********** *** ******** *** ****** ******** ***** ***** Everything they do is to dissuade you from filing a warranty claim. RCA 50" totally useless in less than 8 months. They keep insisting that you send photos but don't provide anything but an email. No phone provided to text pictures despite multiple requests. Going after them the way they will learn by filing with state Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Division. ** **** ******** ********* *** ***** **** ***** *** *** ******** ****** **** *** ***  Real scumbag group. Walmart of little help as they only refer you to this company who does nothing to honor their legal commitments.

Bought a new *** TV and have been trying to get the browser updated so that I am able to watch *********. I have contacted them multiple times without having anybody call me back in order to get this resolved. I keep being told that somebody would contact me within 72 hours and never get a phone call back, my initial request was in the middle of December. It is now the beginning of March and still no resolution not happy at all.

Purchased a Frigidaire mini retro fridge from ******. It was missing both handles and the **** bottle opener. Frigidaire referred me to Curtis International. Although I did receive all parts in the end, the process was lengthy and extremely frustrating.
It was reasonable to ask for proof of purchase and model/serial numbers, however, they also requested many photos and were repeatedly dissatisfied with some of the photos that I submitted. Also, their initial reaction was total push back to each part needed, referring me back to ******.
As I said, in the end, I did receive all missing parts. Once they accepted my case and assigned a PTS number, communication with the Curtis International Customer Service Rep was acceptable.

No customer service whatsoever ! Purchased an ice maker from *** and after 6 months use, it is not working properly. Filled out the claim form on 1.6.23 and have heard nothing since that time after multiple emails requesting a status update. Totally unprofessional company and sorry I ever purchased this product ! Still waiting for a response.

      Absolutely the worst company to deal with. ** *** *** *** ******** **** *** ******** ** **** ******** (********** uses them for their smaller appliances!)
Back story - I recieved a baby pink ********** stand mixer for my birthday, to match my kitchen ware and baking supplies, was the only reason this unit was purchased. Upon using it, it had a glitch that it took me tapping it to make it actually start. I was within the warranty period so I reached out to ********** who informed me to contact Curtis International as they were the ones who technically produced the unit and would need to handle the claim.
I called in and the rep said they would create a ticket and everything would be handled by email. I was given a claim number and advised to do a "field destroy" and send pics of everything properly completed.
I followed the instructions and was advised a cheque or replacement unit would be sent in 4 - 6 weeks. I sent a response back requesting that if the proper color could not be sent to please send the cheque as it was the only reason the unit was purchased.
Fast forward to 2- 3 weeks later, a black unit is delivered. I call in and am advised that they don't deal with concerns on the phone and to bring up my concerns via the original email.
I respond via the email and am told they are following "warranty policies". When i point out that a cheque was obviously part of their "warranty policies" as it was mentioned on every email as a possibility, I was ignored and basically got the same responses and dodges.
I requested to speak to a manager and a return label for the wrong unit and was ignored again and basically told they were closing the ticket and they reserved the right to do w.e they wanted with regards to the warranty.
I have requested again to speak to some sort of upper management and have even provided a number to be contacted.
      Horrible horrible customer service

I bought a countertop ice maker and it broke 6 months after the purchase. Curtis International made me ship it back to them and then sent me a refund. It cost $100 to ship that thing back to them and now they won't refund the cost of shipping. They say it's my responsibility. So I only got half the refund if you take into account the shipping cost. That is unacceptable for a large corporation $100 is a lot of money. Customer Service is horrible they just keep sending the same email back to me and it's never been escalated to someone higher up as I have asked several times.

This company is absolutely horrendous to deal with. I had a defective television, contacted them. They sent me instructions on various things I had to do to qualify the return (including cutting the cord, scratching a return number in to the back of the unit, destroying the serial number sticker) - all which seemed reasonable. After providing the required photos of the work, they continued to ask for more - more photos, *new* requirements to qualify the return - it has been a never ending process. They do not return emails in a timely manner, yet give deadlines that we must reply within a certain timeframe. It's exhausting. And, they had mentioned that once all is said and done, a new until will take up to a month, and/or a refund will take up to 6 weeks. Longer than I even owned the television. Would be easier to return it to the store, but that isn't an option. Brutal.

My claim is exactly like the rest of these claims. Purchased a 58” TV and it stopped working after a few months. Started and thought I completed the insurance process to get my tv replaced. But after scratching the claim number into the screen and cutting the cord, still nothing! I don’t even have $400 to waste. I just would like my tv replaced or this company held accountable and issuing a refund or anything at this point.

      * * * * * * * * * * * We've had *** TVs in the past. The after-sales support used to be fine. HOWEVER, a year and a half ago, we purchased TWO *** 7-inch portable TVs.
A few days ago, both stopped showing any picture, although the electrical power (red) light would come on. We thought perhaps the battery pack inside had expired and needed to be replaced (need soldering for that, as well as special order).
QUESTI0N: If we find the battery pack and replace it, would each of the TV work? Or, the TVs are now discardable and should themselves be replaced (nothing to do with the battery pack)? THEREFORE, we tried contacting *** (that's Curtis International). Very long hold time, and the rep hung up on me when I inquired, saying to me that she wasn't a technician. Then I called back. After another 20-30-minute wait time, someone answered and impolitely demanded the model numbers, but - after a few minutes - when I returned with the model numbers, she hung up on me. Of course, I was very polite throughout the ordeal. I called yet another time and the robot responded with "there's no one to answer your call at this time." (Couldn't leave a message for a return call, either).
LESSON: We are going to test the support in the future BEFORE buying a particular brand. For example, we've stopped buying any **** products (because of the poor support), while **** is decent. It's always a good idea to find out the support quality rather than just go for a slightly discounted price.
