1 starAttempt to purchase anythign that is online by a 3rd party seller and you will receive a discount. After going through the purchase flow, they will tack on the "discount" as delivery fees, even though they advertise free delivery on most products. **** ** **** ***********Review fromSushant B

1 starI placed an order with Walmart on March 11, and I still haven’t received my item or a refund. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times by phone and chat, and every time they tell me, “It will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours.” But nothing ever happens.
It’s been nearly a month, and I’m still being told that the issue is under investigation by top management. Meanwhile, I’m left without the product I paid for or my money back.
This level of service is unacceptable. I need Walmart to fix this immediately and issue my refund. I’ve been more than patient, but this has gone too far.Review fromBo A

1 starI wanted a ******** espresso machine. I knew exactly which model I wanted, did my research, and found that Walmart was selling it for $20 less than the competition—$866 after tax. Sweet deal, right?
Wrong.
I ordered it, expecting a brand-new machine to be shipped to my doorstep. The delivery was delayed by a day, and unfortunately, I had to leave for a 31-day work trip. When I finally got back home, I saw the package sitting there—except, instead of a Walmart box, it was a **** ***** box. ***** **** *** *** **** **.
I opened it up and boom—used, dirty, scuffed, and covered in clear tape with sticky residue all over it. Not exactly what you expect when dropping nearly $900.
Shocked, I called Walmart’s customer service, expecting some level of accountability. Instead, I got this:
“Oh, that was sold by a third-party seller.”
“It actually says in small letters that it’s used.”
“You’re past the 30-day return period.”
“There’s nothing we can do.”
Excuse me?! So, let’s break this down:
Why You ****** ***** Buy from Walmart Online
You’re Not Actually Buying from Walmart. You’re buying from some random third-party seller while Walmart plays middleman.
They Don’t Take Responsibility. ****** ******* ***** *** ******* ******** ******** Walmart washes its hands clean if anything goes wrong.
The “Used” Label is Practically Hidden. They don’t put it in big, bold letters where a normal human would see it. Instead, it’s buried in the fine print like they’re trying to trick you.
So basically, Walmart Online is like ******** Marketplace, but with a corporate logo slapped on it. They take zero accountability, hide important details, and if you get *******? That’s on you.
******** **** * **** ** ****** ******** ** buying from Walmart Online—****** ****** ***** **** *** ***** *** ** ***** *** ***** end up with a broken-down machine that looks like it was last used in a gas station break room.Review fromOlga P

1 starWe order an accordion door when we received the package the box was broken on delivery. When we opened the product it was broken in two places. We have called Walmart Canada 4 times in the last 2 weeks only to be told that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hrs and that it has been sent to the escalation team. Is there actually an escalation team? No help has been given to resolve the issue no contact has been made by the escalation team. 1 starI have been a long time customer using online pickup and delivery and will be canceling today. The last few order experiences were so bad, I can hardly believe it is real. Twice my order simply disappeared after the driver picked up, which I eventually was refunded but was given no explanation, but today really blew my mind. I created an order for delivery, paid for the order and the money was taken out of my account. A few minutes later I received a notification that the order was cancelled by the store yet did not get my money back. I called a rep and was told I was not charged, it is a hold that will be released in 5 to 7 business days. I told the rep we needed that money to buy food and could not wait 5 to 7 business days and she simply repeated that we were not charged that it was a hold that would be released in 5 to 7 business days and no matter what we said she kept repeating the same thing. We asked to speak to a manager and she said she would put me through but the manager or supervisor would say the same thing and kept repeating this when we asked to be put through until I snapped and yelled to be put through NOW. Unfortunately for us, the manager did nothing but the same thing, kept repeating the same answer, word for word, until we gave up and hung up. ** ********** ** ***** *** ****** ****** *** ***** *** ** **** *** ***** **** ***** ** *** **** *** * ** * ******** **** and there's nothing we can do about it. 1 starI placed an order yesterday and paid extra to be delivered today. 10 minutes before the arrival window I am notified half my order is not available. I paid extra for nothing. I called and had my order cancelled. They have no business putting it on the website if it's sold out. THEN
you get to talk to an agent that barely speaks English and is in a call Centre that is screaming loud.
Walmart is only decent if you go in person, their online ordering is garbage.Review fromBaljinder B

1 starNo warranty on appliances at all.
* **** ** **** *** ********* ****** **** purchase any Appliances at Walmart.
Once 30 day return period is over, you are stuck. Manufacturers warranty doesn't cover anything purchased in Canada. I was shocked to hear this.
In May 2024, I purchased a fridge. Within 6 months it stopped working. Assuming that I still have manufacturers warranty, l called the number printed on the sticker. They told me that the warranty is valid only in the USA. Since I purchased it in Canada, there's nothing they could do. They told me to contact the retailer for refund or to get it repaired.
Walmart customer service representative kept repeating that after 30 days there's no return or refund. I escalated it and got the same answer. I am stuck with it now.
This is totally unbelievable that a retailer like Walmart is not aware of the warranty restrictions. If they know it then why are they selling appliances in Canada?
I will Never ever buy anything from Walmart again.Review fromJay S
