I called back spoke to a different person and she transferred me to another person who was more rude than the first guy. Claiming I refused to verify. After being too scared to answer the phone because of my debts for way too long, I finally started the process with MJR. They made me a deal and I agreed to the deal and then they passed me on the phone to someone else. That was a week ago and since then they have not answered any of my calls as I'm trying to sort out this mess. It has been extremely frustrating to finally take the matters into my hands only to be ignored by the people that were hounding me for so long. I am honestly feeling ******* at this point because I gave so much information to them and now they are just not answering my messages or returning my calls and emails.MJR Capital Services Inc

The process usually takes 10-15 days after the payment has been made. MJR received notification of your payments on 21Aug2023 and release letters were emailed to you on 29Aug2023. Was emailed a week ago about an open file under my name - it was indeed a debt I owed and I followed the steps provided to me immediately and emailed back in 7 minutes. I have now sent 4 emails asking to have a confirmation that my file was paid in full and closed and have not heard a SINGLE WORD BACK from this company in regards to my payment being received. *********** **** multiple phone calls by different numbers. A debt collection company - as per the rights of any Canadian citizen; "they are not allowed to contact you more than 3 times in a 7-day period without your consent".
This must be a **** company because they're completely inconsistent with actual ways debt collection goes.
(Way above and beyond the daily calls, spam calls all day from 10am to 9pm)
Even if myself did owe any debts to collection - this is an infringement of rights. NOW... any claims or debts to myself or anyone affiliated now are to be void and null.
If this persists on a regular basis, we can talk to a lawyer and sue for punitive damages as well as harrassment.
These people might be calling from Canada, but they are not from Canada and so they do not consider basic rights of citizens in this country. They don't care about anyone else's time and they completely don't care about their own time. This matter is closed.MJR Capital Services Inc

My dad had a debt with ***** **** for $400ish dollars. He died 2 years ago. They’re still ********* us for this money.

Unfortunately accounts are assigned to us for collections and for whatever reason, the appropriate paperwork was not received and processed prior to our collection efforts. We did not receive sufficient information from you to locate an account. This company contacted me in February 2023. I made an arrangement with the young girl that had my file and made a payment of 263$ through my bank account. I made the payment on the phone with her and gave her the reference number. * ***** *** ********** ** ** *** * ****.
When she made her initial call, i told her it was not the right time but to give me a few days and I would have an answer by the following week. When i spoke to her she said no worries and to give her a call back. I called her the Friday not having agreed to anything yet and made the payment that same day once she told me it was about $260.
I continued receiving emails for about a month now and finally called and spoke to * **** ***** Chris. Telling me I didn’t pay the account and they can pull my calls because they’re recorded. I told him * **** **** **** ******** *** **** *** **** ****** ****** **** ******* ** * **** ** ****. They tell you they would settle for one amount and then come back with a different story months later.
