Precise ParkLink is using their semi-monopoly status for parking services in Downtown Vancouver to gouge paying customers with exorbitant penalties - that are not commiserate to other parking services elsewhere in the GVRD nor mirror the gravity of the infraction. This company has no scruples to overcharge a paying customer for minor infractions - just because they have a license to permit and I propose their license be withdrawn until they adjust their policies and penalties to mirror "reasonableness".
      My experience:
      - I paid the full parking charge of the Precise ParkLink parking location 1467 - beside Hotel Vancouver
      - On 5/28/2024, I paid a 3 hour charge from 3:25 pm to 6:25 pm for a Vancouver Board of Trade event at Hotel Vancouver
      - I was 18 mins late coming back because of **** interactions - getting to my car at 6:40 pm when a ParkLink employee already issuing a ticket
      - When I saw the penalty of $100, I asked for a reduced penalty given that I was only 18 mins late at worst after already paying 3 hours - not justifying that significant a penalty
      - The Precise ParkLink employee refused and said I should call the office the next day when it was open.
      - The next day when I called the office, a Precise ParkLink employee refused to adjust the $100 ticket - indicating even 1 second delay past paid timing is subject to the FULL penalty
      - When I tried to clarify that every other business does not charge a full penalty - but a penalty commiserate with the infraction, the Precise Parklink employee reiterated that 1 second over was a $100 fine. She would not budge and became *********** to my ongoing pleas to adjust to an acceptable penalty - but to no avail.
      - IF Precise ParkLink enforces these absurd levels of penalties - which don't match the severity of the infraction, with a ZERO tolerance level. * ***** *** **** *** *** ****** ***** ******* ******** *** *** *** *** *********** *** ****** **** * ** * ******* *** **** *** **** ***** ** ***********

We parked at a downtown Calgary for to a cafe (1st half hour is free) and paid to park $2 (Note it is $3 to park all day Sat) in a few months after we were at the Bistro we received a notice that we were in violation and did not pay to park ----- we sent them proof of payment and they replied and offered us to pay $32 for a $2 parking fee ---we replied we would pay to get them off our back --- they sent us another notice saying we were denied by the appeal board --- we responded well within their deadline ( 1 week to spare) but then the send another notice the ticket was now $121 and then again another notice the ticket is now $ 140+-$150 from a collection dept ----- called them and they said you need to dispute the ticket as they were only the payment dept.
Precise ParklInk Inc keep sending out collection notices although we provided proof of payment and they did not reverse there accounting mistake----- just non stop collection notices ------ they need to correct and reverse this amount in dispute.

I am a regular customer in the downtown area. Despite paying for parking they would regularly ticket my car. I would then have to spend my time correcting their mistakes. Even after proof of payment and several emails they sent it to collections rather than correct the issue.

I parked in their lot on *** Victoria Avenue in Toronto by ***. I came in 10 minutes before 5 pm, thinking that I would have to pay $4 for less than half an hour and then their $9 night rate. I was charged the $29 which included the $20 daily maximum plus the $9 night rate. I asked the security guard on this, who told me to press the button on the machine to call the office. I pushed the button and they argued with me that because I came in between 8 am and 5 pm, I needed to be charged the daily maximum of $20. I explained to them that normally, it is the half hour rate UP TO the daily maximum but they didn't understand. They kept insisting that this is how the daily maximum is charged. They gave me a number to call.
This morning, I called the number they gave me and she advised me the same thing. I have filed a complaint with Precise Park and hope someone will be able to correct this. I will never park in one of their lots again. It is a total *** *** and not worth the aggravation.

I have purchased HPass in Mar2024 for 30 uses. But in never worked. It is total waste of money.
I don't recommend anyone to buy this HPass. It never working. Every time i have to call for assistance. They will ask same questions name, pass number etc and open the gate. I visited the office and the person told me it is activated and it never works. I visited 2 times to Kiosk and they assured that it is activated but never works. It is ridiculous and frustating. As usual they will never refund the money as per business policy. No body is accountable/answerable and it is total waste of my hard earned $175. It's totally frustrationg experience.

Paid for parking (12 hours) and put the ticket on my dash. The invoice said 5 hours into parking I had no ticket. Received invoice in the mail for $175 parking violation. Email Precise Parklink with proof of payment. Told Precise that my paid ticket was on the dash and that NO TICKET was on my car from them. Was told ticket was not on my dash. Asked for proof which they could not prove. Being told on invoice this will be sent to collection agency. You can not get a hold of anybody by phone. WILL NEVER USE ANY PRECISE PARKLINK LOTS AGAIN!!!!!!!!! ******* ** *** **************************************

I parked in this parking lot for about 20 minutes. I attempted to pay the fee but was unsuccessful. A month or so later I received a parking ticket for $175.00. I feel this is more like a monthly rate, not an hourly rate. I filed a dispute to no avail. ***** **** ******* *** ** *** ****

Had to park in one of their lots ***** ** ** *** ******** ** **** ** *** ** ** ** ********** ** ** *** ****** Come out to a $100 parking ticket. * *** ** ******* *** ** ***** **** ** ******* I wasn't able to stop and pay for parking before hand. I would've absolutely paid after, but I couldn't display the ticket before because I was literally running inside. I tried to dispute this, and even make a suggestion of maybe offering to be able to pay after (like hospitals), especially considering there's a vet clinic that takes emergencies that use the parking garage for their clients. I was told that my ticket was valid because I didn't display the ticket before I went in. I asked how I was expected to do this **** * ***** ****** and was told that this does not count as extenuating circumstances. The lady told me the only time they'll exempt paying before is if the DRIVER of the vehicle is in need of immediate medical attention. *** ***** ***** I purchased a monthly parking permit from them and still received a ticket. Tried to called multiple times, was put on hold; emailed them, never got a reply so I paid the ticket before the due date. Tried to call them again regarding the dispute and their response was "Since you paid, it means you agreed that you are at fault"?!? What kind of answer and service is that?!? First you guys made a mistake, asked me to pay for your mistake and blamed me for it. **** ****** ** ******
