      They came to my door at 6pm on a friday night and told me that they were here to make sure **** wasn’t over charging us (us being the tenants in the building) I thought my landlord had sent them so i did what she asked me to do, i was standing there in a TOWEL and i just wanted to get it over with. 15 minutes later we’re finally done and I get an email saying i’ve switched energy providers. I call **** in tears asking what can be done, luckily they’re aware of this ******** company and told me once SFE switched my energy that **** will switch it back. The text message agreement also said I have 3 business days to cancel so i’ll be calling them the second their customer service call center opens up. This company should not be allowed to go on like this, tricking people into signing up. NOT ONCE did this woman say that they were switching my energy providers she just kept saying that they’re checking to make sure **** wasn’t overcharging people. I feel so stupid for even answering the door, the shame and embarrassment that this has caused is unreal.

      This company **** to try and get customers. They came by on Monday night at 8:00pm to every door in our apartment complex claiming they were with our utility company. The only reason we spoke with them, and I believe others did, is that they falsely identified as representatives from our current utility company. Finally 10 minutes later you can get them to give you a business card which states they are NOT with any utility service. But they don't tell you that until you've started to give them your information.

      They gave false information and when questioned **** saying I was already getting energy from them through ** *** **  I want my contract cancelled.

      When I signed up with SFE Energy last year, I specifically asked for the BUDGET. After being told they could not provide me with a Budget, I declined. The "Sales Person" quickly got on the phone with SFE and I was told that I could participate in a Budget. They lied! I now have a $700 gas bill! I am cancelling my service with SFE but not before having to pay $375 in Early Cancellation Fees. **** ******* ****** *** ** ** ********* *** *** ********* ****** ** *********** ** **** *** *** *** ******* ****.

      The employee to this company was banging on my door I told him I was not interested in his services. He made me feel pressure into signing up with him cuz he told me that they were not stopped coming to my home I tried to cancel the services the lady over the phone to me there will be a cancellation fee complaining about her their employee. She told me that they were going to file a complaint for me and then so I won't end up with the cancellation fee two weeks later I got a $400 cancellation fee. I feel this company is very unprofessional their employees should not be making people feel pressured into signing up with their company

      A rep came to my door and somehow got me to sign up a contract to CHANGE my gas provider. I misunderstood him because he kept giving me a *** brochure that showed my address on it, so I thought he was representing *** to help change my rate. I didn't realize I changed who provides me my gas until after he left. I've been trying to call their customer service numbers and they don't answer; they say call at regular business hours but they don't even tell you when their regular business hours. I feel like the rep that came to my house purposefully mislead me to believe that *** was doing me the service of trying to lower my costs.
      I do NOT want to change my gas provider, and I would like assistance to help me cancel this contract with SFE Energy. They came do my door last night; Oct 3, 2023.       The door to door salesperson **** *** said they were sent out by **** to make sure I’m being charged the correct amount. After letting them see my bill, they signed me up for their services without even telling me! They told me that they are only making sure my rates won’t go up. They said nothing about switching me over to their services! Fortunately I called customer service that same day and was able to cancel before it went into effect, so I was lucky. **** **** **** *** ******* **** **** *** ** **** **** ***** ******* ****** ** **** *****

      These folks need to be in SERIOUSLY INVESTIGATED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA UTILITY COMMMISION.. I am a senior and this the second time I have been ******* *** ****** by these folks. The first time I paid their almost $300 termination fee... The second time they sent these impressionable kids knocking on my door and I kept telling them about 1st time I was ****** because I didn't want to do my Gas bill and he promised that if I canceled I wouldn't be charged. First off they use these kids to get folks to open their door during the day when they know seniors are home alone. The text they send for your immediate signature is on a cell in tiny print and the first thing they should emphasize is "IF YOU CANCEL EARLY ....... " This time when I canceled they sent me another $255. I can not afford to pay this from my SS retirement. The letter is dated 7/8/23 which I received 8/15/23 and threatened that it needs to be paid by 8/24/23.. Basically they go door to door promising cheaper prices, energy efficiency, etc, but there are charges not explicit in the pitch. And, it is appalling that they use innocent youngsters in this apparently ok ***... At this point and at my age, I do not give a darn about clean air or their threat of "further collection". I have lived a long time with a god credit score and working in this city and state paying taxes. I have worked longer than these kids ages. PLEASE STOP COMING TO MY DOOR... I am forwarding this as many authorities that I can think of. Enough already!!
