We had 19 windows replaced - a large and expensive renovation for us. The installers ************ *** **** *** didn't care about the mess they made. With the windy, cold weather in mid-November 2022, the installers removed most of the old windows before they installed any new ones. So our meticulously-kept home now had a cold wind blowing through it along with spreading all the dust and debris around most of the house. The temperature in the house dropped to 6°C, close to the cooler outside temp. The process should be to remove a few windows, one room at a time, to keep the house at a decent temperature and to keep the mess to a minimum and under control. The installers didn't remove their boots and tracked the dust/debris everywhere in the house. A lot of the debris from the removal stage was tossed out of the windows to the ground outside leaving marks on our patterned concrete. The installers used my 2-car garage as a worksite to cut the various MDF trim pieces leaving super-fine MDF sawdust on everything in the garage including my car, items, tools, equipment and shelving. I requested some monetary compensation for the poor installation experience ** **** ****** *** ****. We did spend many hours and effort to clean up and bring the house back to its original meticulous condition. After trying for over a year with various customer service personnel to get a resolution, Nordik offered a fraction of my request and insisted I sign a legal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to keep the settlement confidential in order to get the paltry amount. Of course, I declined *** ******* ** ***** ****** ** **** ***** ********* ********* ** **** ***** *** **** * ******* *** ********** ****** **** ******** ********** **** **** ******* **** * ******** *** **** * *********Nordik Windows & Doors

We bought a new balcony door and front double doors from Nordik that were installed in February of this year. The balcony door was installed damaged but they have since rectified that by installing a new door. Our front doors have had a draft coming through the middle connector for both doors since they were installed. We have had two service technicians back and they have added weatherstripping and some foam along the inside panel which doesn’t look great and has not fixed the draft. The last service technician told me that drafts in a door are normal and all doors have drafts. This is such a ridiculous statement and it makes me think that the company doesn’t want to repair the door properly and wants us to stop reaching out. The service technician that replaced our balcony door looked at our front doors and confirmed that there is a draft. He seemed to know what repair is needed but didn’t have time that day to complete it. He said he would put a note on our file. We have asked for this service person to be sent back but instead they sent the guy who told us that all doors have drafts. I have sent an email again, a few weeks ago, stating that the drafts are still there and requesting the service technician who confirmed the draft be sent back and have had no response. I wish we had just left our original doors that were completely sealed. If you are looking for new quality entry doors I would look elsewhere!Nordik Windows & Doors

Update! Nordik did send a service technician back. He was unable to repair the draft and we decided to just live with it. We now have a foam piece coming up from the trim at the bottom of the working door. We don’t want to remove it because then that trim will be loose. We don’t know what the issue is with these doors but we do know that they weren’t cheap! We are so disappointed with Nordik!Review fromLes S

1 starBIG MISTAKE - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Nordik Windows - Mississauga location.. We ordered 10 windows; 2 sliding door & front door in around May '23. Installed mid July/August.. We have been dissatisfied with the install and windows. We continue to go back and forth trying to get all the issues fixed including our front door. "Who installs a blue door with grey surround.. **** ****".
Our 2 sliding doors have wind coming thru and icing at the bottom of door. One guy says it needs a gasket, the other one says they do not have gaskets for sliding doors. What kind of mickey mouse people do they have working there. On service guy told us that the wind will always come thru because is a felt. So why would a sales person recommend sliders when we wanted to install patio doors and he talked us out of it due to hight winds coming thru our area.
It took them almost 3 months to finish a basement window. They didn't measure the inside correctly, so thru out the summer could not use my guest room.
Dan L. our Sales person never returned our call, we had called numerous times with no response **** *****, now dealing with Jennifer at office. If anyone is looking to get window and have Dan come, I would recommend you kick him out of your home. ** ** *** ** ****** ******* To this day still no response from him.
We now had contractors at 3 different times come to the house to fix our issues and again nothing is done, and everyone is stating something different.
Our issues are still not resolved.
We are beyond frustrated. I'm assuming next step is to contact a lawyer.Review fromStephen D

1 starI ordered 6 windows from Nordik Windows and Doors on August 29, 2022, Big mistake! It took 14 months, 4 installs, and 35 interactions before I gave up! During the initial install on Dec. 16, 2022 Nordik sent 2 windows that were 1.25” short - but they installed them anyways. Nordik broke one window, and also the brick trim. They didn’t tell me any of this, and when I pointed issues out the installers truly didn’t care at all! Nordik also didn’t bring all the wood trim they needed. Nordik didn’t install the foam weatherproofing between the wall frame on some windows. When I noted this the installers got very mad at me. In total, 4 of the 6 windows were either the wrong size, broken or without weatherproofing.
I had to constantly chase Nordik over the next 14 months with 35 interactions to fix this, which they were always very slow to respond to. I was often ‘On Hold’ for 45 minutes or more, and would have to call in again. They would be up to 7 hours late for appointments, bring windows frames with no glass with the plan of moving the existing glass which is 1.25” too short into the larger frames, or forgot to include the half-moon windows. Nordik would promise to get everything fixed within a few months – 4 times in total, so I would postponed doing a full house clean until then. Thus I lived in a dirty house with one room completely unusable for 14 months. Nordik didn’t care at all.
Nordik doesn't care about prompt customer service, satisfaction, or competent workmanship!
Lots of window companies out there – be careful whom you choose to give your money to!Review fromTanya P

