      A few years ago they got me to signup for service and promised me a number of things, including $200 per line applied aginst my bill. I agreed, signed up and then only received $200 total, and not $200 per line. I had to requst a recording of the audio to get them to give me the other $400.
      Fast foward two years. I get signed up for mobility again. They promise me again a number of things including $200 per line and no connection fees. I get my first bill and there is $50 connection fees for each of my phones! Now I have to request the audio, wait another 30 days and go through this pain in the ass process.
      Similarly, they signed me up for security. Offered me a camera for free and I still haven't received the camera! Back to requesting a recording of the audio. A pain in my ass. ***** ** * ***** **** ******** *** ***** ***** ***** ******* ******* The people that try and sell you contracts just want to make a dime. ***** **** *** ********* * **** ******** ******** ** *** ****** ** ***** ***** I have sold every share because of my experiences with residential services! If you have any services with them - watch them like a hawk. ***** ****** ** ***** *** **** ***** 
      This is my experience, I'm sure it's shared by others. **** **** **** ***** *** * ********** ***** ******* *** ********** ****** If you've had problems, contact BBB and get them to face the music.

      On January 10th, 2023, I contacted Telus to exchange my child's current phone with a new one, specifically their ****** ** for a ****** ***. I didn't want to change their phone plan: Voice 35, which does not include mobile data, but can access mobile data for an extra fee. However, their agent told me that it wouldn't be possible because the *** was "too advanced" and required a plan with mobile data to function. He refused to explain why that was. When I asked him what the difference was between mobile data and our home's wifi data, he said there was none. When I asked him why the phone couldn't use the wifi data, he again refused to answer. ** *** ** **** ***** **** * *** ******* ** *** ***** **** ** *** ** **. I thanked him for his time and hung up. My child's current plan costs $35 per month. The minimum cost for the plan deemed "necessary" by Telus is $77. ** ** ***** **** **** *** ****** ***** ******** ******* ****** *** ** ********* ** ***** ** **** ****** *** ***** **** ** ** *** **** ****** ** ******** ***** ******** The idea that mobile data is "required" for some smart phones to operate but not others is ridiculous.

      Wanted telus to explain why I was misxharged. After waiting 2 hours I got someone in a foreign country, and they said they could not help. I was transfered and waited another 30 minutes and was told , it was my mistake, and theybwill transfer to customer loyalty. After being told it would be immediate, I waited for another half an hour and hung up. I asked the question why I was being upcharged for using my ****., after thr ctrc said no. I got the complete run around and no answer, You would think they would get their stories straight. As a share holder of Telus, * **** ******** *** *** *** ***** **** ** *** ************* **** ******

      If you are looking for a cell company that will tell you your all paid up upon cancelation when you had direct billing, but then sends you to collections for a bill with zero warning then this is your provider! I settled the affair with collections weeks ago however telus still insists I owe them money and will not release records information to me even though I have confirmation from the collections agency that the issue has been resolved. **** ******* **** **** *** *** ** **** ***** *** **** *** **** ******** ********

      Brutal wait times...
      Steadfast dedication to an automated customer service computer that doesn't work...
      Very difficult to update payment information...
      They always try to redirect you to a broken automated customer service robot.

      The wait on hold to get support is completely unacceptable. Been on hold for over an hour and no end in sight.
      While I was on hold I looked up what the standard of customer service should be. All studies say that if you have wait times of over 5 minutes then you are failing your customers. I completely agree with this. Telus is failing in supporting their customers.

They give you one deal and say they couldn’t give you that deal when you get your statement. The plan ended up costing more than was told over the phone. I wrote everything down persons name. Tried multiply times would give up after waiting over an hour. Finally took the time tonight waited 2hrs finally they picked up. Told the story said they wouldn’t do anything for me. Told the girl Emily to have the escalation call me back at my convenience. Can’t wait to see if they no. I will not back down. I’m sick of businesses even government having no people to talk to taking advantage of the fact you can’t get ahold of a human, and they say ****** **** like why didn’t you contact us sooner. Awful service just like any service these days. When will customers be treated with respect.

      The signal that I get with my phone is atrocious and also because I have not had my services hooked up with my tv and internet I’m blowing through data and have to keep adding it on because they won’t come and hook up our internet and tv I’ve had to buy 50 dollars in data because they won’t hook up our internet and didn’t even place a order to have our internet installed now I’m almost out of data it’s unacceptable! I shouldn’t have to pay for the extra data when the technicians don’t know what *** **** there doing I want a credit on my account for having to pay for the extra data

      Terrible service, waited 45 min , not once but 3 times. Cant wait for ******** phones. Oh and after waiting 45 min. Talk to someone give info then get transferred after a 15 min hold and have to give all info again. *******

      Longtime client with Telus tried for four business days to get a ***** Watch connected to my ******. Each time waited two hours one day gave up had appointment had to go to. Other three days one hour wait then told had to connect to another department and another wait one hour long hung up to long. Phoned next day and waited for one hour on the phone then it started to ring and rang twenty five times then I hung up. ** *** ********* *****.
