      ***** ****** *******. Bought my cell plan and phone never worked out of box from ****** ****** ******** ********** After literal days calling them and Rogers and them saying there was nothing they could do they finally told me they would send a replacement which they did but it took weeks. By that time I had to travel 400 km on ****** ****** business so I did not even crack open box. Then they suspended my service until I pay for new phone!!?? They never said they would bill me for 2 phones.Now I have 2 useless phones stuck far from home with no service. ***** ****** *** *********

      Rogers Communications review: Lied to during initial communication with regards to starting a financing plan.
      Rogers has the audacity to once again pass off any true means of resolve to another department who has no authority to meet the criteria of which a customer can have the very promotional perks that were promised just prior to a 2yr financing contract, actually honored! Rogers has now reinforced their true motivation to not only mislead but fear away from any means of accountability! I am truly appalled as to the the initial misrepresentations, and even more so appalled at the conspiracy of which any type of upper management defends and supports the ****** **** of their reps through juggling complaining customers to different departments that don't resolve, but rather talk and attempt to manipulate customer in believing their intentions were somehow sincere! Rogers, are you really that ignorant to sink as low as the ultimate reputable degrade for a measily few bucks...After reading the countless complaints that reiterate this constant theme of mislead and fraudulently motivated victims of Rogers ******* ******* ****...I will now make every effort to advertise through complaints, Reviews, BBB's complaints/reviews,,, the truth of Rogers clear lack of accountability and "runaround" protocols which clearly leaves complaining customers with not even an acknowledging responsive tone, let alone any type of honored retribution! Shame on you Rogers...seems like you guys are just trying to skim every dollar possible (through the careless acts of mislead customers) before any final transition takes place (I.e, Rogers/Shaw)

      Door-to-door sales people came to offer me a deal if I switched my services to the new Rogers/Shaw. I told them what we paid and received from ***** and they insured me I would have all of that and more for much less money. I was not given a chance to do due diligence as they claimed the deal would be gone if I didn’t sign up right away.
      Within 2 days, i realized we didn’t have near the channels I used to and adding them separately made our bill the same as before.
      Two days later I found out that when the tech was here they had cut my Landline and my neighbours and we have to pay ***** to reconnect $125 each.
      I was also told that because the two services come in on different lines, I could have them both running to compare and see what I liked better being able to cancel shaw if I was not satisfied. But these lines were also cut, so I could not do that.
      I called to discuss the land lines and was told there’s no proof that it was their tech, and Rogers could not be held responsible.
      I was also told there was nothing further they could do for me in terms of compensation, as I’ve already had credits put on my account to compensate for the lack of channels.
      When I called to cancel my account, they were having a technical issue on their end and could not process it and asked me to call back later. I got busy before I could call back and now they’re charging me a $750 cancellation fee because I missed the window. Had they been able to process the cancellation when I first requested I would have been no fee.
      The only compensation they offered was if I kept their services they would credit me $100 towards my home services and $10 a month to my cell phone.
      I did not want to continue doing business with them so they are charging me to $750 cancellation fee.
      Total money, grab, remember when they charged everybody two dollars for a bill they didn’t send out and made themselves a quick 2 million for doing nothing? It’s the Rogers way!

      Beware the fine print on upfront edge products. After being with rogers for over a decade they decided to charge me the remaining cost of my device because I closed the account before bringing the phone back. Still within the last month of my contract, but they would not accept the device back. The only suggestion they could provide was to try and sell it. Absolutely ridiculous.

      Rogers canceled my home internet service acknowledging no cancellation fees.
      I asked to reactivate the service immediately afterwards when I realized there is indeed cancellation fee incurred, but they asked me to go with Ignite which is $20 more expensive per month than what I am currently paying.

      I used to have a $50 monthly plan with Rogers. I decided to get a new phone with finance so I called. At the end of finishing my commitment, I reassured by asking my existing phone plan will not be changed, and the specialist reassured 'yes'. The only extra is the monthly installment to pay for the new phone. However, I received an email later from Rogers that my phone plan has been raised to $90 a month plus the phone set installment. I called, spoke to manager. I said so called specialist was not able to get customers well informed and I asked 2 times making sure I stayed on existing plan, and the answer was positive yes. The manager said he cannot revive my ancient plan as it was already replaced by the higher plan once I committed to buy the phone. The question is I asked the question, so should I be penalized on Rogers staff's product knowledge negligence and the manager said even he has no authority to revive to my ancient plan. Now I have to pay $90 plus tax a month just on a plan alone with 120 GB vs 50 GB I had before but I only used up to 1/5 of 50GB. **** *** * ** ***** **** ** ** ******* **** *********  ** ******** ***** **** **** ** * ***** *** *** ** *** ******* **** *** ****** ***** ***** *******  Rogers should deal with this kind of situation doing whatever they can? Not as the manager say there is nothing he can do.       Unreliable service. Customer service (Tech support) always offering a band-aid solution 'reboot or restart the cable box' and never bother looking into why the issue occurs 2-3 times a day each and every day.
      ********* *** paying extremely high rates and not receiving the product (channels) that they are paying for, We are paying for a service that we are not getting. **** ***** ** ********** ***** *** * *****  Promising, billing and charging customers for a service that they are unable (or unwilling) to provide.

I once had a family plan and my own with rogers and when they pulled this years ago I cut off all lines. I thought it would be different now. Even when I came back to rogers they were taking incorrect amount of money that took months to fix.       Terrible service and support. 10+ years loyal customer at this home alone and they won't honor my current package and replace my modem. They make it as frustrating and complicated as possible to get in touch with anyone. You can buy internet services in person but have to go through the 3h gauntlet of phone queues and transfers to cancel. Hard to believe the rogers resellers offer better support and cheaper service on the same infrastructure without contracts. (For new customers, let alone loyal ones)

      False advertising. I was told to switch to Rogers from **** and I could save money for paying only $45 a month on my mobility bill. 2 months later I’m still paying $90 (more than what I was told) and wish I never made the switch. The worst part is they admitted they forgot to input my discount codes and understand they messed up. Anyways avoid switching over the phone with Rogers because my issue still haven’t been resolved. I’m going to file a lawsuit and will demand a compensation.