1 starThis is the worst company if things don't go exactly right and anything needs fixed.
I had told my sales person, Giuliano M. right from the start, that I needed to reuse my blinds and that the windows needed to fit them.
Of course they did not fit.
It took me from July 29 (when I realized they didn't fit and first contacted Nordik) until November 2 to get them to fix their error and I had to pay for it.
I had to continually follow up with them, they would go weeks without responding.
I was forced to deal with my original sales person to fix this issue, even though he was aweful to deal with. ** ******** ** *** ***** ****** **** ***** ** ** *** **** * ***** ** *** *** *****Review fromGib C

1 starNordic changed my windows and patio door in June 2023. The installers told me that they are subcontractors for Nordic, and I felt that they just wanted to finish the work and go. I changed 17 windows and a patio door and the finish the work in around 10 hours. I noticed that similar sized houses in my neighborhood, it took almost 2 days for the same job. I don't know much about installation but was watching how other houses how they install. Others space out all sides of window frame and spray insulation all around the frame. But in my house they sprayed insulation only on one or two sides where there is a large gap. I asked them whether it need insulation all around the frame and the response was they spray insulation only if the gap is 2 inches or more. So many windows have sides not insulated.
I have 3 shaped windows. They did not bring the frames for the arch when they started the work and asked me to contact Nordic. I called them and they said will order your parts and will give you a call when the parts arrive. It took months and finally some came to install it. He found its not fitting my windows and asked me to contact Nordic. I called them again and after couple of months I received call from them that the parts are ready and someone will come to install it. They scheduled some one , they came to my house and told me that they don't have the parts. I don't know why they came to my house then. I also talked to Nordic my concern about the insulation, I thought the guys came at least to check it. Moral of the story-my work not finished yet. I have already painted all other frames, and even if Nordic wants to check the insulation, I will have to spend more money painting them and it might look messy. I have no problem with their products, but who will pay me for fixing the bad job by them. I have to wait many days for service tech and making mess.Review fromJanet J

1 starI needed 2 windows replaced. From start to finish it took 16 months.
9 out of 14 scheduled service technician visits no one showed up. One time the scheduled visit date and time was changed but no one called me to inform that they had changed it. One time they went to a house that was not my address but argued with me that they were at the right house and nobody was answering the door.
Don’t waste your time leaving messages or emails, they don’t return them. Four times I asked to speak to a service technician manager, I was told all 4 times that they were not in the building, but somebody would call me back. Nobody called back.
The service technician when they finally show up tells you 1 thing and then puts something totally different and is a lie in his report, so you have to start the process all over again. This happened 3 times to us.
When the windows finally were ready to be installed. One was the wrong size. They called me a few days later to tell me that they had found my correct size window, it was mislabelled. Then it took 4 scheduled visits for someone to finally show up to actually install the correct window.Review fromAdam P

1 star**** ***** ******** ***** * ******* ****** *** ******* ******* ****** ** **** ****.
They will send you to collections before finishing the job, details below.
My salesperson was Tony, i* *** *** **** **** ****** *** **** *** ***** ***** **** ****.
They take your order, randomly show up a day the following year, "install" the windows and then immediately threaten you with collections even though I told them immediately in the morning I wasn't paying for the wrong/broken windows to be installed. (All documented with time stamps and pictures) I have a bunch of pictures of errors while the windows were on my flooring in the packaging prior to install. I told them immediately about the problems and that I wasn't comfortable paying that day. They acknowledged in the morning, but said they would install them anyway and fix it later.
But then after they installed them, things changed.
They told me I had to pay.
I'm not kidding, it's company policy to call a lady at HQ who doesn't listen to any legitimate complaints but simply explains she's sending you to collections immediately. You don't even get a 24hour grace period to voice concerns or examine your windows. The men just stand around your house until you capitulate and write a check.
I asked for brick mold, they installed aluminum capping and some of my windows aren't even the right size. Along with dozens of other problems (light coming in around windows edge). You won't improve your houses air tightness with Nordick so look elsewhere if you are doing an energy audit.
I've had to waste countless hours trying to get them to do anything.
After several months, and talking to a lawyer, I was sent out Brent B., Installation Manager, who told me my windows had so many required fixes they would just redo the windows. That was many months ago now and he simply won't reply when I reach out. Again, the company ignores anything that isn't a negative review.Review fromwilliam f

we had 12 windows ( 23 panes) replaced in 2022 by Nordik. We had a problem with some panes ( gas loss) and contacted Nordik and they sent their technical guy (Haig).
He looked at the problem, and checked all the windows to make sure those were the only problems. He contacted Nordik who replaced the panes with no problem. Haig even came in and installed the windows. They take their warranty seriously.
I always feel that companies thrive by having good people like Haig that take their responsibility seriously and are credit to the organization.
Thank you Haig.

***** ** *** *****. It took four installation attempts over two months to actually get a door installed *** ** ******** ********** ** *** **** ** ******, and even after that they forgot a part and it required another two visits. Mistakes were made from the sales person right through until the various installation teams.
Apologies were minimal and they never offered anything in terms of compensation or a discount for having plywood over the door opening (new installation) for two months.Nordik Windows & Doors
