  I have no debts or business with this company but have been called numerous times for reasons of a debt that I do not have. Furthermore contact has been conducted using at this point five different phone numbers. ****** **** ** **** ****** * *****

MJR is a collection agency and various credit grantors including banks, insurance companies, utilities, finance companies, governments and institutions assign overdue accounts to us for collection. While we understand that it's frustrating to receive our calls, we ask that you answer it. If we are contacting your number and asking for someone else, we will immediately remove your number from our file. If you have an outstanding matter, regulations required that we first need to verify that you are the correct person, and then we will tell you what it's about and work out a resolution.

  Same experience. Calls are constant. I live in PST time in the US and was woken up at 5am this morning and that wasn’t the first time They are looking for someone with a different last name. I don’t answer because it comes up as Likely Spam. Haven’t received anything in writing either. I am not going to contact them.
  Guess I have to start turning off my phone at night ****** ** ****** ** ******* *** ***** ** ******* ** * ***** **** ** ** ****.

  Thank you for your comments. Since 1995, MJR has collected outstanding accounts that are assigned to us from our clients which include major banks, finance companies, utilities, insurance companies, auto finance companies, colleges/universities, hospitals, government debts and more. We do not scam people. When accounts are assigned to us, we send a collection notice to the name and address we are given.
  Sometimes the information we get is not correct, but we don't know that unless you tell us. As per the Ontario Government website, ****************, if you feel you don't owe the amount, call the agency and let them know. We provided a toll free number in our notice. Please call us so that we can update our records accordingly.

  Is this place a scam? They keep calling and asking me to provide personal information without disclosing the name of my so called debtor or any amount due. They are rude and tell me to look the company up but I only find negative reviews. I do not owe any money but the same person named Joanne keeps calling. I’m being harassed during work hours.

  Y’all need to stop ******* calling me honestly I have a baby and every time you call you wake her up and she starts screaming. The last time you called me phone you guys racked up 300$ in long distance charges REMOVE my name from your list and all documents, i asked for a manager or someone hire and the guy threatened me with going to my employer I’m not working clearly, I’m on maternity leave leave me *** **** alone
