      Im 2020 I had call to cancel my subscription for 2 reasons.
      One:
      I was charged $35.64 and I signed with the guy who came knocking on my door for a plan that was less than $10.
      Two: They did find the paperwork showing the $25 plus some cents over charge. So I asked to cancel it they then said I would owe them I was like how if you charged me the amount of $35.64 it should break even the guy then saw I should be reimbursed but they do not do reimbursements. I said cancel. Well 3 days ago in this year 2023. I ** ********* ** **** looked at the paper statement and lo and behold still being charged $35. When I called I was told I called in a complaint back then. So the lady canceled my subscription which I never renewed over the years. I was like so I've been charged $1.710.72 since 2020. She said nothing she can do I said even with the @$10 monthly charge the company overcharged me $1200 and I was told they can only cancel. This is so wrong it really really is. I would never ever suggest this company to anyone.

      The took my money I paid them twice in June I cancelled my service on June 19th they didn't send my paperwork to *** until the 14th and I still had to pay them for this month they didn't want to listen to what I had to say because they didn't want to pay me my money back ** ***** ** **** **** ** **** ******** *** *** ******* **** **** **** **** *****

      I signed up with this third party supplier for my gas and electricity. From what the agent said, it could save me money and according to the agent I could try it out and if I don’t like it I could cancel. The agreement was done over the phone and did not get a broken down agreement until I signed up. I called after 2 months to cancel after my bills were extremely high. They tried offering me a lower rate and told me if I canceled there was a cancellation fee after the agent told me that there was no contract and cancellation fee when I signed up. I eventually convinced them to waive the cancellation fee and ended my service through them. They tried tricking me into signing up for the agreement and would not let me read any “fine print” or have a visual copy of the agreement before agreeing to the terms. How is this even legal?!?!?

      Misrepresented themselves when they visited my home. Thought they were with ****. I just got a $300 bill in the mail for staying with ****. These people shouldn't be allowed to stay in business.

      I have contacted the company numerous times for them to remove themselves from my *** account and was told I have to pay. With that said this was unauthorized and it made my bill higher than two mortgage payments.

      *** *** ***** ********* **** **** **** **** *** ** **** ** **** **** **** ***** ** *** **** ***** ****. Feel free to read on and get details of my story.
      We moved out of California in the beginning of Aug 2022. I received an account closure notice from SFE Energy dated Aug. 30, 2022. For being a first bill ever from SFE Energy, it stated to pay $254.04 by Sep 14, 2022 to prevent collections. Upon calling SFE Energy they couldn't locate the account after providing them the customer ID number, agreement number, name or address listed on the bill. I informed her it was * **** as PG&E was our electric company but would happily pay the $44.04 gas charge if SFE Energy could prove the bill was valid and we were a customer but I would definitely not be paying the $210 in cancellation fees. She took my information and said she would send the account in for review and someone would get back to me in 5-7 business days.
      My husband paid the bill to avoid the collections threat. SFE Energy never called back. I sent them a letter in Nov. 2022 informing them that failure to respond to my inquiry within two weeks would result in a complaint being filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). On the 14th day I received a response via email, which was interesting since that information wasn't provided in the letter. They informed me they were looking into my inquiry and would get back to me. Then they proceeded to give me the run around. After several stall tactics I told them I was going to the BBB if I wasn't refunded as I had provided them with proof of current address. They finally sent a reimbursement check in Jan. 2023 for the $210 cancellation fee and thanked me for being a valued customer. SFE Energy didn't prove that I was a customer and they didn't reimburse the $44.04 gas charge. It took almost 6 months but I did receive the bulk of the money back.

      **** **** *** ** **** They will tell you that your electric/gas company sent you. They will *** about how they can save you money. They will try to force you to get on the phone and agree to question prompts. ********* ***** ** **** *****

      **** ******* ** ******* *******. I called them to cancel my account and they **** *** ***** ** tell me I have to pay an early cancellation fee. Of 200+ dollars. I am beyond upset. When they knock on my door they never told me. They told me my bill will never go up and it will stay the same. * **** **** ******* **** **** **** *** ********** I will be reaching out to my local attorney general office to report *** ********** ** this company *** ** *** **** ** **** *****

      Philadelphia -- SFE uses contractors as sales reps, apparently to dodge responsibility for claims made by employees. Sales rep's pitch was riddled with **** *** evasions. Stated that he was offering a program to "level" gas and electric bills across seasons, sponsored by **** (electric) and ***.(gas). I asked if this was a supplier switch, and he explicitly said, "no". Upon reading the contract, I found that was an ******** ***. Cannot read the contract before signing. The only positive was that they appeared to respect timely notices of recission by email and by postal mail. I will be watching my bills to see if they really cancelled.

      A female came to my house she said that **** had sent out a request to do a survey inside the house and I didn’t schedule with them so **** would be raising the cost of electric I knew that the utility companies had proposed for a increase, I had not been feeling that well and she said she would return, a man came out and he said that **** had sent out a notice I explained I didn’t have 1 I asked when he said last year and I said I moved here in August and I don’t recall a notice he said he was from **** I allowed him In I’ve started seeing a hike in my utilities I told him I do not want to change anything with my utility company he assured me nothing would change LIES they also without permission added my gas and now are billing me 262 dollars or it will go into collection
