Today I answered. The lady want to confirm my identity... As the place where I was while talking was so much noise and couldn't listen to her.
      If someone calls me and asks me to confirm my identity, I get frustrated as I should know the reason first.
      Next time, please tell your reason for calling and ask whatever....
      She hung up the phone while am trying to ...

      consumers, our clients expect us to first verify that we are speaking to the
      correct party before we are able to disclose any details of the outstanding
      debt.  The verification process we conduct is similar to what you experience
      when you contact your bank, insurance company or other creditors.  When
      verifying, we ask for full address and date of birth.

      I’ve been contacted by MJR and they told me they were looking for me to pay a debt at a bank I closed accounts with over two years ago. They said it was a matter of an overdraft protection that was not cleared up. Ya, I called the banks customer service and was told that there were zero debts that were associated with any of my accounts. They even transferred me to the bank’s collections department and they also confirmed that there were zero debts associated with my previous accounts, and added, that there policy is to have all overdraft debt paid in full at the time of closing an account or they cannot close that account. Just to confirm what I was told over the phone, I also stopped at the branch that I used to deal with and they also confirmed that there was never a debt owed to them from me.

      These people are debt collectors.
      After being told they were calling a wrong number and we are not the person they are looking for, they continue to harrass us at all hours of the day and night with multiple daily calls, waking us in the mirning and late at night. I have blocked at least a dozen phone numbers, and sent a letter to the company to cease and desist, but they have not taken my phone number out of this system. ** ***** *** * **** **** ****** * ***** ***** ***
