      I have been a client of Rogers for several years.
      we have had many issues including low speed and dropped tv service, over and over. I have spent many hours on phone and have taken days off work for techs to come and try to fix issue. every time they told to complete a rest and there is nothing wrong with our service. I started to feel that it was me and decided they were right. In July 2023 after have more interruptions, we finally has a tech and his supervisor visit our home and after 3 different visits and time off work. They found that our cat6 was wired in a loop and causing issues. they said this should have been found by the other techs. The techs suggested I keep calling Rogers and relay issues, that they have been fixed and demand a discount. I spent the time and called. After many calls I finally contacted a sales rep that seemed to want to help. she spuriously gave me a monthly discount for 2 years. I was so happy and agreed and thanked her and hung up phone. Today Oct 10 2023 I called Rogers to ask if they would match a great offer I received from Bell last week. during text chat conversation I was informed that the lady got me the discount by signing me up with a 2 year contract. This was a phone conversation and was agreed.
      I requested to speak to a supervisor. He told me they can not match and would cost $480 to leave my contract. I felt as if I was a nuisance and was wasting there time.
      Rogers told me that there is nothing in my conversation or from the rep in writing saying its a new contract for a 2 year term. He said that because they sent me a copy of my service agreement, it is binding and there was nothing he would do. She sent me the service agreement the next day. I made the mistake of not reading it. i was under the impression it would be as discussed on phone. I wish these big corporation would not conduct business' in this way. please doing this to your neighbors and have compassion. Also I agreed to 1.5 gig and only get 250mb or less.

      ***** *** ** ** ********* **** *** ** **** **** **** ****** *** ***** ******** ******** I was on the phone waiting for almost 2 hours waiting for a supervisor to come on so they can adjust my bill. I was charged for roaming even when my phone is off and for customer service to remedy these false charges they had to get a supervisor and I was on hold for 1 hour and 54 minutes and still holding. I was not about to give up since these charges should not have happened. I wish there was another provider outside of Rogers services. * **** ***** **** ****** ** **** *********

      Rogers is engaging in high pressure door to door sales tactics, next time I will phone 911. I asked them leave several times, they thought it was funny

      ****** * **** *** *** ***** ******* ********* Inefficient protocol ** ****** they can't resolve any issues. They don't communicate within and don't read the notes even tho they said the call is being recorded. *********** ***** They keep you on hold for hours just to talk to the manager and they brush you off saying they will take care of it. A month later the issues are still there. They screw up and they report you to the credit bureau. *** ******** ********* *** *************

      My problems started because the **** and Rogers. It was so stretch full thanks to the Rogers! The deal I had with **** was $0 basic mobile service but byod ( buy your own data ). Rogers offer suppose to be a very similar deal except the byod has no roll over feature.
      My last month billing for 2 lines were :
      Voice unlimited weekday minutes 56 48
      Unlimited weekend minutes 49 48
      Data 1 gb non-share data included 159mb 104.70mb
      Text msg canada and roaming - received 15 msg 2msg
      Total bills $94.50 incl. gst and $10 discount on auto pmt
      I had talked with Rogers customer service many times and went to the Rogers store (once) the Staffs were very nice and they admitted it was a mistake and will be correct in 3 days, but what they promised me doesn't represent their company who they work for.

      Called Rogers to prebook a service disconnect at the end of the month. They cut me off immediately rather than the requested date. Then I had to dedicate hours on the phone, most of a day to get services reconnected. Little did I know, the fun was just starting! My first a bill was over $700 (when I owed nothing) They have now halved that amount which is still double of what I owned because my bill has me listed as having 2 of everything.
      This is now 2 months later and I am getting final bill notices. More hours with "customer" service who keep telling me its getting fixed...Getting through is a nightmare because my account is now closed.. HELP how do I get this company to fix this before they affect my credit rating??

      My contract expired February 2023. The billing included the fee for financing the phone during the 2 year plan. The phone fee of $695 was paid and the billing for the financing continues. The bill is $180 per month and there are no offers for new contracts presented. When contacted, the agents transfer back and forth and then claim I was transferred to Fido. The transcript did not arrive. The agent claimed the customer service was closed. The time was 7 pm PST, service closes either at 10:30 or midnight EST. I have been a customer since 2009 and since the merger with Shaw the service is horrendous.

      I went ahead and got ********* PVR’s (no choice as the ******* PVR’s weren’t working properly) *** *** ********* *** ******** They keep cutting out sometimes four times a day.
      I have spoken to tech support so many times in the last four months trying to get someone who could rectify this problem but all’s I get is a bunch of malarkey.
      One tech worker even said that on their end they could see that the PVR box in my living room was a little bit warm and maybe I could place a fan close by to keep it cool!
      Seriously?! ************ The box is/ was barely warm to the touch.
      **** *** ******* By the way be very careful because when I was first enquiring about ********* the person I spoke to told me to ‘just get rid of the ******* PVR equipment’ because it’s obsolete and they don’t bother refurbishing it or even use it anymore. They said I could take it to the recycling depot or just throw them away. When the guy came to hook up the ********* I asked him (just to be sure) if he would mind taking the ******* PVR’s along with him. He said no that Rogers doesn’t bother with them anymore as they’re obsolete and that I can do with them as I was previously instructed.
      Okay done I took them to the recycling depot.
      Imagine my surprise when I got my bill and it was a little over $100 more than usual.
      I called Rogers and enquired why my bill was so high and the woman told me it was because I didn’t return my old equipment!
      I always keep track of who I spoke to and the time and date so I was able to tell her who I spoke to and that the woman told me to just get rid of my old ******* PVR equipment.
      The woman I was speaking to trying to clear this up said that what I was told was correct about how to dispose of the old equipment.
      Really … then why was I being charged for it?!

      A Lady from Rogers (name Diya S.) contacted me to give me wireless phone plan with 30 CAD with 5GB data if I switch from another. I first made sure that lady was working for Rogers . next day she called back and said everything is set.
      Next two days i got hard copies of package with high price instead of what she said.
      I called rogers and they dropped the phone as they did not have answer.
